Amazing staff and great facilities, the pool was empty when we used it so was great to use Hotel itself is very clean, we upgraded to a sea view room, and it was definitely worth the extra cost, but it was a very small extra cost so certainly wouldnt complain

Fantastic staff, fantastic service in all departments,fantastic food,very good room,couldn't do enough for us,nothing too much trouble,Can't say enough about the amazing staff .If you have a problem it is instantly attended to.Grandaughter loved the pools too It will be even better when the outside pool bar opens.Brilliant WELL TO EVERYONE including cleaners and maintenance team

The condition of this building is horrendous.Disabled access is practically non existant.You have to manually open huge double doors in order to drive through them to get outside with a mobility scooter!!Dangerous!!Lift access is useless too.!Owners please move into 21st century for these issues.Terrible shame this let's your hotel down

Staff were really friendly and helpful, room was really clean and modern. Breakfast was good and hotel throughout was very clean and tidy. Entertainment on a night was quite good. Although the hotel is quite far away down the promenade it was quiet and had a tram stop straight across the road.

There wasn't anything we didnt like just one thing could have been better our room was quite small and it was a bit of a struggle to get into the bathroom, but having said that other rooms like our daughters room were much better in size. Lifts were very small and only held 2/3 people and as I'm very claustrophobic I took the stairs to the 4th floor! Therefore if staying again I would request a first floor room.

It had everything we needed. It was fantastic weather so spent the day around the pool. Bar snacks or 3 course meals were available. Evening entertainment. It’s a bit dated but clean. Staff very friendly and food lovely, especially the breakfast and evening meal. Tram stop outside the hotel and great bar next door. We had a great stay

Indoor pool was dark and smelly but it was school holidays so lots of children. The lift was a bit hit and miss and had to use the stairs a lot or wait age’s because we had my elderly mum with us. Room was a bit dated but clean, we did have a sea view if we looked out the window to the right

Reception area was lovely,restaurant is really clean and well presented,food was absolutely fantastic. restraunt staff were very helpful.Both indoor and outdoor pools were great fun,pity the weather was rubbish.Bingo at night and entertainment was excellent.Tram stop right outside the doric which is excellent for easy commuting to central attractions.Clean bedroom and bathroom .Outdoor sauna was great.Jacuzzi was lovely.

Our bedroom was rather small,no window in bathroom which made me feel claustrophobic.(just me though)Beds never got changed after staying 4 nights.I assumed they'd get changed at least once.Steam room was full of mould in the grout which in turn is not healthy due to the spores that come out of the mould,so we didn't use it. We were all inclusive and paid extra for this but the variety of drinks wasn't great and the all inclusive stops at 10pm,no sockets near the bed either.

This is a nice hotel and our first visit, very clean hotel and definitely won't be the last time we visit - just probably not book it via booking.com after the hotel informed us book through them you don't get charged the £50 per night surplus, yes you get this back but if this is actually on booking.com where??

Booking.com should actually state that if you book via them you have to pay £50 per night, which you do get back once you leave as this is so they can check for damage. But a heads up online to say this would have been great so not finding out at the hotel that you have to pay this.

Pool area dirty with nappies and vodka bottles and litter as the pool bar wasn’t open :( Pool needs a lot of attention was murky and had chemicals put in whilst people in it :( Cement hanging off the rail in the pool and lots of tiles missing The sun lounger matresses we’re all stained and shabby The changing area was a mess and shabby

Decor and furnishings etc lovely . Lots of places to sit and enjoy a drink and look out to sea. Staff very friendly and helpful / particularly the bar staff. Parking available. Daily cleaning of room. Good value. Entertainment great although extremely loud. Kids team fab. Pool and jacuzzi was great. Good bar snack menu. Tram stop right outside

Small niggles - despite paying in full on arrival, hotel still insisted on a £50/night ‘retainer’. They said this wouldn’t come out of our account but it did - everyone was complaining about this as not everyone has this money to spare. Also wanted a £10 deposit per additional room key. No hooks anywhere in room or bathroom to hang coats, dressing gown etc, no real vegetarian breakfast options and no option to just have cereal and toast, fruit juice very watered down, only found out about vege dinner options on last night as these weren’t advertised anywhere. Loo roll very thin and cheap. Dressing table chair too low to see in mirror.

The restaurant and bar staff were friendly and helpful The menu for breakfast and dinner was very good full of variety but the chefs did an amazing job with the food so tasty and varied The entertainment was excellent Rooms were clean and attended to daily No noise at bedtime so a big plus

The indoor pool was so shallow so not ideal for swimming and the changing facilities were horrible Access to the indoor pool was unsafe for older less able people Shame due to bad weather the outdoor pool we couldn't use The temperature of our shower kept going either cold or extremely hot

Breakfast good, staff went over and beyond to meet my husband's non dairy needs. Room nice even though it hasn't been refurbished yet, got a free upgrade to fami!y sea view room as we had booked a twin, never got a chance to use any of the polls of jaccuzi but will make time next visit.

Wasn't informed about the £50 per night deposit you have to pay when booking in when you book through booking.com it was ok for us but considering people have to save for a holiday it's a lot of money for people on a budget that's an extra £350 up front for a family if you're staying a week, apart from that there wasn't anything we didn't like.
