Excellent service, clean rooms, comfortable beds, luggage hold service

The staff are exceptional, always helpful and attentive. Bags were taken straight to our room upon check-in (so efficient!) Had great tapas recommendation by a staff member to try Vinitus - highly recommend it (get away from Las Rambla, too touristy!) Staff stowed our bags at reception after we checked-out so we didn’t have to rush to leave for our fast train (and could take time for lunch first). And we were given complimentary water for our walk (didn’t even have to ask for it)! The room was very clean and well-laid out (and quiet!) very comfortable bed for a good nights sleep and the shower was great too! Beautiful historic building. Great location to everything - Gothic Quarter, train, Gaudi, Cathedral, shopping, restaurants, airport was only a short distance, too.

We liked everything about the holiday. I had phoned ahead and also Booking.con on our behalf, requested a quiet room with terrace. When we arrived we were given a balcony room overlooking the main road! Although all rooms are triple glazed, it definitely didn't comply with our request! We were very grateful therefore to be upgraded o to the back of the hotel, overlooking the swimming pool. It was very peaceful and exactly what we needed! Tha k you Catalonia Passieg de Gracia. Loved the location, which was great for sightseeing, shopping, and restaurants and felt very safe All the staff were excellent and clearly wanted to go a ove and beyond to ensure we had a lovely time. Every restaurant recommends.me dating was spot on too. We can't wait to return.

it is years that I am based in this hotel for my business trips in BCN. Great people and great installation, with a great pool and nice gym. people at the reception are always smiling and on top. every time I am in BCN, I want to be sure to be in this place, doesn't matter if summer or winter. if you try the restaurant as well, you will be surprised by the good quality of the food, and for breakfast enjoy the good morning mood of the people that helps during the breakfast opening.

the connection must be upgraded, it is a bit slow and not very good for business. just a little particular that do not hide the great place and people working there

Location - very close to La Ramblas but away from the craziness. Very nice locality and quite safe. Walking distance to metro station. Room - fantastic room size and facilities, great air conditioning and bathroom Hotel - amazing facilities and 4 star service, amazing breakfast. They even have nice areas to work from. Good Wifi to work. Staff - probably the best you can ask for! Quality service. They even upgraded us for free.

Bed - was soft and springy, so not great for the back and a little squeaky if you tossed around. Breakfast - was a little expensive (€22 a day which drops to €18 if you eat 3 days), but you get a great spread and fresh eggs made to order. Probably.not worth it for vegetarians as you can get a very good breakfast for much cheaper at a Cafe nearby.

The rooms were excellent. Beds were confortable. Could use more wastepaper cans. More English speaking channels on TV. The breakfast in the morning was very good and apoealed to most people Pleny of good quality food. The staff was very good kind, and hard working.

They could have had more informationabout the facilities in the hotel. With the exception of one ypung girl at the desk all the other employees were very competent. We asked for a list of Catholic masses in the area it was ckear the young girl was not very knowledgeble. They should have a list of masses in addition to a list of restaurants.

Room was nicely appointed...we got a penthouse suite which had the sitting room and the bathroom with the shower on the first floor and the bedroom upstairs. The bedroom area was big with a large terrace with a wonderful view and a table and chairs...that was really lovely. As with our previous stay in a Catalonia hotel in Madrid, the breakfast was to die for and the service gracious.

The TV downstairs in the sitting room never worked while we were there. Told the staff after the first night and they said a maintenance person looked and it and was "working on getting the right parts?" but was never fixed. Not a huge deal, but we had to check back...more communication would have been nice.

This hotel is in central Barcelona with easy access to safe walking routes and easy public transport. The Plaza de Catalonia with its excellent tourist information office is nearby and provides advice about using public transport and places to visit that would interest us, such as the buildings designed by Gaudi. Our room had a little terrace where we could sit and enjoy a drink after our day of tourism.

We found it difficult to find from the address given. We took a taxi once and the driver couldn't find it so we got him to drop as at the Plaza de Catalonia. We didn't take breakfast in the hotel because it costs over £20. The details showed that the menu was extensive but that's not always what travellers want. Perhaps offering an alternative cheaper 'continental' version would appeal to those who would like a lighter start to the day.

This hotel is a wee gem! Fabulous location (about 3 minutes walk from central airport bus stop) you couldn’t be more central. We booked a room with a balcony and were given one at the front, which overlooks the main street. The doors/windows were well insulated and we couldn’t hear the traffic and it was lovely to sit out and watch the world go by in the evening, with a glass in hand! Staff were exceptional. The room was lovely, clean and bright and the outside sun terrace is just fabulous. We will defo use this hotel again. Highly recommended.
