There are few points should be known to all the visitors: 1- cars are not allowed in the hotel area, you can use your car only for drop on - off your luggage, otherwise you will have to park in public parking away around 10 minutes walk from the hotel 2- Hotel has no AC but they provide fans 3- The decorations of the suite I stayed in was amazing, but to enter the room you will have to climb a long stairs which will be difficult if you have kids/ elderly people 4- the location of the hotel is amazing just few steps from all the restaurants and designers shop 5- breakfast was fine they provide live egg cooking which I appreciated

Service is very friendly and kind, the hotels location is second to none, the rooms are modern and very comfortable, with a coffee machine and good tea amenity. We were also thankful that we could check in a bit earlier since our flights got in early. This obviously subject to availability but there was and we were given the rooms, thank you. Great Swiss style / Continental breakfast with super quality food items.

The in room amenities a bit minimalist for the properties price tag, ie bring your own toothbrush, toothpaste, cotton buds, cotton pads etc and there is no free bottled water (I know the tap water is drinkable but still) etc. - here a few upgrades could add to the experience.

A very pleasant boutique-style hotel in the very center of Zurich! Personal is very charming and attentive. I asked for a calm room overlooking the courtyard and I received it. It was very calm,practically no noise from the street. Of course, the famous bell did strike all day and all night, but it is no fault of the hotel🙂The breakfast was excellent, the room spacious and well equipped, the matrasses and pillows were very comfortable, the bathroom very comfortable as well. Excellent shower! All the necessary facilities and very very clean The decor is modern and fresh. A tram stop to go to the railway station or to the Art museum is very close. A very pleasant stay, I hope to be back. Highly recommend!

Well, you have to be prepared to hear the bells all the night🙂

Staffs are extremely helpful and friendly. Great hospitality with every inch of info and details you will ever needed! Living hall is spacious enough for more than enough beds supply together with another twin bedroom design. Bathrooms are well clean and the balcony a very nice outdoor cozy area although views are quite limited. Beds are super comfy, needed extra pillows which are quite flat, exceptionally quiet for a good night sleep apart from the bells which are not too obviously loud as others had commented. Breakfast is superb with lots and lots of varieties, consider one of the best breakfast among all other hotels I had experienced so far.

Cheffuer rides are not accessible right to the door steps of the hotel thus require some hard works with heavy luaggages, due to the stone pavements design on the entry streets.

Very welcoming and helpful staff, immaculate cleanliness of both the room and common areas. Great breakfast with excellent variety of any food you could desire to start the day. Perfect location, too! Quiet area close to shops, restaurants, public transport, etc.

The stairs to the room were a considerable accessibility issue for us because we travelled with our 1-year-old and his stroller. Potentially that's on us for not verifying that in advance. As mentioned, breakfast was incredible, but there were 2 exceptions: we had really high hopes for croissants in general during our trips, and honestly they were not great. Also coffee, we believe a 4-star facility should have a professional espresso machine, not a super automatic one.

I am fruitarian and was impressed with fruit choice, but you have to wait, as it takes time to fill the tray when fruits finish. It was even blueberry and some dried fruits. I was impressed to get the room keys at 10am while normal check in is at 15:00. Room has amazing toilet model and we liked the shower and bathtub and Cosmetics.

We were missing bathrobes and possibility to switch off the most bright lights without switching off everything. We missed parking lot too and public one is far away and costs 30€ with hotel voucher (40-45 without). Also it’s a hell with electric car, not much charging stations in the center and always taken. At festive days hard to drive to hotel and go parkings as everything was blocked by police. The main thing I didn’t like in the hotel - that they take deposit- cash or card, 50€ a night. That’s sn inconvenience. The church is very annoying, loud every hour and every 15 minutes. You hear it with closed windows too. Bed could have been with latex more comfortable mattress.

Booked a room at the last minute to have a quick overnight in Zurich before flying back to New York, and we were incredibly happy we made that decision. Ideal location (short walk from the train station to the hotel, and so central for exploring everywhere in the old town on foot), lovely staff who booked us a table for dinner at the beautiful restaurant just across the way, and the room featured a gorgeous view over the rooftops and churches. The bed was MEMORABLY comfortable, and the room featured everything you could possibly ask for in terms of toiletries, umbrella, etc. Excellent.

Everything about this hotel was amazing. The location could not have been better and the rooms were HUGE, brand new, and they really thought of everything in terms of practicality and comfort. The breakfast was so great and it was available until noon every day. The staff were very accommodating and special thank you to Daria who was helpful in extending my stay and providing answers to all of my questions. I'll definitely stay here again!

Honestly, the only thing that would make this hotel just absolutely perfect would be having a good dinner/room service menu. The snack/dinner menu really isn't great, so you have to go out for dinner. There are a lot of fantastic restaurants around, but it would have been nice to have good options for an evening in without having to go out.

Charming little hotel in the middle of Zurich's centuries old city center adjacent to historic St. Peter's Church with terrific restaurants, shops and views in the immediate vicinity; easy and stimulating walk down the bustling Bahnofstrasse from the Train Station. Room outstanding and immaculate, albeit with usual smallish Zurich hotel dimensions, will be back. Even had a nice selection of English-language TV stations (including ITV 3 and 4, not just news), although so much to do within a few hundred meters did not spend much time in room.

We had a wonderful stay at Sorrell St Peter. The staff are efficient and friendly, the location was perfect for us, and we really appreciated the long hours of the breakfast buffet (6.30 - noon!) while battling jetlag. There's a neat little workout room in the basement, a yoga mat in the room, a nice lounge for drinks in the afternoon/evening and round-the-clock room service of simple paninis and pizzas. The location is 1 or 2 mins walk from some lovely cafes/restaurants, very close to the tram stop at Paradeplatz, and a stroll along the river to the lake and main square of Zurich. Sorrell St Peter is much more modern and well-equipped than what you would normally expect at a city-centre/old town hotel in Europe. The beds are also super comfy! We loved it and will definitely be back.

One minus might be the ventilation in the rooms if the weather is very warm. But we were lucky to have had cool nights and mornings during our stay. (There is air conditioning but it is quite weak.) The other thing is that the hotel is practically built into the side of the old church of St Peter so you will certainly hear the bells. The hotel even provides ear plugs for this. For us it was not a big problem.
