Breakfast buffet has limited options, same menu every day

This hotel was a pleasant surprise. We were looking for a quiet room with blackout curtains so we could had a quality sleeping experience. We got that and more. Not only were the rooms super quiet and dark but also very spacious and cozy with a very comfy bed. The hotel is recently renovated so everything looks brand new. It is a smaller hotel which gives a good ambience and the staff is super friendly and help you with everything. Special thanks to Salman (taking care of our room) and the pool guy. They took care of the cleanliness of our room and the pool. Everything was spic and span, they really have an eye for detail. But also the staff in the lobby is super friendly and welcome you everyday with a smile. Unfortunately the hot tub was gone but the extra bonus is that you can use the one in the other Meridien hotel close by and also make use of the pool area there. Thank you all for this amazing stay. We would love to come back one time!

Good breakfast selection, clean rooms, helpful staff, cosiness / hospitality of the staff, personal approach, whe it comes to check-in / out / special requests.

Rooms a bit outdated, maybe needs some maintenance / refurbishment to be completed. Pool area needs some doing, to ensure more attractive to visit (i.e. maybe new sun beds, umbrellas, some repair works on the tiles, etc.

Customer service desk staff were excellent. Special credit to Mr Raman for going the extra mile to explain and assist on all matters.

The room was large enough. The possibility of opening the window is a very good option, especially in the evening, in contrast with other hotels. I had read some comments regarding the "tiredness" of room and bath facilities. Sure, the room doesn't look as modernized but good enough, especially in terms of cost. As for bathroom facilities - no issue, at least in my case. Location has some tricks, please keep it in mind. Main metro "traffic flow" from Airport2Expo direction in the morning and vice versa in the evening. The crowd of people coming onto the metro train at the first station having a junction with a green line. So you should be not so far from the exit door if you going to leave the train to central stations such as the World Trade Center or Burj Khalifa, due to the high density of people. Backwards travellers around 6 - 7 p.m. may have issues getting into the train. While I am not gourmet I haven't any problem with breakfast. Maybe it was not too divergent but it was good and tasty. Especially taking into account еhe attitude of the staff and the desire to help as well as a very positive and friendly attitude. My kind regards to all of them

Having a habit of being in a brightly lit room, as well as the need to work at a desk in the evening, I did not have enough lighting in the room. However, I solved this specific problem by dragging the floor lamp to the desktop. Perhaps those who spend more time in the room than me will find other shortcomings, but I am talking about my experience. PS. Carrefour (As well as a big Trade centre for other shopping) was located "one metro stop away" (metro Deira City Center, exit 1). It can be considered as both pro and contra. It would be better to have it in the vicinity, but such distance is still appropriate.

We stayed for nearly a week, and I must say that the service was simply par excellence! A special mention goes to Vasanthi, whose invaluable assistance in guiding us on how to get around Dubai truly enhanced our experience. Despite our early arrival, Vasanthi helped us with our rooms as we had a child with us. Her thoughtful support was much appreciated. The breakfast offerings were delightful, featuring a diverse and appealing selection of food right from idlys and parathas to stirfry noodles and shiu mai. The housekeeping team also deserves praise for their prompt responses to our requests. Overall, our stay at Le Méridien Fairway Hotel was nothing short of amazing, and we are grateful for the warm hospitality provided. We will definitely return.

Breakfast was superb. Even though the spread was not very large as other 5 stars, but they were serving hot items on the table, like eggs, porridge, museli, etc. Staff was extra courteous and helpful.

Works perfectly for stopovers. Quiet, close to airport, nice staff, excellent rooms and beds. They provide plenty of free safe drinking water. To get there there, don't bother with the dodgy Dubai airport taxi service: just catch the metro train from the Airport direct to the nearby GGICO metro station, walk out on the South side, turn right and walk (West) to 2nd street (200 metres), turn left (South) into 2nd Street, and in 200 metres you come to the unmarked hotel rear entrance laneway. Just 7 minutes walk, and we`re in our 70s. This advice doesn't apply however if you`re burdened with lots of baggage! Dubai is hot! We did this on our second visit. Worked perfectly, and thereafter for getting around the Dubai sights. On our first visit we took the taxi to Le Meridian. The driver took us on a world tour, which I followed on Google GPS map. Hilarious! When challenged he said, to justify himself, the Airport charged an exorbitant amount to operate out of the Terminal and he has to run up the extra kilometres to pay his operating costs. That could well be true, everything you can buy at Dubai Airport is exorbitant, but, be warned.

Le Meriden Fairway was a pleasant place to stay recently for 05 days. The GGICO metro station is conveniently located near the hotel, making it simple for visitors to explore the city and even get to the airport — unless it's midnight, in which case the metro isn't running! The staff was incredibly warm and welcoming. Both the check-in and check-out processes went without a hitch. The fact that they offer daily room cleaning was a plus in addition to the cleanliness of the rooms. The hotel's mezzanine floor has on-site dining options and swimming pools. They provide unlimited free water bottles upon request and offer a variety of in-room eating alternatives. They also offer shuttle services to the airport. However, these are typically only available in the morning. Please have them checked with the reception team. Free WiFi is also available, and I found that it was faster at night than in the morning. Additionally, there was a hair dryer and an ironing board in the room. Furthermore, there are two Le Meridian hotels close to the airport; therefore, be cautious about where the driver takes you. I enjoyed the hotel overall and would suggest it!

The laundry was supposed to be included on the package and apparently they denied saying that my package doesn't include.

The room was comfortable without being flashy -- I think the hotel is older than its larger sister which has the conference centre but, if you want more dining and entertainment options, there is a free shuttle to that other hotel. Anyway, the Fairway's neighbourhood is interesting and it's even in walking distance of the City Mall. I'm particularly glad I took the breakfast option as it was excellent and reasonably priced by Dubai standards. Most importantly, the staff at reception were simply superb: friendly, helpful and cheerful.
