The hotel is beautiful and the location spectacular! I don't think I appreciated how 'up the mountain' this hotel really was and so the views and the whole ambience were beautiful. You really do feel away from everything and everyone up there. The staff were very friendly and professional. The food and drink were of a good quality. The access to the walking area in the nature park are good.

The only thing we found a little tough was there was not much choice on food and the service was very slow at busy times (took 2 hours for us to receive our meal one night).

Incredible hotel, amazing location, food and comfortable rooms. We wished we'd been able to stay longer. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was delicious and the outdoor breakfast/ lunch area was so relaxing. Really good location for hiking and we had the most beautiful sunrise which we could watch from the balcony of our room.

Amazing views (if you have the right rooms). We had excellent view of the mountains. Facilities were great, pool was clean (though cold water in April). Breakfast was very good, restaurant had lots of good choices at affordable prices. Good beer, good table wine.

After six weeks of entertaining kids and grandkids we needed some RnR. Never been before but it could not have been better. Large converted farm house on a hill looking at the mountains of the Sierras de las Nieves. Our room, 6, is a large room, simply but very comfortably furnished, two large French windows, beautiful views and a large well appointed bathroom. Lots of closet space. As ex-hoteliers we always look for cleanliness, a comfortable bed and good shower. This has it all plus more. We ate dinner outside each night. We met some locals from the nearby village of Tolox who come regularly for dinner as they claim it is the best restaurant in the region. The food, wine and service is excellent. We swam, the pool is clean, deep and has spectacular views. I could go on but just go. You will not be disappointed.

We couldn't fault the hotel at all, rustic charm. The staff were exceedingly helpful, friendly and accommodating, great facilities, beautiful location ideal for our walking holiday. Breakfast buffet was very fresh and varied. Dinner menu was varied and the food was sensational with huge portions. Great value for money and would definitely go back.

Everything. This place is one of the most dog friendly hotels you will ever stay at! The staff is lovely and incredibly accommodating. Food is also absolutely delicious. We will be back in the autumn!

what’s not to love? Charming hotel; beautiful views: perfectly quiet and relaxing and truly awesome food. We could have stayed longer just to get everything in the menu. each meal was delicious and innovative.

The location, staff and food are all amazing. A true gem of a hotel. An amazing place to stay with views that I doubt can be surpassed. Great value for money. Try the gastronomic menu, it is delicious and not expensive.

The location is superb; at the end of a tarmac road and the just country tracks to walk along and discover this beautiful mountain area. At night, with no light pollution, the sky and stars were brilliant. The hotel has a lovely atmosphere and although with modern facilities, it's feel is of stepping back a few decades. The staff were very pleasant and helpful and the food good.

A fantastic location. The atmosphere and feel of the building was nice and traditional. There were good walks from the hotel. The staff were exceptional and the pool was great.
