Lovely location. Very nice room with lovely terrace. Excellent breakfast and good food in general. Very nice spa. Plenty of parking (paid)

No coffee machine in room. Just kettle and sachets of instant coffee. This was not in line with the rest of the facilities. Reception staff were low down behind the desk. This gave the impression that they didn't really want to interact with customers. They should be more visible and say 'hello', good morning etc. They are the first impression that guests get and this lets down an otherwise very good hotel.

I have been coming to Aquadulce for around 15 years and have seen many changes over that time. The newly renovated Moom hotel is a great addition to the area. The hotel is perfectly situated in the marina and offers great value for money with fantastic friendly staff and reasonably priced food and drink. The hotel is very clean. The surrounding area has lots of lovely bars and restaurants, with more staff now starting to speak English. It's definitely a lovely part of Spain and worth a visit to stay at The Moon Hotel. I am already planning my next trip in March/April.

Sun loungers at the pool are not that comfortable.

Great Hotel, excellent location on the marina next to the beach and not far from Almeria city centre in a taxi (€14) comfortable clean spacious rooms with balcony (worth paying extra for) over looking the marina, friendly helpful staff, excellent bar for drinks (beer and glass of Rioja came to €6.40) good selection of restaurants and bars for breakfast/dinner on the marina next to the hotel (Maricastaña excellent and Casa Puga in Almeria old town must visit for tapas) also spa and gym facilities at the hotel. Would stay again 100%.

Our only main gripe was the hotel pool and rooftop terrace was not open during our stay (mid april) and this wasn’t made clear and obvious to us anywhere when making the booking online. Also breakfast at €17 per person we thought was abit expensive, much cheaper options by the hotel. Never used the hotel restaurant during stay.

I am disabled and I walk with crutches all the way to the pool which didn't open until 10am.. The maintenance man let us wait inside to save us going back to the room. When proceeding to enter the poo luckily i noticed there was only ladders so I was unable to get out if. I tried to go into the paddling pool but couldnt climb over the wall. When complaining at reception i was told that there was a chair lift available. Why isnt this fact made known in the room. How many disabled people have the energy to go backwards and forwards to reception to request the chairlift and then go swimming. So very disappointed. Karen Barwell Stayed 15th and 16th May 23

A fabulous hotel with panoramic views over the marina from our 3rd floor suite! We were there celebrating our friends’ wedding anniversary and the staff were very friendly and attentive. We enjoyed an excellent meal in the restaurant, the highlight being the smoked octopus and catch of the day turbot. There are plenty of tapas bars around the marina, but a limited choice of restaurants, so dining in Moon was the perfect location for our special celebration! Muchísimas gracias y hasta la próxima!

Good hotel very friendly staff ALL! Anything to assist private parking in secure bays €22 per day expensive but effective, very few spaces near the hotel after 6pm, very busy port at night. Very good breakfast, but would prefare normal filter coffee instead of George Clooney coffee😂 particular mention to reception friendly helpful nothings to much trouble. I would recommend this hotel to ALL.

Beautiful location: he hotel is directly on the beach, opposite the marina, with high mountains in the background. The sea was quite cold ( ir was preseason, May) , but I was able to swim regularly in the smaller but always clean swimming pool The room was large, with view to the mountains, and the breakfast was wonderful.

There are infrequent, crowded buses from Agua Duce to the nearby big city of Almeria-

1. The cleaning staff are very pleasant and do an excellent job 2. The reception staff were very helpful

1. Our 3 rooms were not ready at 2pm. We finally got into our room at 3pm! 2. The food at the hotel is very basic and not value for money. We had Caesar salads and pasta all were lacking in the quality I expect at this hotel - particularly given the prices are so high. 3. The steps into the pool (nearest to the marina view) are wobbly as the tile they are connected to is cracked. 4. There are several loose tiles around the pool area 5. There is no shade over the children's pool - this meant our little one was limited to when she could go into the water 6. Sealant around shower in room 312 was coming away

Bar and restaurant was very good and reasonable. Pool was great and private. Carlos, who doesn’t speak much English, was so courteous, professional, and he deserves a shoutout in customer service.

In my 3 weeks of traveling in Spain starting in Barcelona, I thought the woman who checked me in was curt and condescending. She was the only person I met on my whole trip like this. Maybe she was having a bad day.

We loved the hotel, from when we pulled up outside to walking inside - the decor & ambience was uplifting. Our booking in with Vanessa was then perfect, she could not do enough to be helpful for our stay. Every single person that we encountered in this hotel had a smile on their face & a willingness to help. A wonderful & memorable stay for my birthday 💖💝
