Beautifully maintained, very clean and great facilities. The food at the Royal Level family restaurant was exceptional. All the staff were also exceptional.

our only disappointment was that the evening entertainment was extremely loud. It did finish at 10/10.30pm but the volume was unreasonable. pick your room at Royal Level carefully. the ones to the left of the pool are quieter. otherwise the floor cleaning machine will have you up at 7.30am!!

Our stay exceeded our expectations. The restaurant El Ancla was excellent. We tried other restaurants, but they were usual resort restaurants. El Ancla was Royal Level restaurant, and it showed in the food. The beds and pillows were very comfortable, and our room had an excellent view. Rooms were cleaned daily, and housekeeping came by with chocolates every evening. Being Royal Level, we were able to visit all the pools. Our favorite was the heated pool at the Mar. It was slightly warmer than ours in Royal Family Club. Everywhere we went, we were treated well.

Unfortunately, bad weather caused a power failure during our stay. The hotel was without electricity for about 4 to 6 hours. We had to settle for one morning of cold breakfast.

Quieter eating area for All Inclusive Gold. Option to eat at different locations The Mar, Adult Only Royal, , Mafasca and El ANCLA Maintenance were quick to fix the water leak from the overhead air conditioning in the lounge of the room..

We stayed in room 2204 and had to ask for the staircase lights to be put on twice. We had to use the light on our phone to walk down the stairs - dangerous. It was my wifes birthday on the 22nd November and I ordered cake. I signed a card at the concierge to accompany the cake but the the card was not with the cake. I had to phone reception to ask where the card was, they found it and brought it down to the room. Unfortunately that spoiled the surprise. The card I signed for Suggestion - It wood nice to have a food buffet at the royal level swimming pool like the one behind the bar at the main pool.

Location was excellent. The resort is well positioned to the beach, marina, shops etc. Food was also great but could offer varied options as it did feel a little repetitive. Heated pool was perfect and the staff are wonderful

The air con in our room kept setting off the electricity, so there were a couple of uncomfortable nights. Just seems like the room needed it's aircon maintained or replaced. The tiles on the swimming pool area can be slippery so have informed the concierge to add grips to steps into the bathroom to avoid slips. Both feedback was received well and hope these are addressed for future guests.

We stayed in the Royal Level, and it was an amazing experience! The rooms were exceptionally spacious and spotless, with a large terrace offering breathtaking views. The beds were very comfortable. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable. The complex is conveniently located just a 10-15 minute walk from the main tourist shops and restaurants, and the promenade walk is beautiful with stunning sea views. The beach is just a stone’s throw away, and I swam in the sea every day—the water was comfortable even in late November. While the beach itself wasn’t perfect, It was still a nice yellow sandy bay. I would rate it a 7 out of 10. One of the highlights of the evenings was the live music—there was entertainment every night, creating a vibrant and enjoyable atmosphere to end the day. The food in the restaurant was delicious, with a good variety of options, and I would rate it an 8 out of 10. Another fantastic touch was the complimentary drinks, including champagne, available at the reception 24/7. These thoughtful details made the experience feel extra special. I would highly recommend the Royal Level for anyone looking for a luxurious and relaxing getaway,

We stayed in an apartment Barceló Fuerteventura Royal Level for 3 nights in November 2024, half board. The location was great - sea view from all the rooms, as well as a balcony that overlooked the pool. We especially enjoyed eating at the nearby El Ancla restaurant on the 1st floor of the lighthouse nearby, reserved for Royal Level guests. We meant to try the other restaurants but just really enjoyed the eating experience at the lighthouse restaurant. It had great views over looking the harbour. Generally, all the staff were friendly and helpful. There was a long path right next to the sea front just outside the apartment which was great for walks. We booked a 1-bedroom apartment but was pleasantly surprised to be given a 2-bedroom apartment.

The reception was in a separate building by itself and was quite hard to find initially. We were expecting the reception to be located next to the apartments. We drove up and down a couple of times before we found it. It was obvious once we found it. Tea and coffee should be complementary as part of the evening meal buffet, not as separate items to be paid for - especially as it came from a machine nearby.

Good food (Royal level), beautiful beaches, very nice Italian restaurant by the harbour, friendly staff by the pool.

No business centre at any of the 4 hotels of the resort, the kids club was very disappointing - no indoor place for activities for kids or toddlers - which would have been needed when the weather was bad. We spent one week and the weather was horrible almost the whole time - please note that it is very windy at this location. The Royal level play and pool area is very exposed to the constant wind, so people were only able to use the swimming pools and the play area a few hours a day, if it was sunny and if you got sunbeds where it was sheltered a bit.

Spacious modern suite, very comfortable and quiet. Right next to the swimming pool and across from the bar and restaurant. Huge choice of quality well presented food on the buffet. Restaurant staff so friendly and efficient, they worked so hard. Enjoyed the benefits of royal level, such as yoga classes and the spa, and also discounts on massage. Reception very helpful, especially with allowing us to stay by the pool for the afternoon after we'd checked out as we had a late flight. Amazing position on the coast with swimming in the sheltered huge bay, and enjoyed running on the coastal path.

Unfortunately the rule about not reserving sun loungers isn't enforced meaning that if you didn't get to the pool until after breakfast all the beds had towels on them but were unoccupied, sometimes until much later. Piped music at the pool is rather annoying.

The resort is built all around the bay and there are many different little bars all around, which are all included if you chose all inclusive. I really liked the smaller bars, La Perlita and La Goleta, because of the nice views and people watching. The all inclusive is very good and really includes pretty much everything (very nice cocktails, aperitifs, liquors, good wine per glass or bottle, ice creams, etc). The only thing not included is dinner at the a la carte restaurants in the Harbour. The Mexican en Brazilian restaurants are included, but I did not go there as I wanted to eat outside. Terra Sana (in the Adults Only Royal Level) serves a very good and varied breakfast. Dinner and lunch were also good but a bit repetitive each day. I did not really like the food at El Ancla (in the family part of Royal Level), but you do have nice views there when you sit outside. The pool in the Adults Only part was very nice. The room was comfortable, very comfy bed!

People put towels on the pool beds very early in the morning. At the Adults Only pool there would be no more beds available around 9am, even though there is still hardly anybody there at that point. The staff does nothing against it, which I find unacceptable in this type of Resort. There could also be some music by the pool. It would be better to have Self service at the bar, at least for water and soda. Had to wait in long lines of people ordering complicated cocktails, just to get some water or a coke. More variation in the lunch and dinner buffet. Better food at El Ancla so you could have a nice dinner with a view.

Where to start? We loved the location in the middle of the island which makes it easier to explore. Promenade, harbor and beautiful beach next to the hotel. Heated pool is a must in January and it was perfect. View from hotel room on the pool and sea. Small playground for children and mini golf. We have breakfast and dinner included and we just loved it (4day stay) and the staff was very friendly - Anna made our meal experience special. We recommend this hotel for couples as well as for families with children.

One thing that made me anxious before we came to Fuerteventura. I received a message that we need to present a COVID test (we have COVID pass). I wrote back and no one responded for couple of days... finally my friend called the hotel and we sort it out.
