All staff from cleaners to reception staff were extremely helpful and always smiling. Made us feel welcome. Very clean room. Not far from beach and shops

absolutely lovely staff at reception and refurbished hotel to a very good standard - striped carpets and hood colouring in rooms - not “ heavy” like a lot of bad hotel design . Very clean and fresh linen- no fault at all with the bathrooms - everything very new . For the price - honestly - faultless

There was no meals but they say that when you book - but great hotels nearby like the Carlton that do good breakfasts - at 14 - 20 pounds but I’m prepared to do that - depends how you are as a person - but not as nice interiors or general freshness in these other places - the next big jump up to get the whole thing is 150 to 200 a night in sumner .

The room with a bathroom is clean, there was an iron, a fan and a heater, a hairdryer and a TV. The large bed, I, my husband and our 2-year-old son slept peacefully together. The socket was already with a hole for USB charging - this is convenient. The windows have 2 types of curtains - curtains and blinds - so the room was dark enough. The soap was already in the bathroom.

unfortunately, there was no breakfast during our stay - we were warned. I hope they will return breakfast next time. A strange coffee machine near the reception desk - I couldn't buy coffee because I couldn't enter the pin code due to the lack of buttons on the machine. But I didn't have time to ask at the reception about the coffee machine, so it's better to ask on the first day of arrival at the hotel.

Check-in was amazing. We arrived by car at midday and although check-in was 3pm, the receptionist said our room was ready and we had a room with air-con. The hotel is very basic with no restaurant facilities and the room had basic facilities but it was clean, tidy and had a comfortable bed. The air-con helped us to keep cool overnight so a welcome bonus. The shower was very powerful and better than more expensive hotels that we have stayed in. The hotel location is perfect. A 10 minute walk to Bournemouth Pier and beach and very close to bars, restaurants for evening meal and drinks. All the staff we met were kind and very helpful.

Couldn't fit the kettle under the bathroom sink tap so had to fill the kettle using the mugs. Not a big problem.

Great price for value, very well located, friendly staff, easy to check in and out, room very nice and comfortable, nice and clean bathroom.

When we arrived there was a KFC bucket next to our door, it still was there 2 days later when we left. Also on the last day we were looking if we didn't forget anything and found out a lot of old stuff under the bed that weren't ours.

Property was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. The TV now has Netflix and there is also free wi-fi. The staff are very friendly and helpful and this is our 2nd year coming to stay and we hope to be able to book again for next year in shaa Allah ☺️. We had to check-in very late due to the train strike but this was no problem at all for the staff who were very courteous and understanding.

Very friendly staff. Air conditioning in the room was excellent. The room was fairly well equipped. Reasonably priced.

Decor is a bit on the grubby side. There have clearly been attempts to renovate but the finish is not very polished. The bathroom was very strange with an long thin bathroom the loo was squished between the wall and shower screen. All a bit cramped. There was a fridge in the room which is great to see, it was a little noisy though.

This hotel was perfect for me. It has very friendly and helpful staff. It is clean. It has well designed and decorated rooms and shared areas. The location is excellent being both close to the beech and the train station.

Due to the hotel being mainly a seasonal hotel it only offers a limited amount of short stay rooms out of high season. This is a pity as I would have liked to have used this hotel as my first choice throughout all seasons

The property was clean and comfortable with a large car park. Fresh towels were provided. And we had refills of the tea and coffee stations when asked. The air conditioning in the family room was a great touch. Staff were welcoming.

As I was travelling with my grandparents they really would have benefited from a lift being installed. It’s a shame that breakfast wasn’t available as there wasn’t many places close by to get food.

The property was clean and comfortable.

I couldn’t fit the kettle under the sink tap to fill it up , it did not fit . No biscuits! Also it’s a hotel so I thought there would be a bar open and I thought there would be breakfast, but there was none of this . Also the dates I booked the price was doubled so to have not a biscuit or bar or know optional breakfast makes me think I would most likely not stay here again.
