-Clean rooms and beds were comfy with 2 pillow options. -Room was huge with separate living room area - had direct access to the pool with a nice deck area. -Staff were friendly and helpful for check-in as we arrived very late. -Internet was strong, I was able to have zoom calls in my room. -Location was decent with a short 10-15min walk to a main street with lots of food options for lunch/dinner, or a short drive into Cape town centre

Shower could have been better, door didn't fully close and didn't drain super well. Location is on a hill so if planning to walk, it is quite uphill on the way back.

I recently stayed at The Walden Suites and I have to say, it was a fantastic experience. The host, Melanie, was incredibly welcoming and went above and beyond to make sure my stay was comfortable. The staff was also incredibly friendly and made me feel at home. One of the highlights of my stay was the delicious and healthy breakfast that was served every morning. It was a great start to my day and set me up for a productive day ahead. Last but not least, the pool was simply amazing. It was the perfect place to relax and unwind after a long day. Overall, I would highly recommend The Walden Suites to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

What can I say. It is a Cape Town Fairytale. The view, the pool, the owners, the amazing bougainville, the view, the silence, yet the heart of the city within walking distance (if you like walking, it's an hour, hour and half to reach whatever you need and want to reach and otherwise you grab an Uber half way. Please book room number 7. You will not be disappointed. Thank me later.

Breakfast was offered in generous quantities and with numerous options, suitable also for vegetarian/vegan diet. Wonderful fruits, veggies, pickles and sweets. Coffee was great. Everything was served by very polite staff.

A beautiful grand mansion full of character with a cute garden and a pool, in an excellent location. All very well maintained, clean and comfortable. Staff was super lovely and accommodating. Breakfast was great - waking up to a smell of freshly baked muffins was such a treat.

It's a beautiful older building but the walls are thin, you definetly hear what up in the house. Pack up earplugs!

The villa itself is beautiful, the location is perfect, the staff is friendly and helpful, and the hostess Melanie is an exceptionally cool lady.

From the amazing views of table mountain , the amazing breakfast prepared for us and the amazing people that help us put it all together. I truly am happy I decided to stay at the Walden.

We loved our stay at The Walden Suites. Our room was big and spacious and Melanie and her staff were very friendly. Breakfast was excellent and it was only a few minutes walk to some shops and restaurants.
