Hotel Boutique Elvira Plaza

Unbeatable location right in the heart of Santa Cruz with views of the Giralda. This was our second time in Doña Elvira Plaza and most probably not our last. After two years of Covid and three forced cancelations we finally managed to be back in Seville again with a 5 year gap since our last visit. The Semana Santa was great but was very busy this year. People obviously had some catching up to do. Our junior suite was great with a wonderful terrace.

In our previous three visits to Seville we never booked breakfast in our hotel but chose to eat out instead every morning. This time we pre-booked breakfast but unfortunately it didn't quite meet our expectations. The staff was very friendly in dealing with our complaint and reimbursed our prepaid breakfast straight away. They handled it very professionally.

I love the square where the hotel is located. The square is small and covered in trees. My room was on the first floor looking onto the square with the lovely orange trees filling my view. A glass of sparkling wine served on your arrival. The room is small but perfectly anointed with what you need. Bathroom is small but a great shower! Comfy linens. Always bottled water available in the room which is a big plus. Loved the restaurant tables right outside on the square ...made for a great place for an afternoon drink and relax during the siesta hours in the afternoon.

Pillows were a bit flat..needed several for a nights sleep. The square was a bit noisy during the day and made for keeping my balcony doors closed most of the time...but the early morning was wonderful with the doors open and fresh air coming in the room while I had my tea and at late night after dinner was over.

Location is just perfect, right in the historic area of Santa Cruz in one of the most picturesque square, perfect to live the real Andaluse experience. We were given a free upgrade to Hola Hotel - next by, literally attached to Hotel Elvira - and we honestly couldn’t be happier for that! Staff was incredibly polite and professional at al times during our stay, nicely engaging with us being very helpful with any sort of request. They never missed an opportunity to greet us while passing by the lobby area!

It can sometimes be noisy during the night

The location was great: close to the Catedral and Real Alcazar and to lots of bars and restaurants. Pedestrianised area so no cars which was very nice. Room was very comfortable and very clean. The terrace had a great view of the Giralda. The square was nice with orange trees. The air con worked very well and the double glazed windows made it very quiet. The bed was firm and really comfortable. The staff were polite, helpful and charming; I felt we could ask them anything. There is a sister hotel 30 seconds walk round the corner for breakfast, but other places locally to go as well. We had a great time in Seville and would definitely stay again at this hotel.

Great location for all attractions. Situated in a lovely square.

Nowhere in the room to store anything, very limited space. A very small narrow table for kettle, cup & saucers etc. The room could have been better designed. A full length mirror would have been good there was plenty of wall to put one. Attention to detail when cleaning. For the price, dissapointing.

Great location, spotlessly clean and great room.

Mirror would be good in the bedroom as well as the bathroom as we could then get ready at the same time quicker. Receptionist was difficult to understand and she found it difficult to understand us too, as a result she couldn't really help with our questions about the area etc.

The room had a balcony that overlooked a square full of orange trees. It was quiet and secluded. However, just around the corner was the cathedral which is so impressive. I loved the sound of the bells in the morning, very atmospheric. We went out for breakfast everyday to try different places.

I got exactly what I wanted so I have no complaints.

Gorgeous hotel in the heart of the old quarter of Seville. Staff were friendly and attentive. The breakfast was superb and the terraces sublime. Welcome Cava generously offered. Very centrally located and cathedral bells not too intrusive. Would recommend his hotel highly.

Very central location in pretty square full of orange trees.

No storage to talk about. There was only a small corner with few clothes hangers. No draw space available at all. The reception was not manned all the time although for queries the sister hotel was available just around the corner.

Quiet location. No cars. Pretty plaza outside. Very close to main attractions. Several excellent restaurants 2 mins away. Property had lift & rooftop terrace with sunloungers & attractive view.

Antiquated aircon. No bar. No food service in property. Breakfast taken in hotel around corner (poor quality)
