Room was good, breakfast was great value and brilliant selection.

We had a daily rate and when on the 2nd day I questioned as to why the complimentary tea and coffees in the room were not replenished, we were told this had to be purchased, even though these were not shown on the re-order list. This was disappointing along with the fact that the room service did not include having the cups and glasses cleaned except of a weekend, which I am guessing was due to different staff being on duty.

I liked everything to be honest. I hadn't intended to stay in Bilbao as long as I did and found the hotel by "accident" Having said that the location is fantastic, the breakfast was superb with lots of options. The room was very comfortable and all the staff throughout the hotel were extremely friendly. There is secure parking which is an essential for me as a motorcyclist. Fair to point out that the parking is at an additional cost but well worth it for peace of mind. Something to note, it is right beside the AC Bilbao football stadium. There was a big match on the Tuesday night. I am not a huge football fan but I have been converted and the atmosphere was truly amazing. I will be back to see a game... The hotel is close..ish to everything. I was able to walk to the Guggenheim and everywhere else. Perfect for me!!

For me, absolutely nothing. I cannot fault it.

The room was clean and the staff was friendly, efficient, and welcoming. The breakfast was very good. The toiletries were nice and thankfully included a toothbrush and tooth paste (which I had forgotten).

The location of the hotel is right next to the stadium and ideal for anything in the area, but was far less central than I had expected from looking at the map alone. The layout of the room was not unpleasant, but seemed bizarre: there was a standard sized room with beds and a desk, a large bathroom, a hallway and a tiny sitting room that I really did not understand. Perhaps it would be suited to business meetings but seemed too small for this purpose and certainly not arranged for formal meetings. The spring beds were far too soft and quite short. I am tall but my feet were completely off the edge.

Kind and lovely staff always with a smile on the face. Breakfast had very good options, from savoury to sweet. Bed and pillow were very comfortable.

Only sponge cake at breakfast felt a bit dry. Perhaps a cake cover or recipe review could solve it. The rest of the breakfast was fab, with a lot of healthy and tasty options and well presented so it felt appealing. Room felt a bit hot, and we weren't able to solve it with air-conditioning, window open did it's job. Shower head pressure could be better, bath spout water pressure was perfect. The scent in hotel reception could be more subtle.

Our room enjoyed a decent view being at the back, not facing the sports centre. It and the bathroom were well designed and had every convenience including a proper bath. Plumbing excellent. The staff could not have been more welcoming and helpful, including translations from Spanish to English. The buffet breakfast had everything, all of very good quality. Dinner too was delicious and very good value.

The location is some 2.2 km from the old town which some may find a demerit. But it enjoys a lovely view of the river and is significantly cheaper.

My partner and I travelled to Bilbao to compete in the European Triathlon Championships which necessitated taking bikes with us too. The location was perfect for my race starting by the Maritime Museum, we were allowed to store our (clean) bikes in our room and the carpark behind the hotel was ideal too. The room was spotlessly clean and fresh, as was the ensuite bathroom - super nice bedding and towels made us feel both comfortable and relaxed. Breakfast was a Buffet style affair with loads of choice and we ate like Kings (being athletes!) - nothing was too much trouble for the staff and Reception - we couldn't have been made more welcome, despite them being very busy with athletes and a weekend wedding party. On our departure the car had a flat battery - again, two Spanish guys came to our immediate rescue and sorted us out, and we (just!!) made our ferry from Santander in time. They were polite and friendly, and genuinely wanted to get us on the road as we were up against Time.

The ONLY thing I would mention is the lack of any English channels, news or otherwise, on the television - not that this mattered hugely, it would have been nice to have kept up with the BBC news. Am sure this is a temporary blip!

Fabulous modern hotel with great rooms. The breakfast choice was excellent. Super location right opposite the football stadium and even though there was a match on whilst we were there it was not noisy. A few bars within a couple of minutes and easy walking to the old town. Underground only a stroll away. Will certainly be back to visit this lovely city and would 100% stay here. Worth adding that we had an issue as our toilet wasn’t working. The staff acted as soon as advised and moved us to another room.

The Location, the room, the staff. Fantastic access for travel. The view from our room and The Terrace bar was stunning. Great hospitality. Loved the cafe inside and out. The staff, particularly The Terrace staff were very welcoming and friendly and efficient. Being close to all amenities.

That there was no swimming pool in the hotel

Location of the hotel was very convenient. Beds were comfy, room was clean.

Bathroom a little bit outdated and size of the room on the small side when the sofa was opened for the kids to sleep. Room noisy: we could hear the elevator rings and some conversations in the hallway or adjacent rooms. Parking was not included although part of the hotel and we had to remove our car from it or leave early because the roads around were closed two hours before a soccer game in the stadium nearby. Overall it made it expensive for the value.

Incredible breakfast, best I've ever had in a hotel. Comfortable rooms, good location for exploring Bilbao. Safe parking

The pet fee, not disclosed on booking.com, at 30 euros was the highest I've seen and parking is 19 euros o Per night, taking it from good value to overpriced in my book.
