Bill and Rosie were lovely hosts with great advice on places to visit and logistics for getting there. The B and B was in the most beautiful setting in a cute village with castle ruins and charming cottages. The Mill was surrounded by lovely gardens and a local public footpath nearby. Rosie made a wonderful cooked breakfast with homemade bread and fresh berries. We enjoyed spending time with the resident cats who made us feel more at home as we missed our own cats. The mill was centrally located to many of the things we wanted to do so served as a great base. Rosie and Bill provided very clear directions to get there and some nice suggestions for places to eat nearby for dinner. We stayed in the family suite which had a mini fridge stocked with milk for tea and chilled water they refilled each day. There was a large selection of tea bags and some instant coffee and little packs of different cookies/biscuits. Would love to come stay again.

Nothing really to complain about, but there is one thing to think of adding to address a minor inconvenience. Since they requested we take our shoes off when we got in so as to not track dirt on the carpet (very understandable), it would be nice to have a storage bench by the front door where we could store our shoes and sit on to put them on when getting ready to leave. There was one chair but it often had stuff in it like a purse I didn’t feel comfortable moving.

We could not have been made to feel more welcome. Penny's Mill is a beautiful & incredibly comfortable B&B with so many caring touches. The hosts are generous with their time and made us delicious to-order breakfast each day. We had a lovely experience exploring the area, and Nunney Catch is the most charming village. Staying at Penny's Mill really made the trip for us!

We enjoyed a wonderful couple of nights at Penny’s Mill Rosie & Bill are very friendly and welcoming. Rosie’s breakfasts were fabulous. The cottage has a lovely garden where we enjoyed a glass of wine in the evening. Rosie & Bill were able to recommend many local restaurants and places to visit. The Mill is ideally located for visiting Stourhead and several National Trust properties. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would happily recommend.

The house is gorgeous and set in the most beautiful surroundings. So peaceful. Heaven on earth! Rosie and Bill are the most wonderful hosts. They are very friendly, helpful and they shared lots of great stories and insights on the area. They really put their whole heart and soul into Penny’s Mill. I will definitely be going back and cannot wait.

Everything-it was absolutely immaculately clean. It was a nicer experience than the hotel we stayed in after. The village, the location, the people are just gorgeous. We will definitely go back to hang out down The George for Flamingo Fridays 😃😊❤️

Everything; very special place in great location. Warm hospitality from Rosie& Bill, serving breakfast in a beautiful conservatory. Stunning surroundings, such as white cherry blossoms, sound of stream, recommended for tranquil countryside lovers.

A beautiful property with a cosy cottagey feel and a delicious breakfast. The location was perfect for our needs and the beds were extremely comfortable.

A beautiful property with the most welcoming hosts. On arrival our 4yr old grandson was unsure of being somewhere new but Bill’s fantastic greetings had him joyfully running into the house first! Rosie’s breakfasts were delicious.

The BnB is in such a lovely village location and Bill and Rosie were incredibly welcoming and friendly. The breakfasts were also awesome ! It's a great base to go for days out such as cheddar gorge and longleat. As well as the room we also were given a small living room to use which was lovely to come back to and chill out in the evening. Very much recommend.
