Universal Hotel Aquamarin

The view in the room was stunning and looked out right over the bay area. This is exactly what you pay for - to watch the sunset each night. The breakfast buffet was fantastic and the added bonus of being able to order off of the menu for certain "fresh" dishes (like eggs benedict) was a welcome surprise. I loved the fact that there were fresh water dispensers on each floor. Had a massage and it was great as well! I would definitely stay here again!

Parking situation wasn't great, but I managed OK in the end. Charging hotel guests for the use of the beach "club" chairs seems a bit ridiculous to me since it is a part of the hotel. This was the only major "turn off" for the hotel for me.

The location was stunning, and the staff were very efficient, and friendly.

The sunbeds were a little expensive, but I was told that this is due to local taxation.

Modern, newly refurbished and right next to the beach with lovely views across the bay. The breakfast was very, very good.

Still finishing off work to the hotel, flooring in corridors wasn’t good. Didn’t like the evening menu, we would have liked to dine in the restaurant but went out instead. The cost of the sun beds was way too high.

- Sunbeds are expensive. 40€ for two. There is also a cheaper option for 16€ for two, from a 3rd party, which is good. - Dinner is quite specific, lot’s of options with onions. The cold starters (buffet) are good (meats, salads, fresh fish). Deserts are also buffet, but not that good. Fresh fruits are good. For Main dishes (hot) you can choose one per person of around 12 options. Meats and fish are ok (neither bad nor good), but pasta/rice dishes are very Poor.

My overall experience is excellent! From the room, to the location, staff and restaurant, excellent!

Beautiful views, friendly staff, modern and pretty decor and clean. The sun beds and the sun-bed service is great. Drinks were lovely, and food was fab. The manager really cares about the hotel, and it really shows - even down to checking everything at breakfast. Breakfast was very presentable and generous. Ismael who works at the restaurant was so friendly and welcoming! Give him a raise :)

Would be nice if the outside light on the balcony would stay on a bit later. We should have been told about booking the sun beds in advance, as we only got one for 1/2 our stay. Some of the reception staff were sometimes not the most forthcoming when we asked for help/questions.

newly renovated hotel at the best place

Great location in a cute bay, not so overcrowded. Lots of restaurants nearby with local products and fishes. The hotel itself is really good, well equipped, nice spacy rooms, very clean. Excellent breakfasts.

The hotel itself doesn't have it's own parking place, so if you travel with a car, you have to park in a sandy public parking place. However it's not a big issue, we've found a place to park each day.

I love this hotel. The location is incredible and if you have a sea view terrace, you won't want to leave! Sant Elm is my favourite getaway in Mallorca - not too busy with just enough to keep you satisfied for a few days.

The hotel was built in the early 1960s - it's been updated to modern standards but still retains an elegant charm. It is situated immediately adjacent to the beach at the southern end of the resort. The rooms are basic but clean and comfortable. The north/west facing rooms have balconies with views of the sea and Dragonera island. The Wi-Fi is reliable and fast enough for general web-browsing. The staff are friendly and efficient, especially during busy mealtimes. The beach is clean, the water clear with plenty of fish to be seen whilst snorkelling.
