Location of the Travellers Cave hotel is one of the best in Goreme area. You can view of the entire town from the top. The early morning view of the hot air balloons is magical and surreal. Absolutely not to be missed. The hotel also provides multiple seating areas on the open terrace where you can experience and capture your magical moments by taking pictures. So go for it if you are visiting Cappadocia.

The bathrooms could have been bigger.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Cave Hotel in Cappadocia, and I must say it was an absolutely excellent experience. From the moment I arrived, I was captivated by the unique charm and ambiance of the hotel. The accommodation itself, nestled within the breathtaking caves of Cappadocia, was nothing short of extraordinary. The rooms were not only beautifully designed but also incredibly comfortable. I loved the rustic yet elegant décor that perfectly blended modern amenities with the historical surroundings. One of the highlights of my stay was the stunning panoramic views from the hotel's terrace. The sweeping vistas of the fairy chimneys, the surreal landscape of Cappadocia, and ballons in the morning were simply breathtaking. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for an extraordinary and memorable experience in Cappadocia.

One of the most beautiful hotels we have ever been to. Big rooms, decorated beautifully. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Very good housekeeping and service staff. Breakfast is traditional and very good. The views you get from the rooftop of the hotel are breathtaking. Balloons fly right above you and in front of you in the morning. Restaurant food for dinner and lunch were not many to choose from, but enough and delicious. Price was much better than outside of the hotel. Couple this with the fact that you can order a hookah and enjoy it from that magnificent view, no restaurant in town could beat that. Highly recommend! Will definitely be back.

Nothing to complain about

The staff at this hotel were very nice and helpful with good English and connections all around town for various services. It is hard to compare it to other hotels because we have never slept in a cave hotel! The shower pressure was excellent. The view was incredible and there was no need to take a trip to the tall vantage point in Cappadocia to see the balloons at sunrise. They came so close to the hotel that you could hear them firing up and clearly see the passengers. Any closer would have been downright dangerous.

The bathtub in the middle of the room did not have very good jets at all. The bed linens and towels could use a refresh. There are about 80 steps leading up to the rooms or a big steep hill to climb. This is the trade off for the breathtaking view. It cost about $1.50 to get a taxi from town up the hill to the hotel. Once we figured this out we felt less isolated. The breakfast was not enjoyable to us. More yogurt, fruit, and pasteries would help along with taking out the honeycomb covered in bees.

We stay in Junior suites room no. 11, 12, 20. Room no.11,12 are at the back of the hotel so you cannot see a lot of balloons even you have your own terrace. Room no. 20 is at the front so you can enjoy the view of balloons from your room. Jacuzzi is quite big. Hot water is hot enough for taking bath in winter. We open the air conditioner at night so that it is not too cold. Hotel located at the most highest point, so we can enjoy view of Goreme town and the view of balloons in the morning. Most of staffs are nice, helpful. The owner help us to unfreeze the car. There is a walk way from hotel to Goreme town, you can ask the staff for this walk way. I think this place give me the precious moments in Cappadocia.

There are some staffs that quite cold and just give you standard service.

Great hotel with very nice view over the Goreme city and with beautifull view when balloons fly ... We had a great room junior suite with jacuzzi that was wonderfull to use it ... Room was the same great u feel in it , how people lived there long time ago but now a modern style cave ... Outside nice 2 terraces from where u can made the best photos with all the caves around ... Food was very good we had just breakfast ... At reception 2 guys I don't remember their names (I think didn't asked for names :) ),were very helpfull, we made via them balloon flight at very good price + they were always kind and asking how they can help us ,they offered us when needed free transport down to city ... Thx to all staff all was great for us and we can just recommend this hotel to all that want to visit Goreme and want to have beat views and very noce hotel ...

The location was one of the best places to get up in the morning and watch the hot air balloons. The staff were amazing, friendly and helpful. Hotel is close to all shops and restaurants. Room was beautiful and clean. Big lovely breakfasts.

Couldn't have dinner at hotel they said there was no chef. Had to go out instead and eat but all we wanted was to relax and enjoy staying at the hotel resort for the evening. Therefore we felt the cost was a bit expensive to stay when we could even eat at our accommodation. Laundry service was disappointing cloths washed clean but they did not fold them just scrunched them all into one bag all creased up badly and some cloths still damp not dry.

The property was absolutely lovely. From the facilities to the staff, amazing! We booked the rooftop terrace sunrise breakfast to watch the air balloons and the breakfast was 10/10. So much effort and care went into it. Couldn’t fault it. Although we did have to move the breakfast inside because it attracted a lot of bee’s (which is no fault of the staff) even an adorable puppy to play with in the reception. The room was beautiful, the grounds were lovely. Nice chill area with a chilled jacuzzi (I’m sure heated in winter) overlooking a beautiful view.

There were quiet a few stairs and very steep stairs to get down to our room which was fine for us but probably not ideal for an older guests or guest with unstable co ordination

Location was excellent!! Situated on top of a hill, from where the view of the entire Goreme town is phenomenal - during the day and the night when the town is well lit up! The property seemed like a photographers paradise as they hd many photo ops corners created along with props to make for memorable photos. The best part was watching 70+ balloons from the hotel terrace!

We had booked a Triple room which was small in size for a Triple room! Apparently the property didnt have a bigger room for us to upgrade to. The pillows were not very comfortable and the bathroom had a bit of a smell.

The breakfast was relatively poor. Not so many options. If you won’t come around the beginning of breakfast majority of dishes would be gone.

Only 2 bottles of water for free per day. During our stay we had power outage regularly. Poor breakfast. Laundry cervices we’re very fast, however they have spoiled my hoodie. They have washed it with something dark and then they have it back to me and pretended it was this way. I didn’t complain - this service is just 7 euro per 5 kg but yet, very unfortunate.
