Hotel Casa 1800 Sevilla

The location was amazing. The architecture and interior design was fabulous. The air conditioning was so powerful and much needed in the high temperatures of Seville in August. The pool area was very relaxing with amazing views of the Cathedral. The staff were so friendly and helpful especially the cleaning staff . The lovely of gesture of leaving gifts in the room each day was such a nice touch. We also received a bottle of cava on arrival. Such a lovely stay.

Definitely more parasols needed in the pool area.

Amazing location, perfect for accessing the cathedral, Alcazar and tower and the main 2 shopping streets. I think Sevilla is my favourite city in Spain so far! Hotel was beautiful inside, clean, and comfortable. Afternoon tea is complimentary and there is a great view from the rooftop pool deck to the cathedral and tower.

I did specifically request a quiet room in my booking. I was allocated room 1 which is on the ground floor right next to the breakfast room and through which everyone passes to get to their rooms and the rest of the hotel. Therefore it was NOT quiet. I could hear kids screaming and cutlery rattling during most hours of the day. Luckily I brought my Sleep Buds (ear plugs) which play white noise so could mask most of the sound. Without these I would absolutely have complained. The other issue is that wifi doesnt reach the pool deck. At least - I could only get it on 1 out of 3 days there.

location is excellent, please remind taxis to take you all the way to the hotel, otherwise you will have a long walk with luggage. Staff is very professional and friendly. Try to negotiate for a free breakfast (usually not included with booking.com reservations). Water is free from the hotel, save your money for souvenirs. Free water bottles sometimes run out downstairs, can get from pool area upstairs. Location is excellent, the main strip of shops/restaurants less then 100 ft away. Staff was very helpful with flamenco show and taxi bookings. Also very knowledgeable of the area.

nice place, rooms are older but this was a converted family home. rooms are renovated nicely, just not a lot of extra room.

Some of the employees . The overnight employee left the front desk when we arrived at 12:55 am from a long day out. He locked the front door , did not answer the 10 phone calls we made to the hotel. We knocked on side windows and doors to no avail. After standing outside for almost 20 minutes with no plan as to what to do next, he finally appeared to open the door. Then I asked him for a blanket (in Spanish) and he brings me a sheet. Mind you, I am Hispanic so there was no language barrier to use as an excuse. I would also recommend leaving additional soap bars in the room when there are 3 guests in a suite .

I’ve been traveling around Europe for 2.5 months! This hotel was one of my most favorite places to stay! Any time I stay in Sevilla again you can be sure I’ll be staying here. The cathedral is steps away so you can hear the glorious bells ring! You are in the heart of Old Town Sevilla where are all the action and fun is. The staff are amazing. The daily complimentary happy hour is phenomenal. The room and furniture are so beautiful and comfortable! I want my house to loom like this! This hotel is 15 years old. The property belongs to a rich Spanish family that converted their home to a hotel 15 years ago. Our 2 day visit was exquisite!

You have to park in the parking garage 10 minute walk away and get a taxi to pick you up with your luggage as regular cars are not permitted in the old town center for obvious reasons. $5-$8 for taxi so it’s worth it!

Hotel Casa 1800 is an extremely lovely boutique hotel located in the centre of the old town of Seville. We had a junior suite with jacuzzi and it was a very spacious comfortable room. The breakfast was nice and it was wonderful to have afternoon tea available. The free bottled water was also appreciated.

I asked about assistance in getting a manicure/pedicure. The hotel arranged their spa company to do it. While the young lady was very nice and did a reasonably good job, I was very disappointed to be charged 80 euros for the manicure and 60 euros for the pedicure. This was grossly overpriced for what was literally a removal of nail polish and reapplication. Also our only disappointing meal was at the restaurant the hotel recommended. Aside from these two ‘extras’ everything else about the hotel was fantastic.

the location, attention of the staff, the hotel style, nice pool, decoration of the room, good bathroom with nice hairdryer, mirrors everywhere, very clean and the rooftop is definitely worth it. the tea afternoon is a brilliant idea! and the options were great.

we didn’t have extra towels for the pool, small room, too small tv, lack of natural light in the room, and the bed mattress. nothing much you can do about the natural light but the mattress definitely needs to be changed. we can tell is old by the “sunk” in it’s middle, and we could clearly feel it and even see it from outside the bed.

The property was in the main center of all the activity in the city. I was quite impressed that we were given a room with a patio 1st floor #3 but never heard any noise from all the excitement of drunk tourists outside. Very well insulated so you can still get your good night sleep. The breakfast was excellent fresh fruits were available and the food was amazing and coffee were awesome and the service was impeccable! I will rate this hotel a 10. You can’t go wrong staying here . Highly recommend!

THE BOOKING COMPANY /AGENT OR HOTEL MUST SPECIFY THAT YOU NEED TO PARK IN PUBLIC PARKING WHICH IS 20 EUROS PER NIGHT .( THINK ITS FAIR PRICE ) TO RESOLVE THIS ISSUE I SUGGEST THAT THE HOTEL SHOULD TAKE RESPONSIBILITY AND INFORM GUEST 1 DAY PRIOR TO CHECK-IN AND EXPLAIN AND PROVIDE ADDRESS FOR ALTERNATIVE AVAILABLE PARKING LOT ! THIS WILL ONLY CREATE A POSITIVE EXPERIENCE FOR GUEST MY HUSBAND IS S CERY GOOD DRIVER BUT WHEN WE GOT LOST AND STRANDED IN VERY NARROW STREETS , OUR CAR COULD NOT BARELY FIT IN WE WERE STRESSED AND UPSET ! PLUS NOT SPEAKING THE LANGUAGE MAKES IT EVEN WORSE

The location of the hotel was perfect - we were right in the middle of everything a leisure traveler is looking for. Honestly, on a previous visit to Seville I'd been a little underwhelmed, but I think the location and quality of the Casa 1800 Seville helped rehabilitate Seville this time around and I loved every minute of the stay. The hotel opens onto a pedestrian area so there's not a pick-up/drop-off at the door, but we walked around the back of the hotel and picked up an Uber from the little plaza there, so it was quite easy. During our stay we really didn't need any transportation, as we could walk everywhere we wanted to go. The staff were very nice and helpful and I was very grateful for their recommendations for restaurants. All in all, we would 100% recommend the hotel as a great stay at a good value.

The hotel is gorgeous and perfectly located. It felt like a luxury hotel but for a very friendly price. The room was beautiful with a well-stocked mini bar, champagne, etc., and complimentary water! The hotel also had a complimentary tea service during the afternoon with all sorts of wonderful snacks and drinks. The bathroom was luxurious and had a jet tub, robes, slippers, and lovely-smelling soaps. The best part was the view of Seville from the rooftop lounge/pool. You get a perfect view of the Cathedral and a wonderful sunset spot to hear the bells toll. Definitely a must-stay!
