Staff very welcoming and friendly .Pub had a lovely atmostphere proper traditional pub lovely ! Rooms were lovely and clean beds were super comfy and although my room overlooked high street could hardly hear the traffic which was good . I was lucky had a free upgrade to family room it was huge ! even the bathroom was big and really clean .I would highly recommend a stay here it was a truly lovely experience thank you to all staff and management much appreciated 😊.

The only thing I would say was the slight step into bathroom could do with being made a bit clearer maybe but then I am prone to tripping !

was not expecting to find such a cute room, with a very classic pub decor. It was extremely clean and cozy to stay. After the pub closed it was very quiet and had a good night sleep. I would highly recommend this Inn, it was on the main street of battle and it gave me such rustic english country side vibes!!

Maybe would be useful to have a light over the mirror, as the bathroom light was not super bright. Other than this I cannot think of much else

The rooms was very big and i have never had such a comfortable sleep in a hotel. The owner was lovely and explained everything well.

As to be expected being above a pub, it was very noisy until midnight and i was woken up at half 6 by some noise downstairs. If i was staying for leisure this would not be a problem at all but perhaps not so suitable if you need to work in the evening. I would highly recommend staying here but is a point to note.

Location was excellent for what we wanted although road a little noisey. Staff super friendly and helpful.

Breakfast included. Unfortunately we stayed on a day when it’s not available although there are plenty of bakeries and coffee shops open at 9am so no problem.

The location was very central, it is not a particularly large town. There were several cafe's, restaurants and pubs nearby as well as being able to eat at the pub itself so a nice choice. The Battleground and Abbey are in walking location which was perfect.

Wonderful old pub and inn with great character, very helpful and welcoming staff, and a tasty menu for dinner. Bedrooms had been recently renovated, a nd were spacious, clean, and comfortable.

An area to drop off bags on arrival instead of on High Street - but realise that they might not be able to control this

Central location. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The room was clean and tidy, we had everything we needed and were very comfortable. We only had toast for breakfast but we all enjoyed a very tasty lunch there.

Perfectly positioned in the high street with a good choice on their menu. The service was great and friendly too.

Road outside was quite busy all night, and pot holes made the heavy traffic noisy.

The building, room and location where excellent and the staff were very accommodating and hospitable.

The room got to be a little hot and there was no top sheet for the bed only a heavy blanket (even just having a desk fan for some air movement would have helped)

The room was very lovely. Thr bed was huge and the carpet and furnishings were nice quality. Very clean, very cosy.

We were above the pub dance floor. We had to be back for 12/1am, but the dance floor didn't stop playing music until 12 and it was very very loud.
