Hotel is located in small town. All rooms are oriented on the beautiful lake, however in hot summer days and without air conditioner it became quite hot in the room. Only fan is available. Also there is a coffee machine, but no jettle. Restaurant is available in hotel. Actually there are two restaurants, but at the moment of stay, the menu was the same.

The location was fabulous and I think this is what the hotel trades on. The room was fine and had a small balcony overlooking the lake which was lovely, The hotel had a lift which was very welcome as I have mobility problems and find climbing stairs quite difficult. Hotel parking was available and this was a plus. The hotel is located opposite the boat station and there is a very regular bus service from outside the hotel door. Breakfast was plentiful and a good choice of food was available. All in all, my wife and I enjoyed our stay.

The hotel is looking a bit tired and jaded and could do with a face lift. There is no full-time receptionist and for a hotel of this size a receptionist is a necessity. The internet connection was very hit and miss and could have been better.

Although at first sight appearing a little dated, our room was good size, had a balcony with canopy, was clean and equipped with all amenities travellers would expect. Spectacular views over Lake Lucerne. Staff very friendly. Beach bar at the lake. Great restaurant and breakfast.

Nothing in particular just a couple of things: There was a Small Play Area for Kids inside the Hotel. It seems that no one is taking care/cleaning it regularly. Free Car Parking is available around the Hotel. However sometimes it's full. Then you have to Park in the Hotel Garage (10 CHF/night) which is not very spacious. If you have a SUV you will not fit in there.

The view from the room was great. Staff were friendly and the food at the restaurant for both dinner and breakfast was good quality.

There was no employees in the check in!!!U have nobody to talk to !! The mattress was uncomfortable also the pillows The hotel needs renovation!!!

Restaurant was closed on the day we arrived. We had to get take away from other place. Room does not have kettle and bed is not that comfortable. Breakfast is basic

The staff were very courteous and helpful. The location is right next to the port and the view is magnificent. I hope to visit again.
