Overall, I was quite impressed with the Hotel, it's facilities and the rooms were spotless and well laid out - tea & coffee was plentiful and the room was quite large. Also, there was good soundproofing from downstairs which was a great plus. Shower was also excellent.

The only grumble I had was the heating wasn't switched on before I arrived in the Hotel, the room was freezing cold on arrival and the only source of heat is a wall mounted electric heater - it was a cold evening and it took ages to get warm. The other confusing part is that although it is advertised as a B&B - they don't do any kind of breakfast, which I thought was a bit odd, Maybe next time?

Rooms were good sized, very clean and aired, attractive and comfortable. Very useful having a bar and cafe downstairs and being so near the venues our Norman Nicholson Festival events were being held (and noise didn’t carry!)

For reasonably inexpensive accommodation, all pretty good but a few more hooks/ towel rial in bathroom would be useful plus my entry door was a bit rattle - might need adjustment to stop banging .

Location great in the middle of Millon and easy access to surrounding areas. Food 10/10 - both dinner and breakfast and nice black coffee. Bedroom nicey and roomy for 2 night stay and fan was a nice touch given the heat Friendly staff .

Bed in room very noisy- needs looked at . Chrome fixtures in bathroom needs polished .

Room was comfortable and spotless, right in the centre and very close to the station, staff and pub customers were very friendly from the time I arrived. Would stay again for sure.

The pub might be a bit rough round the edges for some, but for me it was perfect, a drinkers, workers pub.

Center of town. Very short walking distance to groceries, shops, and take aways. Easy car park. Both restaurant and pub on the ground floor (family friendly). Recently remodeled rooms/hallways. Free WiFi for guests.

No breakfast, but early morning bakery across the street, Nisa co-op around the corner, and Tesco one block away.

This hotel was as advertised, the check in staff were more than helpful giving us a side entrance to use for later on as we had a small child with us. The room was big enough with everything we needed.

There were no bad issues about it at all. There is some food places right outside and around the corner. Just 1 Chinese place which was quite a long wait but nothing to moan about!

The Bedroom was very very clean, the bed was really comfortable had a good nights sleep.

Property location good also free parking behind & a very large bar downstairs, no problems people were very friendly.

Staff friendly, room spotless, tea coffee in room, made to feel very welcome from the moment you walked in Food that was being served was of superb quality, freshly made in their kitchen, prices priced very competitive so great value for money

Nothing everything was in line with expectations

The central position was ideal for walking, to visit our family, and to walk the beautiful costal paths. Living over the pub was convenient for evening meals and entertainment, while the sound insulation ensured a good nights sleep. Staff were quick to get the TV fixed. The room was new and clean with modern facilities.

Being a pub, kitchen staff were not available to make a breakfast. We searched for a café, but because of Covid the two in the town had closed down. However the bakery across the street sold breakfast sandwiches, cakes and coffee.

Great location, beautiful beach few minute drive away. Stayed here with friend to go hiking up Scafell Pike. Exceptionally clean rooms, newly refurbished property, comfortable beds. Linen including towels were fresh smelling. Staff were welcoming and friendly. Overall a very good stay.

No opening windows in the room to let fresh air in. Not sure if it was just the room we were staying in but a fan was provided which helped as it was quite hot, mid July. If the weather temperature was any hotter then this could have been an unbearable situation which is a shame as the refurb is done to a high standard
