Great location, i have a disability and didnt have to walk far to get to any of the places i visited. Room was really nice & had everything i needed to relax when i stayed in. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Really nice breakfast in the mornings, they cater for vegetarians and vegans, and even had gluten free bread. I felt at home there!

There was nothing i was unhappy about, but, just to put a comment in, i would say that i had to check out a little bit to early so i had to wait around for my friend to pick me up, but that may have been my own fault for not stipulating this when i first checked in.

Everything. From the moment we arrived, the owners could not have been more helpful - even watched our car for us to ensure no warden while we unloaded our bags and waited for free parking period to start (got right outside the hotel). Loved the decor all over but especially our cosy and beautifully decorated room with immaculately tiled en-suite and all the tea-coffee you need plus a coffee pod machine. Even had a mini bar with couple of beers which went down a treat pre-gig and comfy towelling robes in wardrobe (didn't use but what a lovely touch). A real find. At excellent breakfast, had chat with owners and learned they spent half a million restoring from derelict - and you can see they haven't scrimped, the quality is really top notch.

Other than having to leave after just one night, absolutely nothing. Fabulous place and if you're going to the De La Warr Pavillion, it's perfect - less than 5 minute walk to end of road.

Beautifully presented room, the decor was gorgeous! The room was very quiet and we couldn’t hear outside noise. The bed was incredibly comfortable , mini fridge with beers, water and milk . Lovely bathroom with a very nice hot shower. Dressing gowns also provided. The breakfasts were top notch , the eggs royal were absolutely delicious. The proprietors were very attentive, and even offered me a jug of honey and lemon for my sore throat!

There’s nothing we didn’t like, perhaps the only negative is the road itself with no parking but there are car parks near by.

The Driftwood Bexhill is a little gem. The hosts couldn’t do enough for us and were considerate and helpful. Our room was a little on the small side, but quite adequate for our short stay. The room and premises were exceptionally clean and tidy.

The only problem with The Driftwood was parking. There was no designated parking area, however, a permit was issued for each day we were there. Unfortunately, it had to be on a certain road where a corresponding letter was on the permit. On occasions spaces were limited so we had to drive round a few times to find a place to park, which was sometimes a walk away from the hotel. This by no means affects the standard of the property.

I can without hesitation recommend this superb boutique hotel, as things were fantastic from start to finish. Not only was the check in seamless and very friendly, but the room was brilliant and tastefully furnished, with everything you might expect, but surprisingly several you might not at this price point, including an incredibly tasty full English breakfast and two complimentary bottles of Becks lager (as well as biscuits, bottled fresh milk and the usual tea and coffee making items) – this contrasted with a recent trip to Berlin where the room cost 50% more and yet came with nothing, unless that is you wanted to pay an additional £24 for breakfast per night. The Driftwood’s shower (I was in room no.2) was absolutely spotless and the bed was VERY comfortable indeed. I had a great night’s sleep. Thanks to The Driftwood for all your efforts - 10/10

We had the pleasure of staying at Hotel The Driftwood, which was opened in 2017 but still looks as if it was newly inaugurated. The picturesque location near the coast of Bexhill-on-Sea lends the hotel a wonderfully tranquil atmosphere. An absolute highlight of our stay was the delicious breakfast served at the hotel. The variety of choices and the use of fresh ingredients ensured a delightful start to the day. The hotel owners, Greg and Lihong, are exceptionally kind and hospitable, making sure that guests feel right at home. Their warm demeanor adds a personal touch to the stay that is hard to surpass. Overall, Hotel The Driftwood left a highly positive impression on us. The combination of peaceful location, tasty breakfast, and very friendly owners makes this hotel an excellent choice for a restful stay near the coast. Highly recommended!

Best hotel stay in a long while! Such well designed rooms, spotlessly clean and with more facilities than you'd expect. Beautiful bathroom. Fridge, robes, fan, iron, slippers, radio, TV, etc etc etc. Very accommodating staff and the free breakfast was the cherry on the cake. If you're staying in Bexhill-On-Sea... stay here! My wife and I will certainly go back.

Everything was perfect at this property. There's normally some small improvement you can think of but not at this hotel. Nothing negative to say.

Excellent facilities, lovely room, great decoration, fantastic toiletries. You can tell there has been a lot of attention to detail which makes it feel like it is very boutique and special. The breakfast is very good and great service.

There wasn't anything we didn't like - but it would have been nice to have some background music during breakfast, as we were the only ones in the dinner area and a bit if music would have made it more atmospheric. But very minor point.

The friendly, welcoming & helpful staff & proprietor. The attention to detail that you find in only the top flight of any hotel either here or abroad. Superb breakfast more than ample portions, a comprehensive menu to suit every taste & obviously cooked fresh with both quality & local ingredients. The bathroom was breathtaking, the beds comfortable & the room @ a comfortable temperature. Cleanliness was second to none & the beautiful zen like touches, the lady proprietor is Chinese, gives an exquisite air of calmness & tranquility. Advice & help was given to park the car safely. Assistance with our luggage. No mean feat, we don't travel light. Pleasant but not intrusive conversation. An ambience that just gives you such a good feeling I have not experienced anywhere else.

Nothing. It's a bold claim but in my opinion it was faultless

The owners ensured all dietary requirements were addressed and served breakfast with a smile. The room was beautifully decorated with the mini kitchenette area tiled. Bedside tables are topped with quality and practical marble. The wardrobe had ironing board and iron as well as hair dryer and safe AND two bathrooms and spa slippers. The bathroom was beautifully appointed too. Several books on Sussex were also available to read including a dedicated book on the iconic de la warr pavilion. Resident parking permit supplied for stay - very useful.

The bedside light switch (room 2) doe not Control bedside lamps - and only controls main lights. So suggested to Greg that a bedside table lamp would be useful. I’m certain he’ll action this.
