the whole experience was amazing, the rooms were clean and nice the bathrooms very hygienic and neat, part of the experience is rubie she was amazing and kind and very sweet and helpful, once we needed to check in after checking out she helped us out very much. she welcomed us very well while we were pressured she helped us get a room three hours before the date and she helped us settle after we missed our flight . we thank rubie very very much and just because of the way she treated us we will always comeback. all the other workers were also really helpful

Great overnight stay from Dubai airport, as we caught our early morning flight to Ankara the next day! Hotel is a quick 3 minute drive from the airport, and super magnificent when you enter inside! Very grand, and lovely experience! Our only regret is that we didn’t stay longer!! We were lucky to get upgraded to an executive suite, as we needed to sleep due to our early morning flight! The food looked great at their buffet dinner option, but we were too tired to eat! The pool also looked lovely out the window, a few families enjoying themselves!

Staff was very helpful. I booked the hotel on the same morning I checked in and explained to them my situation of staying in the hotel only for one night due to flight change schedules. They quickly accomodated me and my family despite it was not yet the checkin time. They advised that Ill get only smoking rooms at this time and allowed me to visit before I agree. The room was spacious and clean, despite being a smoking room, the odor was not that bad and we decided afterall to stay in that same room. The room had a small balcony as the room was facing the pool. The wardrobe was spacious and the bed was comfortable.

The design of the bathroom was a bit old fashioned. The way the bidet was installed is not meant for a 5 star hotel. Overrall it can be rated a 4* for Dubai. Worth the price though.

The amenities and staff were excellent,all the way from reception to housekeeping and bell boys nothing was too much trouble, I had a minor issue with the first room that was allocated to me but the issue was rectified promptly the day after checking-in, and the amenities were stocked up very regular like bottled water, tea, coffee and bathroom essential items also plentiful amd the check-in and check out was very efficient

Could do with leaving more toilet paper when making up the room as this was left sparingly

There was a lovely ambience about the place. The decor is quite colonial, like stepping back in time and the staff really look after you. But to be honest, you get that level of service wherever you go in Dubai. It’s a 10 minute drive from the airport and the taxi cost 30 dirhams (about £6). There is a free shuttle service, twice daily, to the Festival City Mall. The breakfast bar is absolutely superb with every type of food you could imagine and in the evenings there are themed nights with different foods: eg Sushi, Indian. The hotel is quite centrally located if you prefer to dine out. The beds were so comfy and there are smart TV’s in all of the rooms with a good choice of channels. I would definitely go back there again and can fully recommend this hotel.

Lost Glory. A beautiful hotel with lots of good thinking in the design of each room. a spacious and beautiful one. large closet. good balcony. the ambiance is good and the lobby is marvelous. The staff is welcoming and helpful.

the bath is old. the tap was connected to Bidet which is a bit strange to use it. you need to open the BIdet Tap and while it is running it is attached to the main water tap. There were insects that needs to use pesticides.

The staff are amazing and very helpful. They will go above and beyond to be courteous and helpful, and always great you with a smile. Alvin in particular left a lasting impression with his enthusiasm and level of service. Thank you! Don't expect 5* luxury, but I have slept as comfortably in this hotel as some of the high end Saadiyat hotels.

The only thing that we did not like was the fact that they had a BBQ buffet/party on our second night by the swimming pool, right in front of our room. This went on past 10pm, and made it difficult for our little boy to sleep. It was rather loud, and I wish they would've informed us so that perhaps we would've chosen a different room.

The single outstanding feature of this hotel was the staff, particularly 'Stella' at reception, who was professional, pleasant, knowledgable, and welcoming. Receptionists as the first point of contact are often overlooked [unless there is a complaint!] Stella was however everything a weary visitor could hope for on arrival - exceptional in every regard. Well done Movenpick on having such a fine ambassador as first point of contact - the star of the stay.
