The room was comfortable, along with the beds, and a great shower. The location was very central, literally two mins walk or less to the Rigi Bahn which took me to the 'Queen of the mountains'. Breakfast was a continental affair, with the staff being very friendly and welcoming, the coped very well with my average German, and answered all my questions.

The only thing, (to be expected from an older hotel) is that you could hear people walking around outside the room and the room above, and being next to the road, being a light sleeper doesn't work, unless you can get a room around the back of the hotel.

Staff is really friendly. Mr. Thomas helped me a lot to find attractions around Vitznau. Breakfast is actually fresh and pleasant. I enjoyed the coffee they serve. And the scenery!!! Like a part of heaven! Amazing view to the lake. I absolutely enjoyed the walking by the lake in the morning. Do not forget to try the restaurant. Very professional chef. There is a grocery store nearby where you can find most of your needs. There is a bus stop by the Hotel, which you can use to go to Lucerne or other cities. A bit far, but you can enjoy the rout.

The Hotel Rigi is in a great location and has beautiful views of the lake and mountains. The room we stayed in had a good sized balcony, bath and a very comfortable bed. The staff were also very friendly and helpful. The breakfast rooms were really nice, with a lovely outside area.

Would be good if they offered plant-based milk as part of the breakfast buffet.

We arrived early and were given a room straight away, along with lots of information about the area. Good location near the boat station and the Rigi Railway. The bedroom was spacious and very clean, as was the bathroom. Excellent breakfast. Small balcony overlooking Lake Lucerne.

Only a very slight downside was the traffic noise, but quiet at night.

The room was sufficient and provided us with what we needed for our two day stay. The Breakfast was great. We like the selection. The staff were responsive and provided good service. The location of the hotel was excellent. If you intend to hike near Rigi, you can not beat the location. Highly recommend.

The property allows smoking in the room. The smell of cigarette smoke was very heavy and unpleasant in all the common areas of the hotel. We didn't really appreciate that.

Fantastic location right near the ferry pier and train terminal to Mount Rigi. We had an evening meal which was superb and the breakfasts were delicious. Our room had a balcony overlooking the lake. We loved our stay there.

Everything was good. Friendly staff, excellent location next to the Rigi Bahn station, for trains up the mountain. Clean, comfortable room and good breakfast. Also had dinner in the restaurant, good was good and the restaurant was popular!

The breakfast could have more choice in vegetables and be more vegan friendly (like rice or soy milk).

The hotel is opposite the train station. It is very convenient to get the train to Rigi mountain. There are lots of restaurants nearby.

The street noise affects sleep if you stay in street side rooms.

Very friendly and helpful owners and staff. Close to the lake, the ship and the Rigi railway. Very good restaurant (book a table!).

The rooms are rather small and old; nevertheless they are comfortable!
