The location was great - a short walk to the main beach and to the area with all the restaurants. The room was a great size and the bed was comfortable. The room was also clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. It is a pet-friendly accommodation, which I was a bit worried about, however I wasn't disturbed at all by any noise, and the room was really clean and fresh!

The bathroom was a little bit on the smaller side. The aircon in the room was a stand aircon, which was very loud. I would keep it on when I was out, and turn it down when I got back so it was a little quieter. The room was very hot without it so I did have to keep it on. This was a minor issue though - certainly not a dealbreaker.

A lovely pension superbly located with easy walking access to everything that San Sebastian offers - old town with its teaming cafes and restaurants, the lovely beach, the Cathedral and beautiful basilique and the great shops on the door step. Step outside and turn into the first door on the right for coffee or lunch; perfect. The Pension is on the third floor with lift and stair access but there are about 12 steps to climb before the lift to level 2 or 3 from where you climb or descend another small flight of stairs to the entrance; it is unsuited for those with severe mobility or, perhaps, with heavy luggage. Our room had a small enclosed balcony where we could sit for breakfast or tea or to read a book - great. The room was nicely laid out, very clean and comfortable with a small bathroom - shower is a bit tight, if, like me, you like to splash around. Access in and out is with a key and electronic tag making it so easy to come and go.

Although we didn't need it, I think aircon would be needed in the summer.

Location is excellent, very central and within walking distance to the old quarter. Met quickly on arrival by a very friendly and pleasant host who gave us lots of advice and tips about where to eat and what to do in Donostia. Very clean and spacious and tea making facilities with access to a shared kitchen. A motorized fan in each room which is very handy.

When we arrived we rang a bell to grab the host's attention but it didn't work and we had no internet on our phones so could not call the number provided on the sheet. Just be aware you need to let the host know when you are arriving (which I neglected to do and then ran into this slight issue above) in advance as the host may be at another property five mins away and if you are unfortunate like us your phone will not work in Spain.

Ideal location with the San Martin market over the road plus walking distance to shops and Old City. The microwave and bar fridge in the room were great facilities; also the lovely cosy balcony on which to eat or drink . The bed provided a most comfortable sleep.

One of us didn't like the rolled pillow; annoyingly the apartment above made noise at night time.

I love the place closed to the center and beach at same time .Also very efficient in terms of cleaning and friendliness .Also want to mentioned the great service and friendship of Stefka after been staying 8 nights and always helpful -Flexible and hard working

Although the staff weren't as 100% available as the other Pension I stayed at, there were clear instructions about how to reach them if they were 5mins away at another property. And they were all super friendly and helpful. I found the place welcoming and had a decent view out from my window. Everything nice and clean, central location in town. Slept very well - due to comfy bed and perfect heating/temperature? Good value for money.

Would be nice if there were a slightly larger reception area so one can have a little break from the bedroom.

We spent very little time in what was a small room that had everything we needed for sleeping and showering. Location is right in the centre of things and we felt it was safe and ideal for a short 2 night stay. Staff were super friendly and helpful and stored our bags after checkout as we had an evening flight.

The walls are a little thin so you can hear your neighbours.

Location is superb. It's only 5 minutes to the beach and 10 minutes to the central bus station. A good city centre supermarket is just across the street. A lot of restaurants, café, and bakeries are nearby. The stuff is super nice. Juan gave me a lot of useful information during the check-in. The room is great as a pensión. It even has fridge, microwave, plates and cutlery in room, making the stay very comfortable. The bathroom is not large, but has everything I need. Everything works perfectly.

They managed two guest houses. Sometimes there is no stuff in Urkia. In that case you'll have to ring a timber to contact them.

The reception and the check in was easy and they were very helpful about visiting San Sebastian. The pension was situated in a busy area (shopping mall), but the room was quiet. The pension was near to the see too. The room was clean, well equipped: microwave, plates, cutlery. We found it very thoughtful accommodating that way the guests who just wanted to eat a bite at home. (tea and coffee making facility was also in the main hall) We could recommend this pension for a longer stay too in the town.

Very clean, amazing location, many nice little touches like coffee, dishes, microwave and fridge to make your stay just that much more comfortable. Bed, towels and shower were very nice. Also a room air conditioner. Very good for a two star Pension!

The walls were a bit thin. We could hear the person above walking around. And people in other rooms speaking.
