Maddie and John from the start were very welcoming. My fault I booked a single room in error, they were more than helpful and gave us a double room for a little extra charge. The room was very clean and tidy. Everything you need tea coffee, iron and ironing board. The bar was lovely and reasonably priced. Breakfast was really excellent alot of options. Extra points to Maddie for making swans on the bed for both nights we stayed.

It's alittle far to walk to the tower especially when it's cold but this is not no fault of the hotel. Tram was only £2.60 and a taxi 6 pounds. I would pay this all day long for how good the hotel is.

The owners were very polite and friendly we all felt at ease. They couldn’t do enough for us. They offered us their parking space but we had already found one. There are spaces on the property. The breakfast was beautifully cooked and there was plenty to choose from. Maddy was especially kind and patient to our 11 year old grandsons and myself as we struggle with food. The hotel was peaceful clean and was situated near the bus stop on the seafront. There is a shop nearby.

Nice quiet location . Maddie and John, the owners were very friendly and helpful. The room was of a good size and comfortable. Tea and coffee supplies were good as was cleanliness of room and communal areas. Good choice of breakfasts and well cooked w8th plenty of coffee. Nice bar area and Maddie and John were great hosts. They were both able to give helpful information about Blackpool and things to do.

Being a rather stocky person I would have preferred a slightly bigger shower but it was not a problem as I still managed to shower.

Maddie and John are welcoming, caring and great hosts. Room was very comfy and spacious. Maddie took good care of us from picking the best options for breakfast, it was yummy and cooked beautifully. Plenty of games to play and pool room has relaxing atmosphere. Location is perfect can walk to Blackpool tower and for other attractions. Parking was free which a bonus. Really enjoyed the stay, will visit again by sure and highly recommended.

The owners Maddie and John were very welcoming making the stay at the Rowan really enjoyable. John's tasty English breakfast was excellent and sets you up nicely for a day in Blackpool! The hotel has a nice bar area which John sets up for karaoke in an evening where anyone is welcome to sing or in my case try to sing! The room was ideal and had all the amenities that you could ask for. The location was ideal too as there was parking all around hotel and the handy tram service into Blackpool is just a minute's walk away. All in all a great weekend away!

Property was clean and tidy. The room was spacious and had everything we needed for our stay.The hosts were an absolute pleasure and couldn't do enough for us. Location was quiet and only a short tram ride away from Blackpool Tower,

I like high pressure showers ( this is more a personal preference) but the shower was more than adequate to wash with. So not something I would mark the property down for.

Had a really good stay at the Rowan, Maddie and John we really good host and made you feel really welcomed. The hotel was spotlessly clean and the bedding smelt really nice, there were also nice little touches in the room like bottles of water. John also made an yummy full english in the morning. Would definitely recommend staying here for your stay in Blackpool.

John and Maddie were the consummate hosts. Very welcoming and friendly. Great value for money and we would certainly return there if visting Blackpool again in the future The breakfast was absolutely superb including Haggis and Black pudding. Completely set you up for the day and to boot Maddie had memorised everyone's name and breakfast preferences - bit of an art that but really made the service very personable and warm.

The shower was a little difficult to set to the right temperature but once we found the optimum point we did not touch it again ! Seagulls can be very noisy especially if opening the window at night

The hosts were amazing. They were very accommodating and made our stay special. Thank you so much Maddie and John for making our weekend perfect. The breakfast was amazing by any standards but outstanding for Blackpool. The location was perfect for us. Far enough out of the centre that we weren't bothered by noise but a 1 min walk to a tram stop that took 5 mins to get to the tower. The facilities in the room were fab, plenty of decent tea and coffee. The bar was well stocked, reasonably priced and comfortable. We would highly recommend and we will be back.

Very friendly owners Maddie & John made us all feel at home from the get go. They couldn’t do enough for us especially our very chatty grand daughter who loved them on arrival John helped get our cars parked securely and on entering the ROWAN we where warmly greeted and given a full tour of our room and how to work things you Maddie who also supplied us with ice cold water as it was a very hot day which was very much appreciated, they also gave lots of good local tips on where to go and how to get there including the trams which are just a few yards away and later we enjoyed there company in there friendly bar. Breakfast was excellent with a great choice cooked to perfection. I would certainly stay at the ROWAN Hotel when we return to Blackpool and I would highly recommend a stay Here.
