Very friendly service and good hygiene in the facility and tasty breakfasts. Good location of the hostel, not far from the center, and above all, close to local transport and the largest amusement park in Scandinavia - we recommended ;)

Public parking is available practically next to the hostel, which is very convenient, but it would be very useful to explain additional abbreviated signs under Swedish road signs "P - Parking", as well as provide approximate parking costs for individual hours and days. However, the biggest problem was the lack of any information that the vast majority of all in Sweden in smaller grocery and clothing stores, restaurants, pizzerias, etc., practically do not accept cash from the Swedish krona and payments can only be made with a payment card.

In relation to the other competitors within the lodging realm based in Gothenburg, this one provides preeminent value vis-a-vis the other entities on the local market, i.e they outmanouver SpotOn, Backpackers and STF Stigbergsliden etc. Frankly, one is able to indulge in a delicious breakfast with topnotch coffee, enjoy outstanding service and it also demonstrates a wide range of other valueable, perhaps even fundamental according to consensus, attributes such as a generous price level which makes it more than affordable for the so called "masses" of the world. Hence this place is highly advised as a residing place in Gothenburg and could be considered competitive not only locally but also on a global scale.

Short walking distance to Liseberg park and easy transportation to the main city attractions. Usually, there are plenty of shared scooters nearby. The guest rooms are simple, quiet, and very clean. There are loads of showers and toilets available. I didn’t try but a buffet breakfast is available. Also, the kitchen is well-equipped. The staff was really friendly and help us with an express check-in/check-out process.

The price of the place was very modest and for the purposes of my visit to the city, I was surprised that the location was not far from a Coop or Willy's and also the distance to the city center was great! The staff was also very polite, cordial, and did facilitate my friend and I very gracefully. It is also near some very good restaurants of various cuisines, so it helped make finding food options much easier.

my friend and I were not prepared for the rains of Goteborg and we had wet socks/shoes for the first day of our trip. It would be nice if they offered a facility to let us use a heater or some device to dry our shoes and socks instead of charging extra.

The check in and check out to the hotel is very easy. It is centrally located near Korsvägen, which makes travelling to/from the airport very easy. It has a lot of bathrooms and showers.

The room was not properly cleaned before my arrival as I could find hairs from other people there. It was very loud, as a lot of children were staying there and playing in the hallways. The shared showers should be cleaned more often, as they were disgusting.

We really enjoyed our stay at Göteborg Hostel. The proximity to Liseberg is unmatched, the price pretty fair for being in it's location and pretty clean. The sound isolation is pretty good to. The self-check in process (which is after 16PM) was easy and we got no major complaints at all. The beds are good (only downside is that they are a bit creaky but it's a minor inconvenience). We can reccomend this place :)

The girl friends working at the reception were very polite. They were well behaved I loved them.

When I went out to smoke someone shot fireworks from inside the car. I could have gone blind or injured if it had caught my eye. I'm scared I don't know then I told you.He saw a bald middle-aged Norwegian friend staying in the same room as me. He also witnessed the event.I also told the staff at the reception. Moreover, no one called the police even though they knew I didn't speak English or Swedish. It is a crime to attack, not even disturb a tourist in my country.

For that price I was afraid there would be too much compromises. But the only drawback for low price was a toilet/shower located outside of room (lot of them available in common area) and also maybe room size (really tiny). But if you are outside whole day and only need place to sleep and place to eat your own food - nothing is missing here for that purpose.

If you hear noise from ventilation system in the night and can't sleep, ask at reception to turn it off. I found only at the last night it is not always present.

the hostel entirely was clean enough which is good, but the hostel needs to update that bed sheet payment automatically charge from reservation payment. the staff is very nice and the organization of the hostel is good. a shared kitchen is very well organized.

the bed might be newer since they make noise even with small moves. the location is far from the centre that needs public transportation to go centre around 3 km so be aware if it..
