Service at this hotel was top notch, with the staff positively catering to all our needs. The hotel is ideally located near the lake a few minutes away from the main happening places in Zurich. I wouldn't bother having breakfast anywhere else as the food and service was excellent, I specially liked the salmon eggs Benedict. I would definitely stay here whenever I am back in Zurich.

- small but grand - free minibar is always a plus - upgrade upon arrival appreciated - fridge was cold - the whole bathroom was incredible - location is good - tv was great - they gifted us hats that are beautiful - next to the opera house

- to my taste it’s was a little far from the center of action - house keeping staff should be a little considerate I just removed the don’t disturb button and all it took was 10 seconds for her to knock twice and open the door - dine In menu was a little simplistic I couldn’t order anything - the table and chairs in the corner room is annoying to sit on they remind me of wooden chairs that are used in cafes to force people to not overstay their welcome - when guests close their doors near our room we can hear the big boom inside our room

The staff was exceptional. The service everywhere was top notch. The doorman knew my name from the time I checked in. The staff was both friendly and extremely well trained. I was impressed that everyone came forward to help with everything, whether or not it was strictly "their job." The staff and service were as good as I have ever encountered. Clearly, as a dog owner, I was also very grateful for the hotel's exceptional welcome for my dog, including her bed, water and food dishes and treats, and the general attitude of the staff. The Mediterranean restaurant was excellent, and there too, the service was truly impressive. You have done a superb job of forming an exceptionally fine staff, and that made my stay memorable. As a detail, the sheets were wonderful, the bars of soap also, and the robe was unusually soft and comfortable. The attention to detail and the many amenities in the room, from the fruit to the champagne to the hats, etc. were extremely well thought-out and a true pleasure. The bathroom was marvelous! I was grateful to have the Nespresso machine because my breakfast came with only a demi-tasse of coffee; for a refill, I was able to turn to the machine.

My room was extremely well-designed both in terms of aesthetics and practicality. That said, the bedroom itself (as opposed to the wonderful bathroom) was small. The bed took up the entire center of the room, forcing me to walk around it or behind the desk to get from one side of the room to the other. Because the room was small, there was no chair to sit in for reading or relaxing. Either one had to sit on a small stiff chair at a small table or in the desk chair. If I wanted to read, I had to sit on the bed. The terrace was large and very well furnished; however, the noise from the street below kept me from using the terrace. I understand that this is beyond your control.

bathrooms were beautiful but perhaps a little overly oriented toward the stylish look vs ergonómics. no complaints, but most of the dramatic styling type hotels I’ve been to are similar. Still, we liked it overall

we have traveled to a lot of places around the world, but we have never had the experience we had in La réserve… The staff is so friendly, the room and comfort is to die for and there are so many small luxurious things present in the room and the hotel. everything you need they will make sure you get. Thank you to the incredible staff who truly made our vacation great!

there is absolutely nothing that we didn’t like!

We only ever stay at 5* hotels and this is the only one that deserves the 5 star rating for EVERYthing. The staff, 10/10. Location, food, room. Everything was perfect. We travelled to Lugano and had to return to Zurich for our flight home, I was sad the hotel was booked up because I would’ve 1000000% returned back for one more night.

Nothing. Not a single thing was wrong!

Hotel upgraded me to a larger corner room when there was a water issue in the bathroom. That was very nice of them. A few of the nights we didn't have hot water in the evening, but they removed a room night from the total bill which was the correct thing to do. Other than that, the hotel and location are absolutely lovely. Perfect blend of grand luxury in a small hotel.

1- Fantastic view from our prestige room with a balcony overlooking the majestic lake Zurich and the lake promenand ... the bathroom also had the same view as the balcony which was always a delight. 2- Modern, progressive and bold interior design by Philip Stark made this hotel even more special. 3- Very helpful and super friendly staff that went always far and beyond to meet our requests, special thanks tot he front office staff who were nothing short of exemplary. 4- The breakfast was legendary with a wide selection menu of eggs, fresh fruits, and some of the most declious panckakes we ever had, and an exeptionally balanced coffee and fresh juices.

1- We were checked more than 30 minutes late, and we were told the room was still being cleaned eventhough we passed the official checkin time, which was a bit of a disappointment at the begining of our stay. 2- Very limited in-room dinining options that can be expanded to allow guests more choice in case they decided to enjoy their lunches on a sunny day on this balcony overlooking these magnificent views. 3- Limited space to hang clothing but sufficient space to place folded items.

Entire hotel is incredible - quality of materials, interior design, service and hospitality. Japanese restaurant on the roof top is more ten excellent + incredible view. Every second spend there is pure relax and comfort.
