We chose this hotel as our last spot in our trip therefore we were looking for some lazy time, nice views, location, beaches. It had it all. We had a half board option, variaty of food was big, taste good.

few things that could be improved though: - missing information about hotel facilities, evening shows etc. Reception could be more active sharing information with new guests. - rooms are really badly sound proved - you can hear it all :) - even though there was a vast selection of food, for main dishes you had to wait for them to be prepared so you stand in a queue and queues are long. - the chefs that worked with the stove or grill were inexperienced - they would literally serve you raw meet, fish etc. If you want to have your meal well cooked you have observe them doing their job.

Stayed there one week in the middle of May2023 , sea view room turned out to be very good choice . Amazing view , helpful staff , it has also inside swimming pool and gym and so on ... Returning end of July : ) information for those, who have never visited Salou: photo i added , is actually taken from my balcony !!

First negative thing was, when we got the room, it had unbelievably terrible old ugly towels, but already next day after cleaning those were replaced with nice ones. And about eating in restaurant : yes it can be very noisy.

Best hotel in Spain I have ever stayed. Place is spotless and tidy. Staff friendly and very helpful starting from reception to room cleaning staff. They are working very hard to make our stay in a hotel a special experience. Madeline from reception was very patient and helped me with every single query - right person in right place. Food was absolutely delicious, huge choice and a quality like in a very good restaurant. Staff in restaurant and bar very helpful and friendly. Will be back again for 100%. Great location - wonderful view. Amazing place!

Nice hotel with lovely views of the sea from the pool/bar/dining area. Room was basic but clean, had air conditioning and a fridge and bed was a proper double (not two singles pushed together!). Breakfast buffet had a large selection and reception staff were very friendly. Had nightly entertainment in the bar but definitely more aimed at kids/families than couples. Lovely beach just a 5 minute walk away with a nice beach bar.

Only a few small negatives really, a lot of extras required deposits (e.g. kettle for the room, parasol to use by the pool) which I feel could have just been included. A bit further from Salou centre than we expected, too - about a 35 minute walk or €10 taxi. Plates at breakfast were sometimes dirty, and I wouldn't bother with lunch/snacks by the pool as we waited nearly an hour for chicken nuggets and chips - you're better off heading out for food. Other than that, we had a lovely stay!

The staff are amazing, they work so hard. Lovely Vicky on reception and Damaris in the bar, but really all the staff deserve naming. The food, there is so much choice, but a mention for the stir fry is brilliant and the pizza are both cooked fresh. The drinks are self- service so what more do you want. One of the Best hotels we've ever stayed at.

No English TV, I know you don't go away to watch TV, but it's nice to catch up on what is happening in the world. The hotel did say, they are having problems with British TV, but there was no problems with every other nationality of tv. The hotel is remote, if your not all inclusive then there isn't any local bars to go to, you will have to catch a bus and go into Salou. There is no transfer drop off at this hotel, you get dropped off at the end of the road and you have to walk down to the hotel. The real problem is when your leaving after your holiday, you have to make your way back up the road for your transfer.

Hotel was about a 20 minute walk from the town, beautiful location right by the ocean. A little far and hilly to walk for some, but it worked well for us. The hotel was clean and staff were helpful. The hotel is beautiful in communal areas and the rooms were a good size, clean and with daily room service. We managed to get seats by the pool although at times lots of towels left by other residents saving deck chairs for hours at a time and no one in the seats. Breakfast was good and most nights dinner was fine although we opted to eat out a few nights.

The only real criticism was the food- whilst there was variety, quality on occasion seemed poor and at times repetitive. The dining room was very busy and at times overcrowded, with empty tables waiting to be cleaned and reset but not enough staff to do so, leading to a wait for a table. On one occasion staff only took a drinks order for one person at the table and left with no apparent reason. Very small soft drinks (200ml) at dinner. Plates at times were dirty and lots of queueing for food put me off. It would be helpful if other residents did not reserve deck chairs for hours at a time.

Myself & six family members recently stayed at the Best Negresco & we had a wonderful time. The location was great. The sea view from the hotel & pool was fabulous, with amazing sunsets. The food was good and the chefs who cooked the food were great. Ismael & Alba provided excellent service in the restaurant. The bar staff during the day and night were excellent. They helped to make the holiday special. David, Antonio, Jose, Damaris, Eric & Alejandro deserve special recognition for their excellent customer service. They worked so hard, were understaffed and always had a smile on their face. The drinks were of very good quality. You could not fault them. Also a special mention to Bea, Sebas & Mae…..they were such great entertainers & also made our holiday extra special. They were very friendly & worked hard to include everyone & make it a fun evening. The quality of the entertainment in the bar was great & for the first time ever, we all stayed in the Hotel every night. Bingo, dancing, music…we loved how it was so varied & not typically English. The room had all you needed, our sea view was well worth the extra money. The lady who serviced our room, 1227, was excellent. The towels were the only thing that let the room down. They were very old, looked dirty and marked at times. The reception guy in the evening was very helpful and always had a smile on his face. The daytime receptionist were not so. As they are the first people you meet, they did not give the hotel a good impression. Unfortunately, four out of seven had a virus and were quite sick for a couple of days. When I advised one of the day receptionist, she was not concerned and said to wait until 10am for some bottled water for my family!!! I understand it was not the hotels fault but receptionist could have been more helpful. Jet2 rang a couple of times to see if everyone was ok, which was great.

Excellent hotel, very spacious room with good size terrace, wide variety of food for breakfast and dinner. We hade great view. Due to location of the Hotel highly recommend to reserve either B+D or all inclusive. The pool with perfect view and beautiful terrace in the morning to have breakfast while Nataly is serving you (while you enjoy morning coffee on the terrace). Special thanks to Nataly. Although we did not use pool during our stay much , because we were in love with the beaches nearby,it was always crowded. Through walk path beaches are connected to other beaches nearby. No to be missed. Take a walk, enjoy. .... Staff that cleans the room are very detail and we enjoyed our stay. The food is great and tasty and the chef made some great see food during our stay.

Wifi is not on the level of all othe services of this Hotel. Each floor should have a separate wifi server so that guests have no problems. The best receiving signal is at the reception. We had situation of non being able to make a call, just to text. During dinner for deserts we did not once have ice cream made by the chef, although variety of the sweets was fine, we expect to have made ice cream as option at least in 3 -4 flavours.

The wifi was very sparodic The reception staff were not as helpful as I would have liked. They ordered a taxi to airport for me but twice the wrong size taxi arrived (there was 5 of us and a 4 seater arrived) even though I'd said there was 5 of us. We also had issues on the first night as our neighbours were drunk, loud and abusive to us. My daughter sustained a bruise from something they threw at us over the balcony. We asked to move rooms at reception but they said no and that they would have a word with them instead. They did. But it was awkward for us the rest of the holiday as the neighbours knew we had complained about them.

If you book a sea view it's well worth the extra as the views are amazing and the hotel is in a great location. We had a lovely spacious room with comfortable beds and plenty of pillows and quiet air conditioning. The meals were great with plenty of choice and a different theme every evening. The pool area was good with sun all day, sunbeds were rather close together but this means there are plenty to go around. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely return.

My only suggestion for improvement would be for tea/coffee making facilities to be provided in rooms. We were able to borrow a kettle from reception but only for a couple of days, it would have been better if they were provided as standard. This was a very small issue though.
