Brilliant location! Great for all purposes, from visiting Lucerne, to lake boat trips and numerous fantastic hiking opportunities. We got corner rooms, looking both at the mountains and at the lake - wonderful views! If not location and views, our rating would be lower. The hotel is popular with international travelers, and staff speaks excellent English. The hotel's restaurant is a bit upscale, but very good - we enjoyed our dinners there. Breakfast was OK, but for this hotel type seems slightly insufficient; also, cold cuts were not timely replenished. While the external sound insulation of the room was good, the bathroom of our neighbors could be heard as if there was no wall at all.

This was a perfect stop for a few days when driving home from Italy to Sweden in the real summer heat. The building is a bit dull from the outside but that doesnt´t reflect the interior, the location, the facilities and the service at all. Everything else is super, especially the views, the staff, the restaurant with its large windows and terrace and superb food and very good wine list, and the lush and green beach garden with the wonderful beach bar. The rooms are also nice and functional. Plentiful car parking possibilities with direct access to the hotel. Very close to Engelberg, Pilatus, Luzern and other sights around for short excursions. We really enjoyed our days at the hotel!

The third bed in our room was just a classical simple extra bed and not comfortable at all, especially not for tall or heavy persons. Our room on the top floor (the 4th) had a marvellous view of the garden, the beach, the lake and the mountains but no balcony as the rooms on the lower floors. Some more sun beds in the garden would have been highly appreciated.

There is lot to like! I first place: location! Beautiful spot on lake Luzern, in a charming town, with incredible views: the lake side particularly but a room facing the mountain side will not disappoint either. Fantastic breakfast. Alone worth the stay. Nice common areas and lake terrasse. Rooms are not luxurious and quite dated but bed is comfortable. Plenty of parking spaces and electric charging station just in front of hotel. Price is high for foreigners but in line with local standards.

Rooms (4th floor) are quite basic and little dated. Nothing too bad tho. Still fine. Just not as nice as the rest of the hotel. Mold in the shower spoiled a bit an otherwise very pleasant stay. I want to think that was a problem just in our room.

Excellent location in front of the lake with an amazing view of Lake Lucerne.  There is free parking adjacent to the hotel, the restaurant for dinner is expensive but excellent.  The hotel staff is very nice and kind and helps with any question or request.

The breakfast does not have enough products and the selection is very small.  The temperature outside was 30 degrees and there is no air conditioning at all in the hotel area or in the rooms or even a fan.  It would also be nice if there was a fridge in the room that could at least put bottles of water inside.

- The view from the room and the balcony was astonishing. - The hotel is in a quiet area and easily accessible by car and public transport with ample parking space right in front of the hotel. - The room and the bathroom were very clean - The hotel has a nice green backyard with a swing facing the lake. - There is also a car ferry docking point right next to the hotel, so you can cross easily without having to drive all over the lake. - The staff were friendly and the check-in process was smooth and fast.

- Breakfast had very limited options. For example, no cakes or toast were available. There were also no fruits. - The heater was off and the room was slightly cold.

Location of the hotel is great if you like to be at the lake side, our room was from the street and was not loud. Resturant has very good food and staff is very kind. Free parking on side which is normally very difficult around the lake. If you have a dog, I recommend to go up the hill , around lake there is almost no grass. Its quite a walk up hill but very beautiful. Very close to the lif to many hikes, we took as well boat across the lake , we had great time !

I would say price for the room is a bit high compare to standard of the room, however I think you mostly pay for location which is really cool.

And if you have any concerns or questions, the staff are always available and eager to help.

Although the rooms at the Seerausch Swiss Quality Hotel were not to my liking-for others the location, amenities and service of the hotel make it a solid choice for those seeking a comfortable and affordable stay in the heart of Switzerland.

I had a really good time there! I stayed 3 nights and all the staff (reception, housekeepers and waitress) were kind and polite, also helped me with everything I needed. The quality of the food served in the breakfast was very good. I went there 10 min before it finished on my first day because I confused the time, but the waitress was very helpful and didn't rush me, actually the opposite and asked me if I wanted anything else before she collected the food. The room was clean and organised. The location is also good, very close to the bus stop (around 5 min walking). I felt relaxed and comfortable and I definitely recommed this hotel especially because of the customer service. Thank you very much, I really appreciate it!

There is no supermarket or shops around there (walking distance). But if you organise your day and buy in advance what you need, it won't be a problem.

Hotel Seerausch is a friendly hotel with nice rooms, at the lake. We used it a for a stop over of one night which is perfect as the hotel is conveniently located close to the exit of the highway. There is enough parking space and a nice restaurant serving Swiss dishes like cheese fondue. The breakfast is basic, but good and tasty.

Little details, like a stop in the bathtub that did not really close, so you couldn't take a good bath and the shower sprayed in different directions. Some other details in the room, like the doors, seem a little outdated, contrasting with the modern touch of the rest of the hotel.

The hotel location is far from city of Lucerne, but if you travel by car this is not a problem, you can get there in 20 min. Otherwise the view from the hotel room was great, towards the mountains and the lake. The hotel has a big parking and it's free of charge. The room is big, with nice balcony, only some maintenance is needed, like the shower booth glass door which was not closing properly and water was splashing on the floor. There is no fridge in the room and you get a wooden stick instead of a real spoon in the room, which is kind of insulting for the price you pay for the room.
