I had five nights here for the Rebellion punk festival, I go every year and wish I had found this hotel before. I really can't fault the place, but if I had to go all Four in a Bed - one of the steps on the staircase creaked. The hosts are as helpful, friendly, and just plain nice as it's possible to be. It's clean and comfortable, and the breakfast is second to none. The best breakfast I've ever had in Blackpool, proper sausage and nice thick bacon rashers which obviously come from a local butcher rather than the mass produced stuff you get elsewhere. For me being at the punk festival at the Winter Gardens, it was a little out of the way, but I'm fit and enjoyed the 25 minutes walk along the prom. When I felt lazy, the tram stop is less than 2 minutes around the corner. All in all, an absolute gem of a place.

Yet another fantastic stay at the New Guilderoy Hotel. The rooms are spotless and there is plenty of choice for breakfast. They also have a stairlift for those guests who have difficulty climbing up and down the stairs. Simon and Rhona are the perfect hosts and I have now found my favourite hotel to stay at, I have even booked it for next year to make sure I can get a room. So if you want a fabulous hotel, reasonably priced, great food and great hosts then this is the hotel for you, can't wait for next year.

There is absolutely nothing I didn't like.

The other reviews cover it all... friendly and welcoming hosts, relaxed atmosphere, clean, had everything we needed, great breakfast. Particularly liked the way the hosts made it easy to have a take away and carry out by providing plates, cutlery, glasses and a space to eat. This really helped when we had to stay in one night after our son was a bit poorly having overdosed on rides at the pleasurebeach! Would definitely recommend.

Rooms not the biggest but it's what I'd expect from these original properties and it had everything we needed so please take comment this as for information and not in any way a complaint.

I slept well after driving to Blackpool and then a long walk along the seafront. Toilet rolls, towels, shower gel and shampoo were provided and bed was clean. There was free wifi available although I had good signal on my phone anyway. My wife and I loved the breakfast next morning, I enjoyed a full English and Rhona even found some rice for my wife who is also Filipino. Rhona and Simon are great hosts and found the place welcoming and friendly with good atmosphere. My wife enjoyed a chat and Mad Mick of the Official Monster Raving Loony Party was crazy. We would love to return and stay again.

There was nothing I can think of we did not like.

I loved the cosiness of the property. It's so quirky and eclectic with loads to look at. It was beautifully decorated for Christmas too. Simon and Rhona are very welcoming and friendly guests and made great suggestions of what to do and where to visit. We walked along the front to Bispham to see all the main lights on their recommendation. We had the budget room but I wouldn't have said it was particularly "budget". I've stayed in rooms which haven't said they're budget which were more basic for more money. Great location, central for the trams. If we ever make the trip back up to Blackpool, this would be our first choice of stay.

Lovely little hotel in a residential street literally 2 or 3 minutes walk from the seafront at the northern end of Blackpool. Ideally located for the Blackpool running festival, for trams and buses and exploring Blackpool and surrounding areas. Warm welcome from Rhona and Simon. They really go the extra mile to accomodate individual needs. I was able to have an early breakfast to make the half marathon start time. Really considerate about the needs of someone clinically vulnerable to Covid making a short trip comfortable and stress free. Comfortable room, hot shower with fluffy towels, plenty of drawers/ hanging space and an ironing board. Also tea and coffee making facilities and a small fridge in my room which was really useful. Microwave available and plates / cutlery in the lounge areas if you wanted to get a takeaway etc. Cooked breakfast available as well as continental options. Much nicer than a slick, sophisticated chain style hotel. This was homely, individual, welcoming; run by people who care about what they do and work hard. Perfect. I'd love to stay again.

Rhonda was lovely. The place was so beautiful and ornate plenty to look at. was showed how to use fire in lounge if I wanted it . The bedroom was perfect plenty of space a beautiful desk with everything I needed on it. Supplied with iron,ironing board, little fridge for cans, hair dryer, bottled water , a fan, loads of magazines and all kettle facilities. I loved it so much that I asked for that room again next year. Spotlessly clean. I would highly recommend staying here. I sadly didn't have breakfast as I was there for a David Bowie weekend, it smelt nice but our concert nights ran on until two am 😂 so didn't feel like eating. Breakfast was excellent, nice selection of cereals, jams, toast, continental pastries, then the cooked breakfast was hot and tasty, can accommodate slight modifications to the breakfast if its not too busy. The lounge was nice, we sat in there after a long day and brought us some sandwiches from town to sit in the warm and watch TV. The staff were lovely and friendly and really couldn't do enough for you. Room was clean and tidy, had all the things we needed, kettle, tea and coffee, complimentary bottles of water, towels, shower gel and shampoo, iron, ironing board, hair dryer, TV, mirror, everything was there for us. On the way up the stairs, a table with more milk tea and coffee to take up to room so you didn't have to find someone to get more which was very helpful.

The view was not great, as the last roof it looked out on had some debris, obviously I was not there to look at the view, but maybe frosted glass or a cover for the bottom of the window to let in light but hide the bottom part of the glass? So people don't flag it again? Bit tight on the stairs with the stair lift but a necessity for disabled customers so definitely not a complaint.

From the moment we arrived the hosts were so nice, the hotel is lovely and very cosy and the breakfast was exceptional. Room was nice with a really comfortable bed and very clean, and had a bonus of a little fridge to put your drinks in, although we didn't use it the owners told us that if we wanted takeaway then they would order for us and we could use the cutlery and extras in the lounge area.

Nothing to dislike, looking forward to using the hotel again next time we are in Blackpool

Met by the very friendly owner who took us to the lounge and explained everything we needed to know then showed us to our room. The room was very clean and everything in it plenty ofctea coffee and water even a small fridge. Breakfast was lovely served on piping hot plates and a self service for lots of cereals fruit ect x all in all a really nice hotel for the price x The personal room mugs added to a great touch .

Wasn't much to not like our room was a little small but not didn't really affect our stay. We were out at a function in South so a bit way out but for 1 night didn't matter.
