Great location, just by the sea but not a huge amount around there. Nice quiet pool area.

Rooms are small and sparsely furnished. Has a look of a budget hotel. If you're planning to spend a good deal of time in Palma you'll rack up a good deal of cost with taxis but the local bus isn't bad. The location, close to the beach is great but on the other side its definitely not the ritzyest part of town!

The hotel was very nice in a very nice location close to the beach. Not very close to Palma (you need to take a bus), but all you need is around: Restaurants, bars, supermarkets. At the time we were there the swimming pool was open and it was a very nice swimming pool. Additionally to that they have a roof top terrace bar that was wonderful with a nice view to the beach. The rooms were standard for the price we paid, but we loved the small balcony watching to the swimming pool.

Be aware that due this hotel is close to the airport you will hear the noise of the planes. Probably it's also connected that the noise isolation of our room was not the best and we heard not only the planes but other guests.

The location of Hotel Portofino is great. Beach is less than a minute away and there are plenty of options for food and drinks that stay open close to midnight. Young group of staff who are really helpful and energetic!

The two things I didn't like too much were: 1. There is no parking facilities for the hotel and although it's free parking in the streets, due to an event on the beach we were not able to find any parking spot for over an hour. In the end we parked in a mall parking which was almost 2 kms away. 2. Even though we had booked an oceanfront room, the view of the beach was partly obscured due to buildings. But overall, none of these were a deal breaker and I would like to visit again!

Very lovely staff who were friendly and helpful. Great location for being close to the beach and although the airport is not far away it didn’t bother us. A 1 hour gentle walk into Palma to the Cathedral. The breakfast was good and the food was constantly refilled. The terrace bar was nice to sit and watch the sunset with a good view towards the City.

very close to the beach and sea. staff were extremely helpful and friendly. comfortable beds with 3 pillows provided . cleaned daily with new towels provided. hire beach towels for refundable 10 euros . lovely stay

Roof top bar pics need to be updated as high tables and stools . Also as others have mentioned really struggled with plug sockets . 3 sharing a room with only one socket in the bathroom and one at the side of one bed but behind the cabinet which had to be pulled out to get to the socket. as we were leaving then discovered an extension cable above the mini fridge which was in a cupboard. could have done with a sign saying sockets here .

Fantastic location! Supermarket located 30 seconds walk one way & Beautiful Sandy beach located 30 seconds the other way from hotel door. The hotel staff are lovely, great roof top area to watch sunsets, before strolling down the beach for the last of the sunset colours in the sky. The shower was fantastic - great pressure, the best I’ve had on holiday! The pillows OMG I never wanted to get out of bed - so comfy. Great restaurant behind hotel called Dolores- definitely worth a visit for drinks & Dolores Burger. Great icecream stand moments from beach front (2mins walk from hotel). Great area to walk around - beautiful gardens, feels safe (as a woman travelling alone)

One way to improve would be having a hotel “happy hour” perhaps on the roof bar or pool bar - where hotel guests can get 2 for 1 cocktails at a certain time - as the bar areas were lacking people and atmosphere (drinks over priced/ no incentive) a Happy Hour would change this! & create a better atmosphere, more people & more people buying drinks/cocktails rather than going elsewhere

Generally we enjoyed our stay in the hotel. The unexpected sunset view from our balcony pleasantly surprised us. Additionally, the beach's proximity was a definite plus and worth the short walk to enjoy. While we didn't have the opportunity to try the pool, it seemed well-maintained and inviting from a distance. The staff, to their credit, were friendly, polite, and helpful during our stay.

On the downside, we found the shower area to be disappointingly small, making it challenging to move comfortably without occasionally elbowing the wall or shower door (my wife and I are of average size). This aspect might be quite inconvenient for some guests. Moreover, all faucets were quite noisy. Throughout the day and night, we could hear whenever someone from the other rooms next to ours used the taps, which disrupted our peace and quiet. My wife had to resort to using earplugs to get a decent night's sleep.

The staff were so helpful. Breakfast was great. The pool was relaxing and there was not the usual fight for a sun lounger! The location was brilliant, 1 minute stroll to the sea, lots of amenities supermarket, pharmacy etc. Also lots of restaurants & bars that were busy in a good way ie. not noisy & rowdy.

The only small criticism is that there was a lack of useable sockets in the room to charge phones etc. and the bathroom could do with a bigger shelf for toiletries. The pictures of the rooftop could also do with an update it looks like it is a solarium rather than a bar

Everything was great. The location is excellent. 10 minutes by car to the center. 40 minutes from alcudia or santanyi. There is also a nice beach in front of the hotel. The room was super clean. The beds were comfortable and the towels were nice and soft. There is a rooftop bar and a restaurant. The pool area was great. Everyone was extremely polite and spoke good English. The gentleman at the bar was very helpful and polite and even served us when it was late at night, always with a smile. The shrimp pasta is very tasty and the pizza margarita was also delicious. Definitely try those two. Overall, great service from the restaurant and bar. I literally have nothing bad to say about the hotel.

The only negative I can think of is the parking. There is no parking at the hotel and you have to search around the neighborhood. But I tried really hard to find anything negative to say about the place. Everything was excellent.
