Very comfy bed, nice sea view, very close to the beach. There is a lift which is great if on higher floors. The breakfast was lovely, all staff very friendly and accommodating. The double room was a great size for a couple, lots of space and the bathroom was clean, shower had good water pressure with no issues. Nice shampoo, shower gel etc. Fair distance from Brighton centre and the pier but there is a bus stop right infront of the hotel. There was a fan in the room which was surprisingly powerful and kept us cool over a hot weekend.

Fair distance from Brighton centre and the pier, although there is a bus stop right infront of the hotel. There are very limited car parking spaces which isn't helpful if you need to use your car.

Another lovely stay at The Princes Marine Hotel. We stayed in May and had the 'Sunset' room which was incredible with a large balcony and magnificent views. Unfortunately that room wasn't available this time, but nevertheless we had a lovely bright spacious room with a sea view. The staff at the hotel are very friendly and helpful, and actually remembered us from our previous stay which was very heartwarming. We particularly like Erika, one of the waitresses in the breakfast room who was so very friendly, happy and chatty. It was a real pleasure to have her serving our delicious breakfasts. We'll certainly be back to stay at the hotel again, it's a really lovely place.

Nothing could have been better.

we loved the room, the sea view was great and the weather was perfect, We came down from the west midlands, and was a bit concerned with the charge we might get driving on the m25, but i don't believe it was in force, at the time, the staff were all first class very polite and approachable at any time, with some dining in the area very good it would be nice to be able to eat at the hotel, the bed was wonderful and a good night had by both of us , I've stayed at many best westerns around the world and you know your going to have quality at whatever one you stay at, which is why I've joined the loyalty scheme.

parking could have been better, reserved on-road parking for customers maybe, and evening meals would have been a plus .

This hotel is right on the front at Hove and just a short walk from Brighton. The rooms was spotlessly clean and quite large. The bed was large and comfortable. We were at the back of the hotel, which I would recommend over the front and the sea view. There is a busy road at the front and that and some waste land between the hotel and the sea. The back is much quieter. The breakfast was very good. All the staff were helpful and friendly.

Given that it's summer, there could have been more fresh fruit with breakfast. I would have liked to have the option of not having towels changed. Most hotels now offer this as an energy saving for climate change.

Location was just across the road from the beach and although a short distance from the main hub of Brighton, it was perfect for where I wanted to visit. The room was a lovely surprise for the price. My one request was for quiet and this was very quiet. The breakfast was very good, the best part being it was not a buffet but a full service. Thus the full English was fresh. The service was friendly and immediate.

Hard to find anything but the lift was slow - this is scraping the barrell for a negative and the sink had a slight problem draining water. However I reported this and it was not a problem.

The room was really good by comparison to the executive suite we normally have at Jury's Inn. The parking was good as I am a disabled driver and i was able to park right outside the front of the hotel.

I didn't like the cost of the room as it was dearer than Jury's Inn but they didn't have a room for us. We were told on arrival that the breakfasts had been paid for and we were shown where to go in the morning. I didn't recall paying for the breakfast, but the receptionist assured me it was paid for. We went to0 the breakfast room started with a cereal and the server brought us coffee and we had a slice of toast each when she came and told us that we were not on the breakfast list and we would need to pay, we agreed and she said she would get it added to our bill. When we booked out the receptionist who looked new was being shadowed by a manager. I mentioned the little hiccup with the breakfast and he kindly reduced the breakfast by £10.00. A very fare gesture I thought. AAA+++

A wonderful 3 day break from start to finish. location great for bus travel and parking a big bonus! very friendly, welcoming and all staff very helpful on desk, in bar and restaurant and housekeeping. desk staff very helpful by providing phone info for evening take away which we ate in bar. very friendly and entertaining night porter who shared a great card trick with us. room, bathroom and hotel cosy and warm ( as a cold spell) and scrupulously clean. great daily room service from housekeeping. breakfasts were excellent with a good hot menu range and buffet.

we could not fault this hotel at all and would highly recommend.

Great location overlooking Hove sea front, away from the centre of the city. We were visiting friends in Portslade so it was convenient. Reception staff very polite and friendly. We had a large room on the top floor and although a downs view room, the balcony wrapped around the room and there was a good view of the sea. Bed was comfortable but we would have preferred a king size (funny what you get used to!) Nice to have a small sofa too - saves perching on the end of the bed. Bathroom clean and a very powerful shower which was lovely. Didn't eat in the hotel but breakfast choices seemed to be good and reasonably priced. The car park is very small, there wasn't space when we arrived, and to be fair we had been warned about this. We parked in the residential street next to the hotel- pay via a meter or on a phone ap so it was easy. Cheaper than in the city centre too! We would definitely stay again.

Friendly staff, nice views at the back too, we could see all across Hove and towards the downs. Breakfast had limited but well selected choices, but it included English breakfast. The location is very good, just across Hove lawns and very near to nice pubs and restaurants in Church Road. The hotel offers the choice to order food and they will provide plates and cutlery, and drinks if you want them from their bar. The room was very confortable and clean, over all a very nice stay.

We would've liked to check in a bit earlier. I can't remember if there was an option to drop the suitcases, maybe there was not.

The room was large and had two armchairs in it which was good because we had some free time in our stay. The breakfast was excellent, cooked for us and with plenty of choice. The location on the sea front is so nice that we normally pay for a sea view.

My only concern is that we pay a lot extra for flexible bookings. As a Reward Member we don't get points when we book through Booking.com and we still pay in the case of my October booking, a lot more for it to be flexible. (£100 ish) My stay of 4 days in October will cost £200 more than my stay in April last year of the same length. This has made me question my choice of hotels and whether or not the stay is worth the money.
