The restaurant could improve. For the city standards the dinner was way below standard. The only menu available was the festival menu. The food had been prepared hours before. Shriveled vegetables lack of flavour.

I have been a long-time client and have seen changes over the years, mostly good. Of course, the location cannot be beat although it felt on the busy weekend like there was no calm place to sit outside- between the bike path and the promenade, it was like the autoroute!

Our arrival was chaotic, with no help from the solitary bellman with our luggage. When a reservation is made for 8 people it would have been expected to have some service for getting to our rooms. instead, it felt like a check-in for a cheap hotel. The reception staff was not very helpful and shrugged their shoulders when I made a comment.

They did not give us the room with the beds we requested and had paid for! Nor could they move us to another room upon our request! We were given a discount to compensate but money sometimes is NOT what one needs!

Resturant unavailable to guests for duration whilst a conference was on. we’re not advised prior and no alternative given, unfortunately due to extreme rain we did not choose to go out in evenings and had room service and bar service which was sub standard for the quality of hotel.

The room was beautiful and the view incredible. It’s in the perfect location. I would definitely recommend and intend to stay again!

It would have been perfect if not for the air conditioning. We struggled to get the room to a low enough temperature to sleep comfortably. When I reported it I was told it was working perfectly. I had to persist twice more before reception accepted it wasn’t functioning properly. Even then the advice was to keep the patio doors and curtains closed - which kind of defeated the object of the not insignificant supplement we’d paid for the (incredible) sea view!

We had excellent service from the concierge, Leira. She recommended and booked a steak restaurant which gave us one of the best meals we've ever had. She gave us directions to a nature reserve and was really friendly. It made our stay extra special. The staff doing valet parking were very good and helped with our heavy luggage, The location is brilliant, right by the best beach in San Sebastian. Our room was very comfortable with everything we needed. Top class

We needed better directions to drive to the hotel entrance. There is a complicated one way system.

Room was a small suite with an excellent view onto the beach/bay from both rooms Bathroom and amenities were great Closet space was more than adequate with two closets plus drawers plus a closed door for safe etc. The location was outstanding!

wish they had a spa but La Perla down the street is excellent and offers a 10% to hotel guests Air conditioning could have been better but the weather was unusual at the time we visited and due to climate change getting the air conditioning to be cool enough for all guests in a larger hotel could become a bit costly for hotel owners.

Stunning breathtaking views from the sea view room in a perfect location along the beach, and close to old town. A stunning building modernised tastefully, fantastic bright modern rooms and clean comfortable beds. Bathroom had very handy mirrored walls and robes/slippers.

Messaged hotel prior to stay about whether they could do anything special for Husbands 50th birthday we were celebrating, got a standard response. Then nothing when arrived. We stayed at a hotel in Italy, same star, same month and they left chocolates, wine and then a chocolate on the pillow every night. Its the little things that can make a difference. Its was a good stay but would have been amazing if they had just left a little touch.

Perfect position in the centre of town and by the beach. Very helpful staff. Private parking under hotel. Excellent concierge service, very friendly and informative. Breakfast good.

Location, size of room and view from balcony, bathroom was beautiful and functional and the best hair dryer ever!

Coffee with the room was powder so not great. Bathrobes need to be retired- they have reached their expiration dates (as have the towels) No gym or spa- hotel has an arrangements with a nearby facility (La perla) so a bit misleading
