Myself and my family stayed for 4 nights early October. It was my first time staying in the Blaumar Hotel despite being in Salou several times. It was a great location, 2-3 mins walk from main shopping/Bar/restaurant area and was directly across the road from the beach. The hotel itself was newly renovated and was excellent quality. The rooms were very clean and spacious. We chose bed and breakfast and the choice for breakfast was fantastic. I’d highly recommend a stay in the Blaumar Hotel. We’ll definitely be back.

An odd time throughout our stay we got a bad smell in out bathroom.

Excellent location, right beside the beach. Really nice pool although it could have stayed open a bit later than it did - maybe this is because it was off peak but there were still plenty of people using the pool. Good breakfast selection and the staff were lovely. The room was nice and big and really bright and airy.

The fruit at the breakfast was not a great selection and often not ripe. The spa was cold - the jacuzzi and sauna etc seemed to have been turned off when I had booked to use it and the person who looks after the spa had gone home so there was nothing that could be done. The room was two single beds which were slight different which wasn't as comfortable as a double bed.

Excellent location. Modern feel and very clean. Good room service. Restaurant very good. Limited choice of food on offer comparatively, but that is not a negative critique. Main foods on offer are mostly cooked to order which is a positive contribution to the hotels ambition to achieve limited waste.

Pool on the small side so probably not ideal if staying in high season. Member of our party being instructed to return to the table when leaving the restaurant on our penultimate evening to retrieve the drinks bill in full view and earshot of other guests to prove no wrongdoing. Embarrassing for guest and unprofessional conduct from senior staff member. Reported to reception which prompted apology but no further action.

very good location and pretty modern rooms and interior, a staff speaks English, pretty good and diverse food for breakfast and dinner, an enough quantity of sunbeds in the pool area. ps. I can recommend to book a Bus Plana excursions to Montserrat at the bus station, it's pretty cheap (40 euro per person) and good organized

we can complain only to a canteen - they have a terrible system for waiting a free table for dinner/breakfast: you can't just go inside canteen and sit at a table you choose, you need wait in the queue while stuff found you a table and invite you. so if you come to dinner past 9PM with 100% probability you will wait in the long queue at least 20 minutes.

The location is very good, close to the beach. The size of the room is excelent, as well as the size of the bed. The mattresses are comfoortable, we slept very well. We catched a heat wave during our stay and the air conditioning system worked perfectly. The cleaning was also very good. The food for the breakfast and dinner was satisfacatory, with a lot of choices, with fresh vegetables and fruits, freshly prepared eggs in the morning (omlettes and fried), fish and see food available in the evening.

WI-FI was quite unstable. The parking places are not enough for all the guests during the high season. For reservations made through Booking is not possible the book in advance a parking place, only for reservations directly made on hotel site is possible this...which it seems a bit discriminatory. We had to pay for the safe (5 euros/night)...not a problem to pay...but was nowhere specified this...not even in the room.

I have to say, the Hotel Blaumar and its entire team were incredible and exceeded our expectations from a beach hotel break. The facilities, food and staff were faultless and I would wholeheartedly recommend it as a perfect family hotel. Was spotless at all times and the buffet breakfast was the best we have experienced as a family. Only did one night for dinner as we ate out every night but that was also extremely good. There may be cheaper hotels in Salou, but in our opinion not one that is better value, for rooms size, staff, cleanliness and overall feel. We generally don't holiday in the same place twice, but if we did, we would be straight back. Thank you team Blaumar

Very clean and the location was perfect. The master bed is huge and very comfortable. The balcony was big - we had a sea view and it was lovely to sit and read my book on in the afternoons! Check in and check out was very smooth and quick.

A bigger pool would be good or perhaps a children’s pool as well as the pool that is there. Also, it felt like the pool water got colder as our stay progressed! A wider selection of breakfast food would be good too. Also a paper menu of lunch food for the pool side bar because we couldn’t download the menu from the QR code so we didn’t know what was available to eat there.

Amazing location, right beside the beach , in a nice area that’s not too close to the strip, so it’s not too loud or rowdy, it’s about a 5 min walk to a really nice area with restaurants and stuff. It has a really nice pool area & the food was really good quality in the hotel buffet restaurant, great value! Our room was huge as well, staff were so accommodating and nice! We checked out on the Sunday at 12 but our flight wasn’t until that night and they gave us towels for the beach or pool and then we were able to shower with fresh towels again later that night and have dinner there before heading to the airport, so that was very handy !
