Spacious room, total 70m2, cleanliness of hotel in general, especially room. Concierge helpfulness in arranging trips, restuarants and other requirements. The adjacent shopping mall with large supermarket, fast food outlets. Beach and swimming pool cleanliness, layout, enough sunbeds around both. Gym good equiped. Food very fresh, large buffet selection at breakfast, main restuarant evening excellent choice of food and meats etc. Serving staff friendly.

Older room 416, needs wall paper replacing, lacks power sockets, all used for lighting, tv etc. None available near desk, need to put multi socket adapter to give access for computer, phone charging, ereaders etc. Note the room was keep very clean with great service by Housekeeping staff & Room service. Too long to wait to be served on beach bar, food took long to arrive and was nearly cold several times, especially french fries. Same issues in Azur restuarant. Same daily minor issues at breakfast, never eggcups for boiled eggs, lack of spoons in general Recommend more control by management personnel in the details in these areas.

Full board option! Quite and empty beach A small mall with money exchange point is available right from the hotel Spacious rooms with both a bath and shower. Just to mention. There is a window between bathroom and bedroom which can be made transparent or not.

Great rooms, very comfortable. The hotel is near Yas island so useful if you are planning to go there. The "beach" might iddsapoint some people as it is on a channel and not at all on the golf. But if you already know this like I did, then you are ok with it. Pool is big and beautiful. The food at this hotel is very good and breakfast is a must.

The music band by the pool was very loud and played until 10h30pm one night. It should always stop at 10pm maximum in my opinion. The indoor pool should be included in the price.

Big place and some how its comfortable

They did not solve the bugs issue in villas. The a/c was very cold and could not reduce it even after calling the maintenance

We stayed seven days right after new year’s in the newer side of the hotel. The room was very spacious with a high ceiling and large windows to the balcony, overlooking water. The bathroom was just as good as it also was very big with both a shower and bathtub. The room service and cleaning were excellent, they also provided a candy, water bottles and some rose petals everytime they cleaned the room. The free waterbottles were a big plus since we never had to buy our own. The common areas in the hotel were good, there was a lot of different seating options both inside and outside, such as hammocks and large comfy chairs. The pool area was also very big, so was the beach area too. They had also decorated the areas very beautifully with many lights outside and christmas decorations since we stayed right after the holidays. They also had many different activities every day, such as water aerobics, kids activities, nature walks and movie time. We had booked the half pension so we got both dinner and breakfast at the hotel, which was very convinient and because the food was good we were very happy with that choice. Both dinner and breakfast had many different options to choose from, there were many different kinds of foods and they had also divided them into different countries so that you got to try many new foods as well. They also had a huge selection of desserts, maybe too much to choose from since you wanted to eat everything. The staff were excellent, always smiling, genuine and it really seemed like they wanted to help you. There also was many people working in the staff which was good. The free shuttle bus also worked excellent with a good driver, and they drove several times per day (except to the mosque which was once a day). The hotel was conviniently placed right next to a shopping mall, which housed both restaurants and a grocery store. Can recommend the le coin cafe at the mall.

The bed was a bit hard and uncomfortable. Some places in the room were a bit dirty, but it was just because it was a bit old, not because it wasn’t cleaned propertly. Since we were staying in the newer side we always had to walk a bit to get to the elevators since that side of the building was kinda seperate from everything else, but we got used to it. There wasn’t any stairs you could quickly take to go to places so you always had to use an elevator to go elsewhere, even down to the pool area. The pool was also a bit cold, but we also got used to that.

The service at the Al Raha is exceptional. In every service area all of the staff are attentive, courteous, helpful and friendly - always willing to help. Although it's difficult to single out individuals, three deserve a mention. Ms Hind, part of the Hotel first aid team was invaluable when my wife stumbled and cut a vein in her hand. Late at night Ms Hind turned out and bandaged the hand and solved what would have been an otherwise very difficult issue. In the restaurant, Marc was outstanding. Always treating guests with incredible politeness, quickly making sure we had a table at breakfast and, after just two days, knew exactly where we liked to sit. We can't praise him enough. The Concierge staff were also so polite and helpful, particularly Arafat who, from day one, made us feel at home. An outstanding hotel!

The only issue we had was when my Son, Daughter in Law and Grandaughter (20 months) came by the hotel to see us. The staff at the pool reception area, assuming we all wanted to swim, insisted on me paying about £84 for access to the pool. I refused to pay as we were actually not swimming (except the baby) and were only there for half an hour. Beware if you have guests and they want to use the pool and garden facilities as you will be charged for guest access.

The rooms are spacious and clean. The staff are friendly and helpful.

Dinner is not varied, restaurant staff (in the evening) are not friendly. The hotel offers the possibility for guests to book a table. Therefore - if you do not make a reservation - you walk for 20 minutes and look for a free table.

The kids facilities were great. The pool with the slides and the playground were well used by our son. The beach is lovely and we had loads of fun there too. The kids club was well organised with good activities. We were half board and enjoyed the food. The hotel bus to the local attractions was also useful. We were able to enjoy a late check out which was appreciated. The Gulf view room was lovely and big, even with an extra bed. The bathroom facilities were excellent. Would stay here again.

The beds were hard but pillows were comfortable. The theme nights in the restaurant were enjoyable but could be more regular. The kids club doesn't start until 11am and this would be better if earlier.

Very nice stay for the whole family. The food was excellent and there was a big variety. Staff was very kind and attentive. The complementary shuttle service is a good idea.

The spa area is under renovation and we were not aware of this. There ware misunderstandings around the pick up times from the mosque but we were grateful to have this option anyway.
