The breakfast was 1000% better than any buffet breakfast I've been to in my life (that is a thousand percent, not 100). It included many types of breads and rolls, including an entire gluten free bread table with its own toaster, scrambled eggs, swedish meatballs, bacon, eggs/omelettes cooked to order, hard boiled eggs, soft boiled eggs, lots of whole fruits, a yogurt bar, a dairy free yogurt bar, a refrigerator full of other store bought yogurts, espresso, lots of tea selections including loose teas, juices, lunch meats and sliced cheeses, other cheeses and more! It's an indoor walk to the airport check-in. Steak salad at the restaurant is an excellent choice. The vegie burger, regular burger and vegan nachos were all very good as well. Staff was friendly, professional and courteous. Good blackout curtains. Would definitely return if we fly into/out of Gothenburg.

Fantastic stay for 1 night as we arrived very late at airport. Super friendly staff. Very homely feel in reception, restaurant and the room itself. Very clean. Bonus to find shampoo, conditioner, skin lotion as well as a kettle, mugs and teabags in the room. The breakfast was amazing with a wide range of different foods, really didn't expect that much choice and the food was all fresh and well cooked. We all ate far too much. Superb!

Having to work out that the room key card also works the elevator and the lighting in the room. It really wasn't an issue for us at all as it felt like a challenge we all got involved in trying to solve but it may be a good idea to explain this for guests. Also didn't know which floor our room was on. Very minor issues but worth mentioning.

In my experience, airport hotels are "good enough", but Scandic Landvetter exceeded my expectations. Just minutes away from the airport (the two are connected by a corridor), it had everything we needed. The hotel was modern, clean, had friendly staff, a restaurants/bar, and a small marketplace to get some chips or soft drinks. The room was comfortable, the bathroom was big, and all we had to do was sleep! It was a room with no windows, which is a strange concept to me, but it's not unusual in Sweden (quite a few hotels had options for window-less rooms). We were only there for a night so this did not matter to us. What I really liked was that they serve breakfast starting at 4am!! Since we had to catch a 7am flight, this was a great start to the day. We left with a satisfied tummy!

I frankly have no complaints!!! Next time (whenever that is), I want to try a room with windows and maybe a bit more floor space.

New Scandinavian style hotel. Very clean, very silent from outside, fresh air with no smells from planes (hotel is in the airport). Well organized helpful stuff. Perfect for overnight before early flight - airport departures are reachable without going outside.

Room could be a bit bigger, with a better insulation from neighboring room. I missed a table where I could sit and work and there we no hangers. Very thankful for full scaled early breakfast which starts at 4am as standard but expected bigger menu from this hotel chain.

Exceptionally helpful and friendly staff. Very comfortable beds and surprisngly quite, even though it was right next to the airport. We did not hear the planes even thought we could see them take off. Food was excellent and a wide choice of breakfast items. If we could give this hotel a 12/10 we would. We have already recommneded it to people we know in Sweden. The main things we like was the beds were so comfortable and the hotel was so quite.

Nice decor and bar /lounge area very nice. Connected to airport so good location for catching a flight. Bathroom clean and had everything we needed. Our room was clean, modern and all amenities excellent! . We didnt have a window but for one night this wasn't a problem and we chose this room as it waa cheaper. Breakfast options were very good and included plenty of vegetarian and vegan choices.

Water pipes were noisy - not sure if we were situated next to some pipes or if it was because we were the room at the end of the corridor (111) but this did disturb us.

We booked a night at Scandic Landvetter due a very early flight the following morning. It absolutely could not have been more convenient to wake up, get ready, have breakfast and go. It literally is only a 2 minute walk to the airport, without even having to leave the building. On Booking.com, the breakfast is described as 'Fabulous' and that is exactly what it is. There were so many options of what to eat, we couldn't want for anything more. I just wish I had more of an appetite at 4am :-)

There was nothing we did not like about Scandic Landvetter airport hotel.

Stayed here when our evening flight was delayed overnight. Easy booking online through Booking.com. Walked around to hotel, its very close to the airport terminal building, no more than about 50 metres! Room was incredibly quiet. Windows couldn't be opened but the air conditioning worked well to keep room at the right temperature. Facilities in the room were great - good shower room, hairdryer, decent towels, plenty of plug sockets and USB points for charging devices, a safe, hanging rail for clothes. Breakfast in the morning started at 04.30, which is good for those on an early start. A wide selection of food including all dietary needs, no-one would go hungry! We enjoyed the delicious selection and it set us up well for our journey.

There were no facial tissues in the room. Not sure if this was an error or they don't provide them. Not a big problem for us so I didn't call housekeeping, as we were only there until 7.30 am.

right beside the airport so I could stay there before heading off in my rental car the next day. Well decorated rooms, small in size but very comfortable and the breakfast was outstanding. I did not want to eat much in the morning, but the staff let me make something to take with me for later in the day since I was short of time. I thought that was really nice of them. Front desk even charged up my phone for me which was also friendly service.

Everything was as I would expect. Nothing in particular was lacking. I saw there was an iron in the room which I think could be handy for travellers, though I did not use it.

Great choice for breakfast. Lovely area for dining. Friendly staff. Clean hotel. Lovely Lobby area. Plenty sockets for charging in the lobby. Hotel in the airport. All inside access no need to go outside. No noise from planes could be heard. Few steps away from airport bus that brings you into Gothunburg. Just under 10 euro for adult.

There was nothing we didn’t like.
