The location is great for the exhibition center, and it's a brisk walk into the city centre from here. It's a big hotel with excellent facilities, and Upper House is located effectively on top of the regular Gothia Towers hotel. The rooms were luxurious - possibly one of the nicest hotel rooms I've stayed in. Breakfast was on the top floor in an exclusive area, and this was a stunning experience - lovely views, amazing service, and food to die for. The menu consisted of tapas style dishes, so you chose what you wanted. The staff were very attentive, and the food was incredible.

I checked in late, so the check-in was done by the night staff. There were a few issues to resolve the next morning with the Upper House staff, but these were very minor. No functional air conditioning. The rooms were very hot, uncomfortably so at night.

The room was spacious, the red rocking chair was very comfortable, and the desk was also convenient. The outside view of the room was great, but unfortunately the amusement park was not operating while I was there, so the night view was not as excellent as I expected. The spa was outstanding, especially suitable for a cold and rainy day, and it was nice to be able to participate in their yoga program. These two definitely relieved my fatigue and felt better. The restaurant on the 25th floor had a beautiful view, and both the food and service were excellent and luxurious.

I am writing to extend my heartfelt appreciation for the outstanding professionalism and kindness demonstrated by all the upper house staff, especially the ladies a the reception and the breakfast team (Simon and another young lady a forgot her name). Their exceptional service has left a lasting impression, and I would highly recommend Upper House to anyone planning to visit Gothenburg. Thank you once again.

Amazing view, big windows and the staff was very service minded, everyone was very kind. We did feel that we got personalized treatment, they followed up on a question I had and a lady came the day after asked if I got the answer from the reception. The room has a huge bathtub which is really good and it was also extremely quite. No noise from other guests or anything was heard. It is also good that the spa is already included in the room price and that we could go as many times as we wanted just needed to agree with the reception. It was never crowded so it also felt good because you had a bit of privacy.

Difficult to say anything here. The only thing is more like some sustainability points - like it would be nice if they had this mini selective garbage in the room so you have possibility to do recycling and we also received every day a little paper with tomorrow’s weather which is very sweet and I understand that a luxury hotel wants to do the extra but maybe this day and age it is not needed to have that on a paper every day in every room ;)

We loved our stay! The staff was super friendly, the breakfast was superb, the on-site spa was out of this world, the views were amazing, and it was super easy to walk to restaurants and sites or take the tram just outside to access things further away. Highly recommend and can’t wait to come back!

Breakfast was nice and so was the spa.

I expected more from design of the hotel. It is a bit clumsy in design in many respects. Shower in my my room for instance was too small. It was a glass enclosed shower and you did not have much space.

Lovely breakfast location on floor #25 and absolutely beautiful facility and set up.

Perhaps more variety/selection of warm dishes.

Great À la carte breakfast. Great SPA. Friendly stuff. Nice view from our room but also from SPA, restaurants and bars. Really satisfied with huge windows in Deluxe svit.

Not impressed by drinks. Crowded elevators - will be better if some elevators were dedicated for Upper House guests. Missing dining at Upper House. 20 minutes waiting for car from wallet parking.

It was slightly too expensive compared to other options available that offer similar standard such as Jacyz.
