Our planes from the USA had delayed our vacation departure a whole day and a half which put stress in our lives and a change in plans, bringing us to Townhouse Aberfeldy almost by chance. Our first night saw us 6 sitting in the bar lounge area just before its close. The bartender & workers were exceptionally hospitable, making time for us and even creating an “American Lemonade” from scratch for our adult daughter with Down Syndrome. Very Special! Our breakfast the next morning was also exceptional - beginning and ending with the warm and friendly (and witty) hospitality of Monty and Heather. They were in the middle too, along with the excellent coffee, tea, juice and food, attentive and serving with an engaging personal touch.

We were sorry to have to leave after only one night, but we’d already missed one of our only two nights booked in Dornie, so had to go. No complaints.

Room was spacious and the presence of comfortable chairs added to satisfaction. Breakfast was well above satisfactory. Having a breakfast special added mystery! Staff were all friendly and efficient

Room was a little stuffy . The weather was hot and windows couldn’t be opened so it became a little airless. We do feel we could have informed staff so it really was our own mistake to own? Similarly we would have liked a bath mat as beautiful shower floor became slippy but we recognise we only had to ask. Perhaps placing one rolled up somewhere for guests to choose to use or not?

We loved the location of the Townhouse, almost central to everything, plus great it has free parking. Hotel was nice and clean & beds were nice and comfy. The breakfast was amazing, we simply couldn't fault it at all, dinning area was lovely. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this hotel.

We would have liked a separate removable shower hose on the shower, instead of only having the overhead shower, especially if your not wanting the water over your face, which I don't like, or wet hair even with a cap on. We also thought there wasn't a great variety of food on the evening menu and a bit pricey for what you got. Steak, steak pie or chicken breast would have been nice. We also found it pretty warm in our room at night, as if no air circulating and that was our window open all night. These are miner things that wouldn't put us off coming back, as we still enjoyed our stay.

Staff were incredible, so welcoming and friendly. A beautiful old building full of character that has been so sensitively and stylishly restored. The breakfast was delicious especially the white choc and raspberry porridge and the delectable melt in the mouth eggs benedict. We will most definitely return to this gem of a hotel in the charming and attractive town of Aberfeldy.

The standard was exceptionally high throughout. Only minor niggle was being in a economy double I could hear the people in the adjoining room, however this wasn't detrimental to a most enjoyable stay

We were delighted with every aspect of our stay. Although our room was described as an economy room, it was plush, stylish and comfortable, as was the rest of the hotel. Dinner in the restaurant was delicious, as was the vegetarian breakfast the next morning – all served by highly professional and friendly, but unobtrusive, staff. Our main reason for choosing The Townhouse was the fact that we knew we would be able to charge our electric car safely and conveniently in the hotel's car park using one of its two electric type-2 chargers, a process which went completely smoothly.

We loved everything about our stay.

The room and en-suite was immaculate. Fresh and Clean. The staff's training was exceptional - everyone we interacted with was welcoming, and they were genuinely glad to see us. The breakfast staff were on point; nothing was too much trouble, constant refills of coffee and the food was much better than we expected for a three-star hotel. I think the staff make this charming hotel a real welcoming place.

The paintwork in the top-floor stairwell was seen as an oh-no moment of foreboding. But to be clear, the rooms and corridors on the floor were perfect.

The staff!! All well trained, helpful, fun to engage with and couldn't be beaten anywhere else I have stayed. Breakfast was amazing so fresh, perfectly cooked from the eggs, to the bacon and the potato scones. Even the hash browns were crisp on the outside, fluffy in the middle! Also had an evening meal, menu very little choice (unless you like burgers!) however very good quality but a bit pricey.

Double bed in room 2 a little small, not a king. Pillows were too soft so got neck ache should have asked if they have alternatives I guess. Wife didnt sleep very well.

This hotel offers lovely accommodations, great food and excellent service. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the annex and were very pleased with the generous size, modern décor, and cleanliness of the room. Breakfast was cooked to order with numerous options available. We were especially grateful for their responsiveness to our dietary needs. Dinners were also quite good with several menu options as well as a few specials. We left with wonderful memories and dream of a return visit someday soon.

We were in Aberfeldy for a short stay. Have been to the area many times, always staying in private rentals. However we will definetley be back to Aberfeldy Townhouse. Room was excellent, comfy, well lit, well decorated and the perfect space to unwind after a days walking and whiskying. Staff were excellent throughout. Very friendly and attentive. Included breakfast is very good. Dinner was also very good. Bar has an excellent selection of drinks and the restaruant itself is well furnished and has a nice atmosphere. Would highly recomend if you are planning a trip to the area

Nothing stands out as being a negative. Would highly recomend to anyone.

The Townhouse Hotel exceeded my expectations, this hotel should be 5 star - from entering the hotel to check-in we were welcomed by staff that went above and beyond to make you feel that you were there top priority - the hotel was spotless, the staff were first class polite and friendly and the bedrooms beautiful - and the dining experience was beyond a doubt the best hotel restaurant I have ate in for a long time - highly recommended and I certainly will be back . Well done to everyone who run and work here 👏 👍
