Staying here went beyond my expectations. Claire was a lovely host who knows a lot about what is going on in Blackpool and made some recommendations that was very much appreciated! The service she provided for breakfast and everything was impeccable. The accommodation itself was truly to be desired for. It was clean and the amenities available were high quality and thoroughly thought through. Thank you for such a lovely stay!

Cleanliness, warmest welcome, attention to detail, approachable and well informed recommendations of things to do in the local area. Every optional extra you could think off has been thought of as standard in this wonderful B&B, shoe horn, ear buds and hot water bottle all very much appreciated and exceeded expectations, My husband thought he preferred hotels, you by far blew his mind with the quality, personal touches, and level of service you both provided. You were also able to sway and change his opinion on B&B’s and Blackpool itself, it was a lovely stay and I hope to get him back that way sometime and would happily return.

Amazing experience, beautiful boutique hotel located in South Shore, minutes away from the main attractions in Blackpool. We stayed here for our 1st wedding anniversary and I was really glad we chose Number 1 St Luke's. The room was gorgeous, roomy, light and airy and had all the facilities anyone could need and more! The bed was comfortable, the bathroom with spa bath was large and clean and the breakfast the following morning was cooked to perfection. The hosts are such a wonderful couple, made us feel ever so welcome and kept in touch throughout the whole booking experience. They even acknowledged that it was our anniversary and made a special effort with the room. We were so impressed with our stay, that upon checking out, we have booked for another stay next year, which we eagerly await. Anyone who is considering a visit to Blackpool must make this their number one choice for accommodation. 5 star hands down! Absolutely brilliant!!

Wonderful knowledgeable host, myself and husband felt immediately at home, the room was perfect with lovely extras such as chocolate/mint on the bedside table, welcome tea, coffee, hot chocolate and biscuits in the room along with a mini fridge with fresh milk & filtered water. Lovely room with a cosy setting area, a very comfortable bed, spa bath was a treat. You could ask for anything more. Breakfast was absolutely superb. It's all the little extra thoughtful details that make this b&b stand out from the rest. If I could give more than a 10 score I would. High recommend. Thank you Claire for our lovely stay.

Beautiful B&B, comfortable and spotlessly clean; all staff very friendly. Claire has thought of everything with lots of lovely touches to make your stay perfect. Lovely breakfast. Location was excellent and within walking distance to our needs. We would have no hesitation to return in the future.

The shower - but that's just my personal preference as I prefer the kind of shower head that I can direct the flow of water when I want to keep my hair dry!

Owners were very friendly, nothing too much trouble. A warm friendly atmosphere. Wow factor when entering the room. Special touches I.e. guest box with everything you need e.g. plasters, corkscrew, nail file and more. Breakfast menu lots of great options. Claire very helpful with knowledge of the area. P.S. Claire, the hotel in Gullane is The Bonny Badger 😁

This was my first experience of staying in a B&B in the UK. My partner and I were celebrating our wedding anniversary. From the get-go, Claire welcomed us with a bit of flare and high energy after getting drained from the heat. It was the weekend of the airshow and the number of people was so overwhelming. To find a place just off the promenade was a nice refuge. The room was comfortable with plenty of amenities - tea, coffee and biscuits. The whirlpool bath with tv and lights set up was amazing. These little touches made relaxing from the chaos outside. We had the champagne breakfast (for extra) brought up to our room and it was a lot of food - enough to get our stomachs filled and mood right for Pleasure Beach. The real winner though is Claire. She made everything easy and was just an amazing host. She made sure we got a cab to get us back to the station. What more could you ask for?

Nothing. Any issue we had was solved immediately by Claire.

Fantastic host's felt very welcome lovely garden all lit up at night time with huge jacuzzi,our room was very nice and clean with everything you need and extras, Quiet area we slept like a log even with the windows open,Just a ten minute walk to the Beach, The full English breakfast made by Claire was delicious poached eggs perfect, the little extras just make the place even better like the little emergency box in our room with things inside like plasters, little sewing kit, paracetamol ,sanitary towels, hair slides, scissors,Rennes etc ,we have stayed in lots of BnB in Blackpool and this is by far the best, definitely wil be coming back again.

Having to go home we'd have loved to stay longer.

Cannot think of one bad thing to say. Claire was fantastic and made us feel so welcoming this weekend. The room was amazing especially the bath and the tv in the bathroom and the PlayStation 2 to play on while the weather outside was lousy. Breakfast was delicious with lots of choice. Will defo be returning to the best place in Blackpool. Thank you so much chelsea and Andy x

Leaving to go home

What a lovely stay I had at one st Luke's. I was travelling with work and fancied a treat, the jacuzzi bath immediately caught my eye so I booked and I'm so glad I did! I spent a while in the bath and relaxed in my beautiful room doing work for the rest of the evening. The owners were friendly and approachable without being too present and I felt comfortable there as a single lady. But the crowning glory was most definitely the breakfast on the morning! I had salmon and scrambled eggs and omg they were the best eggs I've ever had! Really set me up for the day :) thank you again.
