Maddie and John from the start were very welcoming. My fault I booked a single room in error, they were more than helpful and gave us a double room for a little extra charge. The room was very clean and tidy. Everything you need tea coffee, iron and ironing board. The bar was lovely and reasonably priced. Breakfast was really excellent alot of options. Extra points to Maddie for making swans on the bed for both nights we stayed.

It's alittle far to walk to the tower especially when it's cold but this is not no fault of the hotel. Tram was only £2.60 and a taxi 6 pounds. I would pay this all day long for how good the hotel is.

Amazing stay with welcoming owners and other guests, everyone was friendly. Room was lovely and spacious, tasty breakfast included. Can’t wait to return. My favourite part was that it felt like a little family with the owners and other guests having a nice chat and few drinks together in the bar area. My children loved it and also got some sweeties out of the sweety drawer. I love how they have a toy corner for children to play with a few toys. See you soon. Toni and boys x

Can’t fault anything

What is not too like about this little gem!! Our stay was like a home from home. John and Maddie could not have been more accommodating, and I couldn't recommend this place highly enough. Nothing was too much trouble. It totally exceeded my expectations. Ideal for families and couples alike. Will definitely be back at some point. Rumour has it, that if you phone direct you may get a better price too 😉

The owners were very polite and friendly we all felt at ease. They couldn’t do enough for us. They offered us their parking space but we had already found one. There are spaces on the property. The breakfast was beautifully cooked and there was plenty to choose from. Maddy was especially kind and patient to our 11 year old grandsons and myself as we struggle with food. The hotel was peaceful clean and was situated near the bus stop on the seafront. There is a shop nearby.

Nice quiet location . Maddie and John, the owners were very friendly and helpful. The room was of a good size and comfortable. Tea and coffee supplies were good as was cleanliness of room and communal areas. Good choice of breakfasts and well cooked w8th plenty of coffee. Nice bar area and Maddie and John were great hosts. They were both able to give helpful information about Blackpool and things to do.

Being a rather stocky person I would have preferred a slightly bigger shower but it was not a problem as I still managed to shower.

Maddie and John are welcoming, caring and great hosts. Room was very comfy and spacious. Maddie took good care of us from picking the best options for breakfast, it was yummy and cooked beautifully. Plenty of games to play and pool room has relaxing atmosphere. Location is perfect can walk to Blackpool tower and for other attractions. Parking was free which a bonus. Really enjoyed the stay, will visit again by sure and highly recommended.

Property was clean and tidy. The room was spacious and had everything we needed for our stay.The hosts were an absolute pleasure and couldn't do enough for us. Location was quiet and only a short tram ride away from Blackpool Tower,

I like high pressure showers ( this is more a personal preference) but the shower was more than adequate to wash with. So not something I would mark the property down for.

The owners Maddie and John were very welcoming making the stay at the Rowan really enjoyable. John's tasty English breakfast was excellent and sets you up nicely for a day in Blackpool! The hotel has a nice bar area which John sets up for karaoke in an evening where anyone is welcome to sing or in my case try to sing! The room was ideal and had all the amenities that you could ask for. The location was ideal too as there was parking all around hotel and the handy tram service into Blackpool is just a minute's walk away. All in all a great weekend away!

Nothing to dislike!

The owners were lovely, greeted us on arrival and made us feel very welcome. The room was comfortable and had almost everything we could possibly need.

Parking around the back was a little inconvenient but at least the car was safe. The laundry detergent used did make the bed linen very perfumed which made the first night's sleep a little difficult. No bath available and the toilet a little snug.

Had a really good stay at the Rowan, Maddie and John we really good host and made you feel really welcomed. The hotel was spotlessly clean and the bedding smelt really nice, there were also nice little touches in the room like bottles of water. John also made an yummy full english in the morning. Would definitely recommend staying here for your stay in Blackpool.
