Absolutely charming and we received a very warm welcome. It was my birthday and I found a large helium balloon and a birthday card in our room. That has never happened to me before and I have travelled extensively. Great breakfast and comfortable beds. The proprietor Joss and her team were very helpful with suggestions as to what to do and tips about getting there. They also booked dinner in the local pub for us. The property itself was in a beautiful, tranquil location and was full of interesting objects from all over the world.

Everything! This place is exceptional, something special. It exudes an atmosphere of love, care, tranquillity and healing. All the staff are attentive, professional, courteous, kind, welcoming and friendly. The rooms are immaculate and tastefully furnished with all amenities and luxury extras. Attention to detail everywhere. The gardens are a joy to look out on over breakfast and wander or sit in, and the fresh air and quiet are restorative. We loved the farm animals and how much they are all part of the 'family'. The food first rate. The service high standard. It all worked together in perfect harmony.

Can't think of a thing!

Beautiful place to stay with gorgeous grounds. The room was lovely, clean and very comfortable. The host was very friendly, gave us a tour, and arranged a pub lunch for us the following day. Breakfast was really great, lots of options while you sit and look out over the gardens. Our son loved his stay in particular - the horses and ducks made a big impression. I would recommend to anyone

Once we had been shown around and seen the ducks, we were asked not to revisit them as they had new ducklings to settle. Appreciate this, but explaining this to a 2-year-old was quite difficult.

Knoll Hill Farm was definitely the place to stay, set in beautiful Frome countryside, so peaceful and calm, so happy with out stay, breakfast was amazing, so tasty, staff were so polite and tended to our every need, nothing was too much trouble for them, a very clean and tidy place to stay, I would 100% recommend to anyone. Well worth the money, also in the village, a short walk down the road, was the White Hart pub, very welcoming staff, fantastic food, that again is highly recommended.

We COULDNT FAULT Knoll Hill Farm at all. The only downside to Frome was their taxi companies, which was a little stressful, we stayed at Knoll Hill Farm as we had a wedding to go to, trying to book taxis was a nightmare, then later to find out that taxis were not turning up to wedding guests. So that is something to be aware of, apart from that, everything was perfect.

Both the rooms we had booked were very well appointed, clean and comfortable. The bathrooms were large with a selection of soaps etc. The location was great as off the main road with views over beautiful countryside. The owners had a selection of animals which was lovely. The gardens were well maintained. The breakfasts were copious with many choices. The staff were courteous and helpful. The owner was friendly and pleasant. The beds were very comfortable and I had two very good nights.

There is nothing that I didn't like!

The house itself was absolutely beautiful. From the charming chickens and foal to the beautiful birds. The garden is meticulously kept and it really really feels like your walking into a little slice of heaven. The breakfast was also gorgeous, and the enthusiasm and cheerfulness of the staff really touched us. Also we couldn't help but walk over and fuss one of the staffs black dog who was adorable. We had chocolates on our pillows and the room and bed were so comfortable.

There honestly wasn't a single thing wdidn't like.

We liked getting a wonderful warm welcome. We liked the location, we liked our room. We liked the fact we could walk down to the local pub, and a reservation was made for us by the lovely staff from Knoll Hill Farm so we could have a meal. We liked the friendly helpful staff and really liked the nicely cooked and well presented breakfast. We liked the lovely room where breakfast was served and the warm friendly atmosphere. In fact we just liked absolutely everything and would happily recommend Knoll Hill Farm to everyone.

There was nothing not like.

Everyone was so welcoming and you really were made to feel like it was home from home. The view, gardens and surroundings were exceptional! Breakfast was impeccable quality and absolutely delicious with an abundance of choice! The local pub white hart was within walking distance and fab to unwind after a long day exploring. All I can say is if you are looking for a stay in a place that’s similar to that you’d read in a book, then book it won’t disappoint!! It’s definitely the place to stay!

We liked the quiet location on a country farm with beautiful views across the hills. We got to our part of the house via a lovely courtyard and the joining rooms for family was perfect- my son loved running next door into the grandparents room! Very comfy beds, big warm rugs to put over beds, radiators on till about ten pm- made rooms toasty warm, big bathroom ensuite with an amazing shower! lovely animals to see-my son enjoyed that, eggs fresh from chickens roaming free on land.. delicious breakfast in a bright room with beautiful country views..host was a friendly charming lady.. would definitely return when we visit Longleat and friends again.

Some cobwebs in the high ceilings and some mosquitos but it was a very damp wet time of year-they love that if a window has been open and on a farm..we did not mind once I got rid of them. Didn't ruin our stay atall.
