The location was easy to find. All of the staff were happy and attentive, nothing was too much trouble, and they were all very knowledgeable of the area and facilitates. The room was clean, beds very comfortable and it was just the right temperature. Nice touch in the room was the TV being tuned to your language with a welcome message. Breakfast was lovely, with a great variety, being able to cook hot, fresh eggs was an added bonus to us. On the evening only Bar Snacks were served at the bar..... these were delicious and were far from 'snacks'

Location is ideal as it is situated in between the gornegrat station and glacier paradise cable car station. It is also a quick walk to the main town area. Hotel is very clean and comfortable. Breakfast is great with some DIY stations. Will return if visiting Zermatt again.

I really like this hotel. The staff is really friendly,. breakfast is just so cosy and good, rooms are clean and all the views are so beautiful from the Matterhorn room views are amazing and from even from the single bed room amazing view from the mountains and city. Is beside famous bridge and also has sauna rooms which are great after a day exploring. I had also a very nice hot chocolate from the bar and if I could only add one thing is that the hair dryer in one of the rooms is quite slow, but apart from this small thing all was really good. I will definitely be back to Zermatt in this hotel 😊

Room was perhaps a tad smaller than expected, however, we had a balcony that we kept the wide doors open most of the time so it was plenty adequate. Besides we were not there to stay inside! Breakfast was excellent - many choices, European breads were many, meats, eggs, etc. and plentiful. You were never rushed to leave the dining area. Staff was pleasant and helpful always. The view - we had a Matterhorn view, 3 stories up and everyday, all day a view of the magnificient Matterhorn peak that was unparalleled. We spent plenty of time on the balcony just sitting and looking at the view of the Matterhorn and surrounding mountains.

I booked a room with Matterhorn view. But without any notice when I arrived it was changed into just mountain view. Slightly disappointed. I could have changed a hotel if I know they changed my room. There might be some dust mites in bed as after sleeping I got two dust mite bites.

The hotel located a bit far from the train station. However, we feel glad they pick us up from the train station to the hotel. The room we booked with Matterhorn view is awesome, we saw a clear Matterhorn alpine glow at our balcony during sunrise. Besides, we like they breakfast as well!

Although it located a bit remote from the town centre, but we enjoy the peaceful environment and walks to the town. We love the steam bath and sauna, but it would be great if they provides a locker, we feel unsafe while using the facilities as it can be access easily and we are required to be naked while using it.

Our room was spacious, it was very clean and had everything we needed. We had a fantastic view of the Matterhorn from our balcony. The breakfast was plentiful, with a great choice of food and drink. You have the option to make your own pancakes, waffles, eggs etc, which was a great touch. The staff were fantastic and very attentive. We also enjoyed the health spa facilities, very clean, and great after a day skiing. We thought that this family run hotel is one of the best that we have stayed in, certainly the most welcoming.

The location was excellent, just 8 minutes walk from the train station, The entrance was very clean and welcoming with lots of wood detailing . Welcome by host was friendly, English spoken, explanation of hotel.layout also given. Food was outstanding, great variety and good prices. Room was compact but comfortable and everything needed was there. There was even a personalised welcome message on the television screen which made the stay a little more special. Will definitely return.

Everything was perfect, expectations were exceeded at every level. Just a pity the Matterhorn was covered in cloud, so didn't get the view from the balcony! Will return next year where hopefully the weather will be a bit better!

The breakfast was excellent and my room was very nice.

I mixed up my traveling dates. I arrived around 6pm on the 7th Aug instead of the 8th. The hotel charged me both nights although they could have been forthcoming and charged only the 7th, because at this time they would hardly have been able to rent the room to somebody else because nobody else would have arrived and asked for a room spontaneously. They might have been able to rent the room I had booked for the 8th a second time. The other hotels I stayed at -which I had to change to another day as well- charged only the one night and not two.

The staff was nice and helpful, as we need to early check out for taking the Glacier express, the hotel prepared our breakfast (sandwiches, egg, fruits, chocolate bar and water) for us at the night before. Our room is double room with Matterhorn view, our balcony is large and facing the Mattherhorn, but the weather was not good when we stay, so we could not see the sunrise…. Buffet breakfast was great

The location from the main train station need around 15mins walk with some slope, if carrying large luggage suggest to contact the hotel for shuttle
