The location was absolutely stunning and with bus stop right outside, beautiful greenery everywhere around. The room was clean and got tidied every time we went out. The staff was extremely nice, my husband has lots of allergies and they made sure he had a nice meal that he could eat. I wear a face veil and they gave us a separate space for breakfast so I could take my veil off while eating and have a comfortable pleasant experience. I wish I could give more stars, we will 100% come again, best hotel we’ve been to so far! Keep up the great work!

The breakfast was very good. The attic room was in a quiet location. Plenty of hot water to use the large bath. Friendliness of the restaurant staff, some of whom were also room maintenance/cleaning staff.

No working lock on bedroom door. No view out with it being an attic room but only minor problem. Main problem would be for anyone smaller than me being unable to reach the bedroom roof window cord to close/open the blind. Very creaky floorboards between bedroom and bathroom. Although a single room, this could be annoying during the night for anyone in nearby or lower room.

The room was very pleasant and clean. Breakfast was excellent and incredibly varied (vegetarian food available) . The hotel team has always been friendly, patient and helpful (especially Michael and Steven) That impressed us the most. The price performance ratio is very good. We travelled on a motorbike and we needed a secure parking - there was a parking on site but the owner offered us even more secure parking behind the gate (space used by the hotel only). Thank you. We enjoyed our stay very much and highly recommend this hotel.

The hotel was lovely room very clean. We had a four poster bed which we weren't expecting. The room was a little bit creaky but certainly didn't ruin our stay. Times of Breakfast were good well spaced out food came out pipping hot, and plenty of choices. The staff worked very hard and were always very welcoming. Very pleased with our stay and will certainly book here again x about 4 miles away from the safari park one of the main reasons we booked the hotel..

Room was clean and tidy and had everything we needed. We asked not to be put any higher than first floor and we were given a ground floor room so our request was acknowledged. Nice bar come lounge area to sit in. Breakfast was very nice and plenty of variety. Staff all helpful and friendly. Plenty of onsite parking. Quiet albeit the hotel was on a main road.

Only thing we found was that the pillows were on the hard side.

The people running the hotel (including Peter, Lisa and Molly) are very welcoming and obliging. I stayed in the annex. I thought the room, bathroom, furnishing and level of comfort was excellent. A delicious cooked breakfast with plenty of choice was included.

There wasn't anything that I didn't like.

The hotel was very friendly staff where lovely and helpful will diffentley stay again

Dining was lovely nice choice of menu staff where lovely the thing that let it down was the eggs bendict with Cumbria ham as the muffin wasn't toasted and the ham was packaged very cheap wafer thin and sauce was luke warm , but toast coffee and juice was good so didn't make any complaints as the hotel was excellent

I booked a suite in the hotel as there were two of us travelling for work. The rooms were big with high ceilings and comfortable. Massive windows with a view over the garden. The bathroom and shower were also good. Breakfast was well cooked and simple but really good.

Im not sure what the situation is with the hotel but there seemed to be a lack of staff. The staff that were there did their best so hats off to them. The sofa bed wasnt made up when we got there, an issue with house keeping I believe but the guy on reception immediately sorted it.

Very quiet and pleasant little hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful at all times. Breakfast was lovely combination of cooked and continental. Can’t fault our stay there. It was also close to the town centre and the places that we needed to visit. Lovely spacious car park

Can’t think of anything
