We had Junior suit on 16th floor, we were offered two options on the view (city or Liseberg park). room was very spacion and had a lot of light. Room had both bathtub (quite spacious and deep) and shower (also quite spacious). Shower gel, body lotion, shampoo, hair conditioner were from Molton Brown. My room had more than enough towels, and towels were changed when on the floor. We had breakfast on 29th floor, amazing view, perfect for the start of the day. Breakfast had plenty of options. I have visited also SPA facilities, very interesting having jacuzzi outside on 20th floor. Great views. P.S - during those dates Gothenburg hosted Metallica concert, stadium was quite near, although i did not hear anything, so good soundproofing

Well located if you want a quality hotel at more affordable prices just out of the city center, but very accessible on tram and bus stops. Also the airport bus stop right in front of the hotel and makes a easy transfer possible, even very early in the morning. Breakfast spread is great and the sky lounge views are exceptional.

Being a big hotel you would expect crowds at the check in... not really avoidable. While standing on the queue I could check in electronically so it was quick and efficient once I reach the desk... The sky lounge served excellent food but be prepared to pay a lot.... but perhaps not so bad if you are used to relatively expensive Swedish restaurants.

This was our second stay in this hotel, overall we were very happy again. Thanks for the nice room, and Im looking forward for the next stay. Once again a realy nice wellness time in the upperhouse spa! The hotel has a very big and excellent breakfast!

This time it seems the service in heaven 23 bar ignored us a bit since we looked casual and not as high class as the other guests, this gave us a bit a negative vibe.

The location is very good, the view was wow especially at the sunrise. The stuff was really lovely. The breakfast was tasty.

I didn't like the bed. They were 2 single beds separated from each other, so it was annoying that they had to be pulled apart. The room needed to be cleaned more carefully, especially the bathroom. It was strange that a 4-star hotel and with such price would have poor rooms due to some of the things that are usually found in such hotels. For example, there are no slippers or bathrobes.

The staff were extremely helpful and welcoming. There was no decaffeinated coffee available in the room so they provided a jar I was able to use for my stay. This was invaluable during conference coffee breaks. They also rapidly fixed a couple of minor issues with the shower and sink without any fuss or inconvenience.

Had a couple of issues with the shower door not closing and sink blocked, but these were quickly resolved.

Breakfast was fantastic. Lots of choice and it was included in the price. Location was very central, so ideal. Room had a very nice view. Reception area felt very relaxed and there were lots of areas to sit/have a snack or drink.

Would have prefered a double mattress rather than 2 single mattresses pushed together.

Hard to beat this extremely central location. We got a room on the 20th floor with an amazing view of the entire city. Clean and no problems with anything. Great breakfast where you could find pretty much everything. Easy check-in/out.

Really no complaints what so ever. Perhaps the price per night. We booked late, and there was lots going in town (concerts and summer holidays etc), so I guess they took the chance to "over charge"... Book in time and the prices are hopefully a bit more "normal". Beds were comfy, but only 80cm wide when pulled apart, If you are a couple and with beds together no problem ofc. Wish each bed could have been a bit wider when used as single beds.

The rooms are really Nordic style with nothing really beyond wht is needed. All is very clean and there is a hair dryer in the room. The tub is nice and the equipment works fine.

The towels are thin and if you are staying as couple better bring some own ones. No way to open window to get humidity under control. The air condition has not a lot of options for setup.

the breakfast

parking was far away. we have a disable child and we struggled to walk to the hotel. we had to park in focus (following the advice given by the hotel) which after midnight was locked and because of the flight delay we arrived at 2:00am we ended up locked in the parking. when we managed eventually to reach someone to get us in the hotel we then arrived at the hotel at 3:30 in the morning. and because our booking was for one night we had to check out at 11. no flexibility at all although we paid £300 for a night view was also horrible the only think we could see from the window was the roof and the extinguishers from below us

Location, good facilities, food in restaurants was excellent

Staff in one of the restaurants (West Coast) weren't very friendly or welcoming. One of the waitresses literally looked and sounded like she didn't want to be there. Most staff engage in small talk but this woman didn't say a word and looked like she didn't want to be there which put a dampener on our dinner. She wasn't friendly what so ever nor was the maitre d that welcomed us. The other waiter staff that served us were OK though.
