The staff was very nice. Explained the key system well. The room was excellent, comfortable and very clean. The staff was very efficient during breakfast. Explained the egg system well. Food was delicious and constantly refilled. Room was cleaned in a timely manner and staff were nice. I stayed at the top floor and had a very nice attic view of the Zurich Grossmunster Church. The night view was spectacular. The hotel was about 4 bus stops from HB and a short walk from the bus stop. If you are adventurous enough, you can even walk to HB from the hotel (but the weather was too hot for us to do so).

They let us check in several hours early, which was unanticipated and VERY convenient! We weren't going to ask for this, just to leave our bags, but it was so wonderful to have early access to the room after a long week of travel. The AC was also perfect, and on the fifth floor we had a gorgeous view of the church from our ceiling window! We didn't opt to pay for breakfast so I can't comment on that, but the neighborhood was picturesque with plenty of cafes nearby to choose from. Only stayed one night, but would recommend to fellow travelers for a longer stay.

The room was about as small as you'd expect for a historic European hotel, although the amenities had been updated which we appreciated. The shower was very small and sprayed all over the bathroom floor, but I believe it was a standard set up. No real complaints!

Breakfast was excellent and the whole team from reception to housekeeping and breakfast were very friendly and helpful. We were always greeted and acknowledged even when they were busy with their work. 5mins Tram ride from the main station when in a rush or a 20mins stroll along the river when we wanted to wind down from the hectic day. Great place to stay, will recommend and hope to be back.

A little dusty after opening the windows for ventilation but that cannot be helped I guess as we are pretty close to the road.

1. breakfast was simple but filling - pastries, boiled eggs, cheese, jam, fruits, butter, coffee, and juice. 2. hotel location was walking distance from everything you want to see 3. staff were great

1. no parking access so difficult to navigate from the parking space to the hotel with luggage particularly as it's in the old part of town with cobbled streets (best part of town though) so the bags were super noisy to move. 2. parking ticket was not validated so it was an expensive ticket for overnight parking

The location was excellent and only a 5 minute walk from the central train station. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The access to the coffee machine which made about 8 different hot drinks was fantastic. I also liked that I could fill my water bottle with sparkling or regular water. The breakfast was good with lots of choices. The room was very comfortable and quiet.

I think the property could use a little sprucing up with fresh paint and new flooring on the stairs.

Nice breakfast selection. Location is fantastic. Really nice and helpful staff. For Zurich and the location, as well as the time of year (June), the price for bed and breakfast was very reasonable.

The room is extremely small but not really a complaint, just an FYI for people who may have large suitcases (we did not). There didn't seem to be any air conditioning in the room, that we could find and it was quite hot at night but overall, a really lovely stay.

Great location to explore Zurich. Included breakfast was handy and sufficient. Plenty of eating options around as well as a 7 day shop in easy walking distance. Easy tram access.

The room was a little small and had no air conditioning, but we were supplied with a small fan to cool the room when it became unseasonably hot.

I liked the location, walking distance to the main tourist attractions, restaurants and shops. The all women hotel staff were professional and efficient. Breakfast was self service and a good spread. Clean room and towels changed daily.

I stayed at the hotel for a total of five nights split into two separate stays but both times got a room which faced the alley and became like a furnace at night. I would've liked a change but the hotel ran full over the weekend so the staff couldn't give me another room. Housekeeping forgot to clean out my rubbish bin on the last day!

Great location in old town. One minute from the bus; 12 minutes to the Zurich HB train. Lots of restaurants and shopping around. The hotel stored our luggage after check out so we didn’t have to rush back or carry our luggage around. Breakfast offered fruit, coffee, juice, bread, croissants, cheese, meat, yogurt and granola. Overhead shower with sink and toilet. Small desk and chair, Fan & TV.

We really enjoyed our stay, loved the location right in the center of old town and close walking distant to Lake, river, shops and restaurants. Our favorite restaurant was Molina Italian restaurant right around the corner. The staff was so kind, helpful and accommodating. They serve a really nice breakfast for 20F, the bed was very comfortable with a nice big bathroom. I will definitely stay here again.
