Not only is there a 100-meter pool on the main grounds, but there is also a second pool, near the beach, with an ocean view. The rooms are designed in such an interesting way, with the bathrooms outdoors, yet private. This hotel was so fun, and unbeatable value.

Upon entering the room there is a familiar smell of an old building that is constantly exposed to humidity. Not much can be done about this, and the hotel is otherwise remarkably clean. It is easy to get used to and did not impact our enjoyment!

Room service takes forever. It was far from any tourists location and far from any shopping mall. So, you will have to stay put in your hotel unless you are visiting the west and north? I dont know anything abou the north. The pool lighting is very bad at night. You cant swim with those weak lights. Also not deep. Facilities is kinda old.

Really great place to spend a night or two before/ after flight. We ended our honeymoon here and it was spot on. Bed is the comfiest I’ve ever slept in. Breakfast was truly excellent, as was dinner - and finally got a good glass of wine in Sri Lanka 😅 gym is pretty good, the pool is HUGE, and whilst you can’t swim in lagoon or sea you can watch sunset form the beach opposite. Also can get a cheap Tuk Tuk into town in 20 mins to explore more restaurants etc, but honestly we mostly wanted to chill. Recommend strongly.

A bit tired in places, but for the other positives for what we needed I didn’t mind.

What a beautiful hotel and location. The pool was obviously incredible and provided a much-needed break from the heat. The food was lovely (see below for one instance) This was the best night's sleep we had on the entire trip. Highly recommend staying here, especially when traveling with people who have dietary restrictions.

The only complaint we have - A member of our group had to send their eggs back a few times because they were not fully cooked to their liking. That's it, and it was addressed and fixed. Everything else was wonderful

Wonderful value as a last minute stay before a changed flight. Spa got me in at the last minute and the massage was lovely. Beautiful, long pool. Plentiful umbrellas were perfect for rainy season late afternoon storms, or staff had a golf cart with sides to cart you back and forth. A la carte food in the restaurant was delicious!

A couple outlets in my room didn't work, but otherwise beautiful room!

breakfast was great

the room smelled like mold. Fridge was leaking water and it rained down through vent infront of mirror onto table. Looked a bit run down. Needs an upgrade. But dinning area sweet.

The breakfast was lovely with a lot to choose from and the location was a bit far from town and no beach

The staff were not very forthcoming and friendly. Reception staff should be a little bit more approachable and helpful. A smiling face goes a long way for guests

restaurant offerings were a big let down- breakfast food selection was very limited, basic and actually underwhelming restaurant food- we ordered a Sri Lankan Pork curry which was so spicy it was inedible and caused severe indigestion HOUSEKEEPING- minimal toileteries and rationing of bath towels, water bottles- had to constantly call up to get it replenished

The swimming pools were amazing!!! One has a beach view and the other is 100m long - incredible! Lovely staff, the most amazing breakfast and dinner.

The restaurant is a little quiet but not a problem!

beautiful location rooms where huge, clean and AC and WIFI worked well. lovely breakfast. and the biggest most amazing pool ever!
