We fairly liked the location, although it is not the best someone can choose. We liked the temperature in the room. And the kindness of the two boys from the reception office.

DEFINITELY not a 9.3 rating hotel. I think 7.5 would be a better rating. everything is over dated, the bathroom looks horrible, water has no pressure, walls are full of stains, everything on the terrace is dirty. We even found some man underwear on the fan in the room from other visitors. 😏 They knocked at our door twice, in the first night at 10.30 pm and in the last one at 10.00 pm to move the car in the parking. This situation was not very pleasant at all, we were in bed, almost asleep. This was our fourth time in Istanbul by car and we have never had a situation like this.

I had a great experience at the hotel. The staff, especially Robert the property owner, was incredibly friendly and professional. He was very helpful and supportive during our stay. They even allowed us to check out late without any extra fees and let us leave our belongings at the hotel for the day. The room was spacious and had all the necessary amenities like a microwave, fridge, and electric cooker, as well as very good Wi-Fi. The location is very convenient, just an 8-minute walk from the Sultan Ahmed tram station. However, the road to the hotel is quite steep, so it may not be suitable for older individuals.

Before I arrive I received an email telling me to pay via a link (i did not). Once i arrived they told me they did not know who or how was sent the email....the message was sent via Booking.... It was a scam. I ask them to arrange me a taxi for the airport in the Asian side. They told me no problem, it is$800, which they made me pay the night before my flight. I specifically asked them if there was another fee to cover and they told me not to, nothing more. At the end I had to pay $200 extra (around 7USD) to the taxi driver to take the fastest route, if not it will take me 2hours to get to the airport....

The staff was amazing, they helped us with everything we needed. The location is great because you are close to almost everything. The room had sockets, mirrors, lots of lights, hangers in the closet, air conditioning and many others... I can safely say that we had eveything.(we also got a free upgrade to a family suite) The value for money is unmatchable in my opinion.

The bathroom is not the best, the shower needs some small repairs/adjustments (nothing is broken or dirty) and the pillows were a bit stiff.

Very nice and comfy place. Very clean, with friendly cats sleaping on the small chair outside. Room is equiped with small We definitely come back here Staff is verkitchen with microwave, and kattle. We like a district (Fatih)a lot. It has very friendly atmosphere and you do not feel as a toursit. Three are small retaurants, and shop around.

There were no things we do not like. You are in few minutes near Blue Mosque. Camberlites is 10 minutes away (but you have to climb a bit). Location might be difficult for people with walking problem, that is the only thing you may not like. But something for something. Atmosphere here is great.

- Location is super good. You can walk to almost all the important sites and those you cannot are very easy to reach with an istanbulkart - Staff is very friendly and helpful. Thanks for letting us print a few documents needed for our onward trip :-) - Good value for money

- Bathroom is really really small - Rooms are not soundproof - Yes the room is fully equipped with cookware and cutlery but there is no stove so you cannot cook - I would not say it is a quiet area, in fact there is often noise until 01:00 and from 06:00 - Wi-Fi does not work extremely well but it suffices These things were not a big problem for us but it differs a bit from what it says in the description and I think that that could lead to misinformation

The location was great but pls keep in mind if you are travelling with young children or babies (in pushchairs )or old people(using wheelchairs),it is in quite a hilly area,and it may be challenging for them to navigate their way to and from the hotel. For people who don't have these issues then it is still quite a challenging walk at times, especially in the heat,however great for getting fit. Having said that,it's still within 8 mins approx walking distance from the Hippodrome,Blue Mosque and Aya Sofia and there are many little supermarkets, restaurants (for breakfast and lunch/dinner) and launderettes etc around in the near vicinity. The hotel staff are very quick to respond (via whatsapp or otherwise) and very flexible. Especially Muhammed Moin,he helped us out with late check out and very late check in also. Thank you Muhammed! The cleaning was fine,could have given a little more attention to detail,for example one of our pillow covers was ripped on both sides. Muhammed very promptly replaced the pillows for us. The fact that each room has a microwave and kettle,is very handy as often it's difficult to re heat leftovers. The fridge and kitchen area was clean and AC was very efficient. One downside is no lift. However overall we had a great stay at Capricorn. Thank you!

Nice & cozy place Cleaning service everyday (no extra charge) Although the weather outside was kind of cold, in the room was such a pleasant temperature that we slept in the underwear Free toiletries & kitchen stuff

The only remark is about the water system which I suppose it’s linked to each room so when other people were using the hot water, the upper floors needed to wait a little bit - but anyway, was not much of a trouble

I can't even describe how AMAZING was my experience, the rooms are so clean and comfortable. Since our arrival, the staff amazing and helpful, the owner is super nice too, and everyone is SO nice. The beds are super comfortable the room is super big, the toilet is super clean and the small kitchen is super functional. The location is amazing, everything is near, you have supermarkets, restaurants, cafes, the tram everything near. GUYS stay here 10000000% , don't even look more on booking , this is it !, recommended I will come back for sure. Special thanks to Ali , he made our experience super nice.

The staff is very helpful especially Ali and Faizan , the location is perfect nearby the tram station 5 minutes walk and the historical places is 10 minutes walk (Sultan Ahmed and Aya Sofia ) . The room equipped with kitchen tools if you want to cook in addition supermarket is 2 minutes apart and restaurant also so near. The hotel is so close to the sea side which provide a charming view see the attached video.

It has no elevator we were in the fourth floor , the reception help us for carrying our bags but for older people i think it could be a challenge . to reach the hotel you have to go through some stairs but this is the nature of most Istanbul areas
