Amazing views and great location, close to the beach and everything you need. If you fancy a trip to the old town it's about 30 minute taxi. The staff were super helpful, always smiling and accommodating. Our room was exceptionally clean and they very kindly let us leave our bags and have a shower on the day we left as we had an evening flight. Just a note we stayed in the top floor room and it's quite steep and a lot of stairs to get up there but the views are well worth it if you don't have much luggage or mind stairs.

The view, the spaciousness of the room. We also got free upgrade of our room just because we had a child with us, but I had booked a double room only. We got a room with extra bed and the best view!!! Also the room cleaning was very quick - as soon as we just left for breakfast, the room got instantly cleaned. Amazing! Also - our safe wasn't working and it got checked and replaced to a brand new one within few hours by the owner himself. That tells a lot, how much they care about their customers. :)

Tiny ants appears if you leave food on the table overnight - keep it in the fridge instead. And the driveway is very steep - it really is the most challenging climb, but it's absolutely worth it!!!

I loved staying at Da Bungalows. The room was big, bright and super comfy. Everything was great, especially Mr Da and his family, who run the business. I stayed one week and I felt home from day 1. On the day of my departure my flght was cancelled and so I had to stay one extra night in Phuket. I booked another room at Da Bungalows straight away. The place is also perfectly located in Kata Beach and only a short walk from the sea, restaurants and convenience store. It had everything and it's excellent value for money I would definitely recommend it to my friends and I would go back.

Lovely spacious rooms and you can walk to the South end of Kata beach (more tranquil end) in less than 5 minutes. Complimentary bottles water and extra cold fridge was much appreciated. Plenty of food options available and 7 eleven nearby. We were initially worried that we were quite close to the main road re sleep but it wasn't an issue for us. There was a bit of music on Friday/Saturday night which is o be expected but stopped by 11pm. Excellent value for money.

We couldn't quite work out the hot water shower but it was so warm when we were there that a cool shower was what we needed.

The room itself was very clean with an amazing view to Kata beach. The hosts were also very polite and nice. The room was cleaned everyday and was always spotless clean. This hotel was very close to great restaurants and shops. My only issue and it's not a prejudice comment is the fact that this Beach or location was full of Russias, maybe 60% were Russians. I felt like I went to Russia than to Thailand because I barely saw them.

On our first day, the room had a bit of smell, but they soon provided us with something that helped relief the bad smell. I believe this happened because the room was closed for a long period and there was not much sun coming. The balcony could also be painted a bit. Another thing I don't like are the lizards, I know they don't bite, but if you don't like them, it will be hard for you to fall asleep sometimes. Again, we are in the jungle, so it's expected.

The location is very close to Kata Beach, there are plenty of restaurants and massage places super close, as well as 7 eleven stores. The staff was super nice and helpful, they arranged our transportation to the airport very early in the morning. The room was big enough and had everything you need, including a big fridge and dishes if you want to eat something inside.

There were very small ants crawling in the room, especially around the window, table and fridge area. You should definitely not leave any food (fruits, etc) on the table as they will gather there. Otherwise, they were harmless.

The size of the room was enormous. The cleanliness was spot -on and the quality of the bed and furniture was outstanding. The location is excellent, 5 minutes from shopping facilities, restaurants and the beach. The service was impeccable, everyone super helpful and kind. The sea view and balcony were beautiful, I felt very lucky to wake up soaked in sunshine and the view to the ocean.

Had an excellent stay here. Room was spotless, amazing view of the sea and the staff were very friendly and helpful. - Bed was super comfy - Only a few minutes walk to Kata beach, restaurants, some nice shops and a 7/11 just up the road - Was nice having a little basic kitchen area in the room - They provided beach towels - Good value for money Just be aware it is a steep climb/steps up to the rooms but worth it for the view and the staff help carry your bags up.

Would have been perfect if it had a water refill station so you could use your reusable bottle instead of using lots of plastic.

The view is amazing where we could watch sunset. Big comfy bed, had some great sleep. Convenient to have a small kitchen area where we could wash up and they provide washing up detergent. Great they give you beach towels and water every day. Laundry service was very handy. Great location with lots of shops and restaurants on your doorstep. Only 3 mins walk to the beach

Not really a negative but if you want the Seaview apartment, you have to climb 3 floors which can be challenging in the heat but we were a bit fitter for it after.

Da Bungalows is a gem! I had the deluxe seaview room and had an amazing view! Yes, you have a steep way up, but it's definitely worth it! The room was very spacious with a full wall width window and balcony. Everything was clean and I felt completely safe. The lady operating da bungalows was super super sweet and nice and helped me with all I needed. Definitely would book this place again when I come back! Also the location was super nice. To the beach is just across the street, so less than 5 min walk. Also it's a short walk to the "center" of Kata Beach where you have the bars, but you have it really quiet for a good sleep and rest. Restaurants and shops are around, so everything you need is just right there! Thank you so much for this amazing stay!
