You are probably confused when booking a room in capadocia, but its simple there are 3 cities , Goreme, Ushisar , Urgup , the best is Goreme (this hotel), Urgup you dont see the ballons , Ushisar is far from the ballons and Goreme Ballons pratically go over the city waking you up literally , you get to take the famous pictures with lovely terraces (this hotel has one) ... There are 3 types of hotel in Goreme, City center street level stone hotels with almost no view, Middle level hotels , and the best higher hotels with paroramic views over the all valley (this hotel). The Lunar capadocia is a gem hotel, very beautiful cave hotel (real caves) , with the famous pigeon houses in the rocks , and lovely terraces where you can see the morning ballons and take the intagram pictures. The staff is lovely and friendly, they have a agency that helps you with ballon rides, tours and turkish night show (I so recomend this one is to much fun) The SPA room is very big, heated flor, jacuzzi very large room inside a cave. You have a parking space in the front of the hotel, bealive me if you rent a cart you will want those as it almost impossible to park a car o inside goreme. Breakfast is just OK could be much better, but its fair and have a good options not very luxurious but ok. In the day 01-2023 we had a ballon literary almost landing in the hotel waking everybody screaming "Happy new year", at first I wanted to shot the ballon down, but then everybody went out of the rooms into the garden and he had a very lovely experiencie, this is Lunar Capadocia

The hotel is still in construction so a lot of negleted areas , the hotel doest have a restaurante or food service , so you have to walk out for it, althougt you have excelente choices at walking distance. The doors and windows on the room are quite funky they make noises and they have a slack and bump with the wind. The hotel also doesnt have indoor, or outdoor swiming pool, I went in the winter so outdoor was somehow out of the question, but if you go in the summer and want to refresh and take a tan, you will lack this in the hotel. I think these issues will be addressed by the owner has they said , restaurant will open soon, and then probably the pool, so the price will probably double , so go there as soon as you can, if you wait for these upgrades you will pay much more....

Breakfast was reach enough, except coffee. Polite and friendly staff, clean, comfortable and warm room with a huge bathtub. Our room had a balcony, though it was more like porch - very pleasant place to drink Kappadokian wine at the evening with a great view. Also there was a terrace on the roof view point (though seamed to be closed). Unfortunately we didn't manage to watch the ballons as flights we canceled. The cutest thing was a whole cake that hotel granted me on my birthday.

About half of breakfast offerings that I didn't like and coffee wasn't strong (but it was possible to order turkish coffee). But still breakfast was very reach, so it could meet different tastes!

The location of the hotel was fantastic! - was walking distance to the town centre. The staff was very friendly and helpful from organising shuttle pick up to where and what to eat. The breakfast was the best we had in Turkey. Buffet style with a large range of food to select from ranging from savoury to sweet. An added bonus - no matter where you are at the hotel, there were amazing views.

Wished it did have a small restaurant or something at the hotel. Some of the other places have this and I guess after a long tour, you can just eat and sleep. But I’m saying that, there are restaurants near by.

Everything! I booked this hotel for my birthday as It’s been a dream of mine to stay there for so long and it lived up to all my expectations and more. The rooms and outside areas are spacious and clean, everything is tidy and the staff is INCREDIBLY nice and attentive. Ahmet was really kind since the start and kept looking after us every time he saw us. The breakfast was amazing, the simit and rose jam especially! And last but not least, ALL of the cats in the property made it even better (as if it wasn’t perfect already). Our stay here was really something to cherish forever and I wish everyone could experience it. Thank you to everyone who looked after us - Hepinize teşekkür ederim 🤍

EVERYTHING! From the cave room - staff! It’s PERFECT! The staff is amazing, super friendly( Numan and Banu have planned my whole stay, tours giving me the best advices and the best company tours). The room is huge with an amazing garden view, very clean! The breakfast is good and fresh every morning, there is a chef that makes fresh omelette in front of you. This hotel feels like home! I couldn’t book a better place! The location is fantastic, 5min walking distance there is the main Goreme market, and the top restaurant as well. The view from the terrace is beautiful.

Some rooms don’t have air conditioning and we went in August it was pretty hot with just a fan.

This place was an absolute steal for the money. I enjoyed my stay throughout, the facility was serene with beautiful assortments of flowers, amazing view of Gorem from the terrace. Breakfast was delicious with many choices and lasted until 10AM. Easy walk to the center city, my room was very large and a great jacuzzi tub. I want to go back to this hotel, I definitely give it 12/10 and appreciate the generosity of the staffs as well.

Review Stayed as a couple. Our room was beautiful and spacious and it was quiet and clean. It was like being in a lovely cave. Breakfast was exceptional with wide range of options to suit all tastes. The location was fabulous, offering amazing views and proximity to great restaurant options/positioned walking distance to major attractions and set amongst quaint streets. Staff were very helpful in arranging tours and offering recommendations for restaurants and sightseeing options. They were friendly and spoke very good English. Eda was exceptional with her efforts to assist us in arranging transport and tours, and Nurana was a wonderful breakfast host. Lovely gardens. We would definitely stay here again

Wish there was a restaurant attached for easier access to food and more lighting in the rooms. The room was pretty dim and hard to see. Wish employees explained the actives available in more detail. The prices they charge for actives through the hotel is more expensive that going directly to the activities place yourself.

very expensive tour options compared to tours online or sold in shops in the town breakfast minimal options- lots of sauces but not much substance and wasn’t asked for drinks, had to make hot drinks ourselves quite loud as rooms outside so can other guests when they are outside rooms very dimly lit and cannot see too well/read at bedside as so dim the terrace/bar is not set up, they plan to do it for this summer so the photo of the girl sat with the pillows and food is not realistic. very small 3x1m area of this set up with smelly damp pillows and carpet

The breakfast was exceptional, everything was so fresh and very good! Best breakfast I had in my entire stay in Turkey.

The way there was a little difficult to maneuver, very narrow and winding roads but this is just the way it is.
