Isabelle at the reception was very friendly and welcoming had excellent knowledge of the area and activities. Breakfast is very good with lots of option Location is quite not far from the station - about 10mins. If you take a taxi, might seem far as the driver has to go round the town taking a diff. route. Adonis is about 5 mins walk to the gondola to Klein Matterhorn. Room was nice with comfortable beds, clean, and lovely view of the matterhorn on a clear day.

They say Zermatt is car free, it is actually not, you have got to be careful of little truck taxis going around in town. There was no kettle in the room.

I really loved my stay at this hotel. The place is nice and charming! Small, but cozy room made in wooden style that really fits the village environment and the winter atmosphere. The personal is very polite and always ready to help. Every day they placed a new large bottle of mineral water in the room. The breakfast was also very rich and tasty. They also have sauna, laundry (self-service), kitchenette and place to hold ski equipment. The hotel is not far from the center and also from elevators to mountains. Overall, this is a very great place!

A friendly greeting upon arrival. The host went through all of the necessary information and provided WiFi instructions. The lobby is dated but clean and functional. The room was very clean, a good size, lots of room for storage and everything worked. I appreciated the USB ports by the night table. The flooring appears to have been updated recently. The bed & bedding were good, I slept well. The bathroom has been updated at some point. It looked almost like a new renovation. Clean, functional and plenty of hot water. Overall a nice spot to lay your head for a few days.

It's a bit of a hike from the train station and the main street. Nothing too onerous as everything is within a 10-15 minute walk from the hotel.

It was challenging to find lodging for our family of 4 with 2 adult children. This room was perfect for us with 4 twin sized beds. We had a lovely balcony, a private bathroom, and space for each of us.

We had heavy luggage and had to carry it up a couple of small flights of stairs since our room was on the top floor and the lift only went to the floor below ours. It wasn't a huge deal but it is something worth mentioning. It is also quite a distance from the train station and we weren't sure how to navigate getting a taxi so we ended up walking and hauling our luggage over lots of cobblestoned streets and up hills. It seems every place in town had their own small transport vehicle for travelers from the train station so I'm sure it is an option but it wasn't mentioned in the booking so we didn't utilize it.

We had the 3 bedroom apartment, which worked out well for a couple and 2 singles. Lots of room for 4 of us. Livingroom furniture is not so comfortable but functional. Beds and linens were great. Well-appointed kitchen to cook meals, as well near some great restaurants. Red bus line stops just above hotel. It is free from the various stations. Be prepared to walk in ski boots and carry skies. It is 2 chf to lock skies at the loafing station. Should have considered it

Livingroom furniture wasn't too comfy but functional

The hotel was very well kept, spotless clean, and lots of great amenities. There's a brand new kitchen for guests to use, including a large fridge, shelving for each room, a microwave and a large countertop oven. Dishes and utensils, kettles, laundry machines (and a service!) Our room was spacious and we had a great mountain view from our balcony. There was also a little backyard area to sit and eat outside as well as inside. The staff is fantastic. Rita was amazing and went beyond to ensure that everything was well. The manager was also lovely and very helpful. I highly recommend this hotel, especially for extended stays!

The breakfast is what someone needs to start their day. A bit small BUT good. The main dining room is a little tight near the end of the buffet. Most of the women up front at the desk were very helpful. (NOT the older one) Thanks to the young lady at the front desk with the long dark hair!!!!! Nice walk to town....

We were NOT charged to get to the hotel. :) Took transportation from Taush through WELCOME PARKING, then a person (taxi?) picked us up and took us straight to the hotel. NO CHARGE. However, we WERE charged to get back to the transportation station in Taush. The receptionist called us a taxi who charged $17.00.

The location was excellent, providing a close proximity to the main town area while also allowing for a nice view and feeling of seclusion. Everything was very comfortable and neat, and the staff was kind and helpful to those who are unfamiliar with the area.

It could be helpful to add more labels to the breakfast buffet, as I had difficulty figuring out what things were amidst the business. It also was a bit awkward to be on the terrace next to those from other rooms, as both of our conversations could be heard in full despite the dividers.

Loved hotel Adonis. Has everything you need, and you can check yourself in if you arrive late. Just email them to let them know. 10 minute walk from the main shopping/eating area, the train station and the train up to see the Matterhorn. Add an extra 5-10 minutes walk there if you're taking luggage, but it's easy to find on google maps. Blonde lady in reception is fabulous as is the young man who I also chatted with.

Nothing to complain about.

We rented the apartment (they have only 1 apartment in the hotel) and it was perfect. A big kitchen with all appliances you may need, even a fondue machine, so I even tried to cook fondue. Wooden fireplace, vintage plates, a lot of glasses. Just perfect. Unfortunately, one person from the group damaged an arm, and the insurance company asked for confirmation from the hotel that the person stayed there, and we received that confirmation very quickly, so the hotel staff was very helpful. Also, 7 min to Matterhorn Express lift, 3 min to the closest grocery shop and 10 min to the big grocery shop (Migros), 12 min to the train station. You may order a transfer from/to the hotel at the reception and it costs less than the default taxi at the train station.

TV, DVD, and Sound are pretty outdated and you definitely will not plug your laptop or setup the sound system as an output device.
