Only had breakfast one morning as couldn't cancel it after booking had been paid for so what I had was ok.

Unable to cancel breakfast as it was part of the booking which I didnt think was clear at the time and as I had paid for it all prior to travelling once I arrived I was told I couldn't cancel and get it refunded which I was disappointed about as wanted to try the local places for breakfast/brunch. So I paid for 3 breakfasts but only had one on my last morning.

Location of hotel is amazing, right in the midst of the old city on the river bank. The staff is helpful with everything we need from valet parking to restaurants reservation to serving during breakfast and in the bar. The rooms were clean (we had two rooms) and ready . The chocolates in the room everyday plus at night adds a very nice touch. Breakfast is rich with few egg options and a rich buffet.

The rooms are small overall, not a major problem but they are small. Our room faced the river yet our other room faced the Big clock and in one of the nights the clock stroked and it waked up my kids. i dont know if it was a mistake yet the sound was disturbing. Maybe the hotel should warn people about it. The bathroom doors in both rooms did not fully close (i think it is by design), it is not good in my view.

The hotel is located right next to Zurich old town. Its location is excellent for shopping and walking through the old buildings. The staff members were extremely helpful and kind. In addition, the breakfast had a unique selection of local food.

It is a few years since we have stayed at the zum Storchen and we thought the refurbishment of the bedrooms had been done exceptionally well. The bathroom was excellent, including lovely products, and the room was comfy with a magnificent view over the Limmat to the Grossmünster. We had a very good informal meal in the Barchetta, with some real imagination in how the dishes were created and presented. Without exception the hotel staff were friendly, attentive and efficient.

The taxi ordered by the hotel to take the two of us, with two small cases, to the Bahnhof was inordinately expensive compared to taxis we had used elsewhere during our trip, including two that took us to and from the hotel to the station in Basel which was a much longer trip for about 65% of the price. This is something that could usefully be looked at by the hotel in conjunction with the taxi firm they are using.

The location and the staff were terrific. The hotel is very nice.

There was nothing that I didn't like, but I did expect the rooms to be bigger. That's all. Of my six weeks traveling Europe, this was by far the smallest room we've had yet. If I had known, I may have made another selection. But all in all, it was fine and the hotel was great.

location is terrific, AC in the rooms, beautiful view of the canal. concierge staff was outstanding & helpful. breakfast was very good & offered a good variety of choices.

access to the rooftop bar was not readily available to paying hotel guests - we were “fit in” if space was available & no reservations were accepted. drinks there were ridiculously expensive, but the views were incredible! hotel rooms on the smallish side & very minimally decorated.

This hotel was amazing! I had a view of the Limmat and Grossmunster Church. It's close to everything, the tram, metro, shops, restaurants, museums and easy to get around. I would highly recommend and will be returning. And the bonus, the bed I had was an adjustable bed...amazing! The staff was friendly and the breakfast was great as well. It's not far from the airport and easy to get to many attractions outside of Zurich. I have made great memories here as Zurich was on me and my late husband's bucket list.

Room Service menu was limited. That's all that I didn't like about the hotel. I cannot say much more. However with great restaurants around the corner and in the hotel itself, having and extensive room service menu may not be needed.

everything was perfect . room very nice good size well equipped. view is very beautiful 😍 🤩 I would like to extend more days but hotel fully booked

entering the hotel from road is little bite confuse need to put signs to direct .if you go first time maybe you feel that no way cars enter .it look like street for walking only

Position into the city

Difficult to reach by your own car. Rooftop restaurant presented as internal facility but is used more for private events and hotel's clients do not have any priority towards walking clients for reservations. Reception very crowded by rooftop restaurant clients

Although an expensive hotel, it was chosen for its stunning location, parking arrangement & high standards. A wonderful stay, including a nice walk around the old town, supper on the waterfront, scrumptious breakfast in the stunning first floor restaurant with balcony overlooking the Limmat. Wow.

The team were generally wonderful, but forgot to bring the car back to the hotel at the appointed time, causing a slight delay
