A standard family 4 star hotel. I think it's important to recognise that 4 star family hotels tend to be more "well-used" than couple hotels. Reception and breakfast areas were immaculately clean. Great pool areas in the hotel and a splash park just opposite. Our little one (2 years old) loved every minute poolside. Dinner was delicious every evening with something for everyone. Salads, roasted vegetables, potato based dishes, hot meats/fish, vegetarian options like risotto or cannelloni. They also have a kids buffet with things like nuggets and chips. Breakfast was ok, but the beans and sausages were cold every morning. Plenty of other options to choose from like pancakes, fruit, breads, cheeses and hams etc. Entertainment was great - our little one loved it. There are a few small but beautiful beaches just opposite the hotel- would highly recommend.

Our room didn't get fully cleaned during our stay . They make up the beds once per week and only change towels every few days (we were made aware of this at check-in). The hotel is a sustainable hotel, but staying with little ones, a lot of sand etc builds up on the floors and it becomes quite uncomfortable after a week in an uncleaned room. The noise levels are quite awful. The hotel is full of young families, who tend to stay up until the early hours and then come back to their rooms and slam doors/move beds etc. The walls seem to be paper thin and so everything can be heard. The pull out bed is very uncomfortable and squeaky, so we ended up using the sofa as our additional bed.

The hotel is spotless and very modern. The rooms are very clean and spacious if you opt for the 1 bedroom. The staff are all excellent and despite the language barrier always happy to help! The new splash pool is also fab for children and very safe so parents can relax a little.

We found the children's kids club animation a little poor. We had been before and found it much better and lots more happening during the day and night. It was sad that they brought the time of the mini disco forward and only have 1 now. This means you are pushed to get dinner and out in time. The adult entrainment was really poor 😢 Such a shame for a great hotel!!!

We loved the pool with the slides, the entertainment was great, could do abit more entertainment pool side where the slides are for the younger children. We missed abit of the entertainment during the day as we couldn't find what was on and what times. Breakfast was great,

The thing we didnt like the most was the dinner selection It wasn't the greatest and we ate out for the rest of the holiday. One of the slides was very hard for the children to gondown they kept getting stuck. Would be best to maybe look over it and fix the problem.

We liked the rooms and the food there was an excellent variety always really fresh and very well organised breakfast and dinner, half board was excellent and location was very good for buses to all areas near a plana bus depo for excursions great staff in there, monserratt is well worth a visit if your kids are older, pools are great loads of room and, plenty of sun beds no problem getting one any time of day no need to book beds. Fantastic place for primary school kids fantastic night time entertainment fir kids and a couple of times in the week for adults as well. We had a pool view opposite the entertainment stage don't book pool view if you want an early night although music etc is finished by 12 mn but we didn't mind. Air con excellent..

Beds are really hard, reception staff very curt and didn't share information easily had to be asked about everything towels pool times wi fi and safe operation no instructions for any of these in the rooms, maybe it was a language thing...WiFi was poor during our stay ...May have been weather related ..only English speaking channels on TV are CNN and BBC world news ...everything else is dubbed to Spanish and picture was poor...nothing much for older kids late teens ...but there is a teen den...not very many teenagers there though so the only reason i would not choose this hotel again due to being more geared for younger kids and mine are late teens

The room was spacious and the beds a good size but the mattress's were a little hard. Drink prices were very reasonable and not overpriced like some hotels. The staff were excellent throughout in the restaurant, bar and reception. Buffet food was excellent for a Spanish hotel and everything you could want for breakfast. Two very large pools which looked lovely. It is a very family oriented hotel which we knew about so no problem but at the time of year we went it was mainly babies and toddlers. As a couple we would not go in high season but chose it for the location and convenience of half board whist travelling home to Southern Spain.

The pool was very cold so could have been heated in mid September. Parking quite expensive considering the high price of the hotel. Entertainment was very average. Walk in showers rather than a bath would have been better.

This is a fabulous hotel with top class facilities. The staff were amazing, especially Sebastian the bar waiter and Alice and Jordi in entertainment. The breakfast and dinner were delicious with lots of choice. Kids club and mini disco were a big hit. Loved that the pool didn't open until 10am and people queued for beds. Bus stop nearby if you want to explore further. The beach is nearby and there are lovely bars and restaurants within 700metres. It's quiet and ideal for families looking to stay away from busy night life areas.

No inflatables including swimming rings allowed in the pool.

Upper deck pool was exceptional - kids loved it (so did I) and we spend most of our time there. When not there, the kids clubs were excellent mostly dude to the fantastic staff involved. They were friendly and enthusiastic and couldn't have done more to make the kids experience better. We had half board, so breakfast and dinner. The buffet was sensational - both breakfast and dinner had quality and variety in equal measure and we looked forward to each meal. Our room was also top class, we had a 2 bed apt as there were 5 of us and it was perfect. Balcony was a sun trap with great views and a table and chairs outside as well as in for easy lunches. We were concerned about being a bit out from Salou as we had small kids but it was fine and we got a taxi in both times for about 12€. We found that we rarely wanted to leave the Mediterranean Village which I think is the best endorsement. There are beaches close by and some shops and supermarkets nearby so you don't need to venture far. We are already thinking about a return journey at the end of the summer. Ps - forgot about the evening entertainment - was amazing - table quiz, Michael Jackson tribute and African acrobatics were the highlight. Pps - astroturf around the pool area was genius - way less falling for the kids as they ran around to go on the slides again and again and again and again :-D

Wifi wasn't great but the complex is so big its understandable - better things to do than be on phones or tablets anyway though.

Hotel was much better than your average 4* Spanish Hotel and we have been to many! Desk staff very efficient and polite. In fact All the staff were very good. We had a room with a seperate lounge and a large balcony overlooking the sea. There were a large number of families with young children but this did not really impact on our hotel experience. We had a hire car and found parking fairly easy in the roads around the Hotel but there was also a very regular local bus service into Salou throughout the day. The bus stop literally yards from the Hotel. On arrival the voucher for welcome cocktails along with a small box of chocolates was also a nice touch. The pools were well used throughout the day but there were plentiful loungers for people to use to avoid any congestion.

The food at breakfast and dinner was presented very well and mostly good quality however became a little samey by day 6, Other than that we would be happy to return at another time,

Pool and facilities were great. The gym has enough equipment to keep you tipping away while on holidays. The staff were so nice from the cleaners to the bar staff.

Music tends to get blared throughout the day. The evening activities are extremely loud and go on until 11 so if you have a pool view it can get loud on the balcony . Saying that the doors are sound proofed but it nice to have a relaxing drink on the balcony. This was only a minor inconvenience.

Pool and facilities are great, there are plenty of toilets available every single corner of hotel which is defo handy for kids. Staff are welcoming and ready to help, we had a late flight back and were allowed to enjoy the pool post check out, we were even given extra towels

Food has some limitations for adults, in the other hand its great to kids. Cleaning could’ve been a bit better under the beds.
