Everything was amazing. The room was big, very clean as well. Staff was super friendly and helpful, they even let us check in well before 4pm, which was very practical for us. Location was great, too. We were close to a lot of bars and there was a bus station right next to the hotel. The metro that took us to the airport was also just a 10-12 minute walk away from us.

The only thing i'd change about our room is the glass door of the bathroom. You could see the other person sitting on the toilet and as there was a big gap between the door and the door frame, you could hear everything. A little more privacy would make it all perfect.

The hotel was located near the park and easily accessible by public transport. The continental style breakfast had everything one could want. The beds were very big and comfortable.

The gym was very small and stuffy. It wasn’t a pleasant workout and you had to ‘reserve’ it due to limited capacity (basically only for yourself and your traveling companion). One of the machines also didn’t work. The staff could have been a bit friendlier but perhaps that was due to the language barrier. There was some elevator construction going on, but that was necessary and they were only working during the day.

The location of the hotel was perfectly situated just beyond the old city and next to the Turia gardens, also very close to a metro station and near the bus hub at Porta de la Mar: so very easy to negotiate ourselves round Valencia and further afield. Our room was spacious with comfy beds and a large, well-appointed en-suite bathroom. The kettle for making tea/coffee was a nice extra, which is not usual in Spanish hotels, in my experience.

The hotel was very modern and a bit lacking in atmosphere: it could have been anywhere. However, this very fact meant that it was clean, well-functioning and comfortable, so not really a huge problem.

We were given a great room on the 9th floor with city views. What we didn’t expect was that the room would have a terrace almost the same size as the bedroom, from which to see those views! The hotel is on a busy street but being so high up meant we weren’t disturbed by any traffic noise. It’s about a ten minute walk to the cathedral, about 20 minutes to the City of Arts and Science, and right next to the Jardín de Turia, so ideally positioned for site-seeing in Valencia. Very convenient parking right next door to the entrance.

Room was clean and excellent housekeeping. Bathroom was exceptionally clean throughout our one week stay. We had the hotel breakfast once and it was great. Hotel Dimar is in a great location. It is close to mass transit, the green zone, the Market at Colon, and many great restaurants. The hotel reception staff and housekeeping staff are all wonderful and helpful.

We expected the room to have climate control; especially AC, but most buildings in the area do not have AC. The climate control is centrally controlled and not controlled by the thermostat in the room. .

After making a mistake with the booking, we had to pay for an additional day. We were worried that this would mean we'd have to move rooms. Upon arrival, we did our best to explain our situation in our pigeon Spanish. The staff were extremely kind and worked their magic to put us in the same room for the duration of our stay. We were given lots of information about the local area as well as help with our Spanish!

We couldn't find any faults with our stay.

I think the breakfast needs improvement. What was disturbing, during our stay, was the fact that we were bothered by the cleaning staff, who made a lot of noise in the hallway, or around the door, even though we had a "do not disturb" sign on the door, I think there is no respect for the customer on their part.

Udobnost kreveta! Dva jastuka su 😍😍 Servis čišćenja je sjajan. Sve pohvale za divne ljude koji to rade. 👌 Lokacija je dobra jer se ispred nalazi autobuska stanica za pravac plaže, a i centar vam je na 20ak minuta hoda. Oko hotela ima mnogo barova i malih restorana. Osoblje hotela je ljubazno ali ne preterano. Takođe, tu vam je pored i divan mali lokal La Tienda u kojoj rade jako ljubazne žene i super je mesto za doručak i kafu.

Tanki zidovi plafona pa se moglo čuti sve šta rade ljudi iznad nas. Ali to nije bilo posebno opterećujuće jer smo mi samo spavali u sobi. Osoblje na recepciji je malo slabije sa Engleskim ali to možda i nije tako loše jer i mi treba da učimo Španski :) Bitno je da se sporazumemo dobro.

Very clean, well-maintained hotel with excellent Wi-Fi and friendly staff. Excellent location in a tree-lined avenue, equidistant to the Ciutat des Sciences and city centre, and the HOHO bus stops just over the riverbed outside the Military Museum. We hired bicycles from the hotel which were also a great way to see Valencia and get to the super beach, and there’s cycle/scooter lanes everywhere. Just round the corner are some amazing eateries, especially Swagat Indian restaurant, and there’s lots more to choose from too. The area felt very safe and we would recommend this hotel.

The breakfast was a bit expensive.

The staff were very welcoming and friendly. The room was always kept very clean and complimentary bottles of water provided which we liked. The air con was great and the room very modern. The location was fantastic, situated right in the city centre.

Not much of a negative, the only thing I would say is the lift was quite hot during the heatwave. Air con would have been good.
